It's one code, which kind of surprised me. Ah well. I have no PS3, so it's only the Vita games for me (and Evolved...I guess). I may have an unopened Asian-English Civ Rev 2 for Vita available.
That sucks. Last PlayStation bundle was separate codes.

I have most of the games in this bundle already, but would have easily bought it and given away half the codes.

Thanks. Did it ever actually pop up for sale on BB? I was occasionally looking it up. For a bit I saw no listing, then recently I noticed a "check stores" listing. I was holding out thinking it was about to come in stock, and missed the 20% off window at Amazon :( This ends up being cheaper tho :)
It was definitely live for at least a few days prerelease because I remember seeing it. LRG has had a crazy schedule (= I have been spending too much money) and I decided to pass since it was the same day as Oceanhorn and Plague Road and I could always get it later...

I missed the morning batch and was going to buy it if I missed the afternoon batch. (Not sure if it was actually available release day because I bought the LRG ones).

I feel like Best Buy has been getting at least one restock on Vita games that sell out right after release.

Farming Simulator 18 was pulled from GameStop and they do not list used copies so that might be another one to keep an eye on if you are into those kind of games.

Anyone have any bets as to which game(s) will be the Vita's Magical Chase? (I seriously doubt anything will reach that price level, but who knows).

I guess some obvious contenders are Breach and Clear as well as Ar Nosurge.

Any bets on the dark horse(s)?

Rose in the Twilight, Oden Sphere, DJ Max Technika Tune, Operation Babel?

Argh, missed Collar X Malice at Best Buy, and it's out of Amazon's Prime 20% off window. If I wait, is it more likely to come back at BB, or go OOS everywhere?

Is Collar x Malice a VN or something else? Hasn't been on my radar til I saw people mentioning it in the thread.
Yup, it's a visual novel. I really like it.

I get the feeling it will be fairly available. I don't remember the last Aksys game that disappeared super quick.

Well we know B&C release numbers, but I have no idea how many of Ar Nosurge where produced, but considering it was only offered in a special edition set, that I believe was over $50, those numbers are going to be on the low end as well. I'm sure not B&C low, but lower than most average retail titles would be.

Most retail games in general are probably going to have at least 5000 copies of any one title out there, with some of the online exclusive titles being of course the lower produced in general. Unless there's a retail title out there that was super under produced, and then all of a sudden has a surge in popularity, I doubt we'll see any of the earlier mentioned two titles area of worth, but I guess any thing could happen, given enough time.

First PSN bundle (capcom) was individual codes, but the 2nd one (Deepsilver/THQ) was also just 1 code.

Just so the people here know, since we've been discussing this in the LRG thread mainly, Ys Original release will have it's normal run as per the usual rabid Friday listing, however; they will also be offering a different cover variant that will be available for pre-order for a 24 hour period, so people who just want the game, and don't feel like crowding in to rush on that release day will be guaranteed to secure a copy in that 24 hour period.

When will it be available?

When will it be available?
Not sure yet.

They haven't even confirmed the date for the regular release yet since they might move everything back to accommodate this new thing they're implementing.

So yeah, it was supposed to be next Friday originally for the regular release, but now it's all up in the air.

Talks of it possibly moving into the week after might be a more plausible date, but we'll see.

Yeah this preorder is going to be pointless for me since I'm after the CE.

Keep in mind that this hasn't been officially confirmed yet, so until we get an announcement things could still change.

True, but it's more than just a random rumor.

The LRG guys mentioned they had a way to insure everyone could get a copy of the game over in the LRG thread. Then Doug mentioned in a panel at MO Game Con that this is what they were planning to do. The video of the panel is over on the LRG thread as well.

If they do the whole preorder thing, I'd be happy just getting the variant. Hopefully the cover looks good. I don't care about LE versions.

thats kinda scary. im sure it will sell well being Ys but its a big gamble for a small company. you figure they will have to order a minimum amount of them and if they only sell like 700 then they stuck with rest.

Oh, for sure. I just don't want anyone to feel dicked over if some details end up changing between now and then. Douglas even mentioned in the video that they still hadn't finalized anything.

By the way, this whole plan sounds kind of like a suggestion we've heard in these threads before. Now, if only I could remember whose it was... ;)

did they release a picture of the variant cover?

i believe the regular one is a reversable cover with one being a tower & the other side the faces of the two characters.

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not, but Axiom Verge Multiverse Edition Vita is available for preorder at Best Buy for $23.99 with GCU.

I don't believe they have 100% confirmed their plans yet, so don't expect any pictures until we all know this is for sure happening.

:whistle2:$

Yeah, definitely don't want anyone feeling wronged. Seems like with the ESRB thing possibly hitting for this release as well, it might have helped force the idea since someone has to pay for the long form rating.

that other announcement didnt really do anything for me.. but i know me... ill buy them both.  i make bad decisions when it comes to the vita

No comments about the announcement of AsDivine Hearts from LRG next Friday in the Ys Origin scramble?

Yeah, I don't like the LRG cover for Ys either. I had a Play Asia Vita version ordered a long time ago with a discount, will keep that version. Seems like they could have put a little more effort into the design, it looks boring.

I mean, there's a very specific reason they're doing a variant cover, it's exactly to sell more copies.. Because people wanted it lol
Nobody wanted it. When people see different covers for the same game they feel complied to buy every version of it. The only reason LGR is doing it is because they know people will buy every version available but that doesn't mean people actually want it. It's there so people with lot of money or people with no self control will buy it.

They're doing it because they want to make sure everyone who wants a copy can get one. They're having a 24hour window to buy it, which they've never done before outside skullgirls. People will always find a way to complain

Edit: Unless you're talking about the convention exclusives, I understand that can be annoying. I like them but I understand people on both sides

This is bullshit. I do not care one way or another about variant covers. I don't feel "complied" (the word is "compelled") to "buy every version of it". You're generalizing to a huge extent and not making a valid point.

Also FYI it's LRG, not LGR. At least proof your posts better before you spew this kind of garbage.

No one is sewing garbage, I am entitled to voice my opinions and thoughts. I admit that I made some spelling errors due to typing really fast and spellcheck but you could just not respond but I guess that is asking for too much.

Also FYI how about you at "keast" (the word is "least") proof (Missing the word "read") your posts before you sew your garbage before criticizing me on my proof reading abilities.

My post says "least", not "keast".

Also I said "spewing", not "sewing". Lay off the pipe dude.

I see the point your trying to make, and depending on the situation, I would say it could in fact be true. But this particular variant is only being offered due to a few other recently BIG titles exceeding demand, and leaving many out in the cold. From a contractual stand point, LRG may have had no choice than to offer a different cover, as they already had specific numbers in place for what was originally going to be offered.

If not for recent issues, this wouldn't have happened otherwise, so I would say LRG is above board in this particular situation. Now, in regards to people wanting each game offered, that's a personal issue, as I may get the 24 hr version, so I can have all the versions offered. My funds are tight, so maybe I will, maybe not. But there are many here who post all the time, that they only get what they want, and not to complete a set of some kind. And all of the other variants that have been offered where for promotion purposes at trade shows, which I'm sure they could move most of, if not for holding on to a set amount to offer later for the fans who couldn't attend. Which a lot of places don't do, and when it does happen, the qty's offered online are a joke. LRG is better than most in that regard.
