All future LRG releases are delayed indefinitely!

ESRB Has suckered their way into the back pockets of all three system producers!

Honestly, I needed a  fuck ing break, so as long as no titles got canceled over this, I'm cool with the delays(Actually happy about it). LOL

Not sure how you came to that conclusion. They said today that the next release day will be October 13th even with the new ESRB requirements. It will definitely slow the process, but it won't stop it.

From the comments section of the LRG Facebook post:

PS4 will be shipping out early next month. Vita needs a final round of Sony testing to pass certification, but it should hopefully be done in time to ship in November.
I think someone was asking about it recently, don't remember if it was here or the LRG thread.

In general, I'm glad there's been a slowdown in LRG releases. For a while there, we were at two games a week, every week. The Vita's got a packed release schedule until the end of the year and Christmas is right around the corner. Only so much money I can reasonably blow on shelf ornaments, you know?

In before LRG starts selling LRG specific ESRB sticker sheets for you to attach them to the front of all releases without them.

It'll come in sheets of 24 stickers, 6 E stickers, 6 E 10+ stickers, 6 T stickers, and 6 M stickers.

Fun for all ages!  You get it?  ALL AGES.

Well the only potentially good thing about this, is it will force GameStop to at least aknoledge the games in their system. I was curious one day and asked the trade in value for a LRG (I hate trade ins btw, I also like to laugh at how much a rip off they offer for games.) and they said that unless the game is rated by the ESRB they will not include it in their system.

Additionally this might also increase the value of all LRG to this point.

Also most of these games are already rated, so it probably won't cost them too much more to get the rating on the game box.

In before it's OOS on Amazon and shoots up to $100 from 3rd party.
Do you think Ys VIII VIta will go lower or should I pick this up now? I was hoping for it to drop to 30 before I pick it up... but worried it may sell out. I guess I could use my credit card price protection if so.

Do you think Ys VIII will ever go lower?
That is a hard thing to guess, the problem is we have no number to go off on how many were manufactured. Another problem is we know that Ys Memories was over produced, so it stands to reason the number will be smaller the Ys:MoC. And given that the PS4 version really is the best version of the game, I would say that there are low chances for the game to drop. It might hit $29.99 by Nov, but it also might be sold out by then too. Keep in mind the vita game is worth full price imo, and with the added things on the Ps4, it is worth full price there too. (although the Ps4 version is certain to lower in price by Jan '18. And given that the PS4 pr-order price dropped to $44, that is the price point to look for.)

We know already that BB is sold out. That occurred less then 3 weeks from launch, and given that not many other retailers even ordered the games, It is very much a grab it if you can type of situation. This is probably going to be the same situation with the vita release Danganronpa v3. (except both versions are mostly the same)

I keep hearing its the best game on vita now, so I don't mind dropping 40. However every vita game has dropped to 30 except for maybe Odin Leifthrasir?

If you don't mind the price now, why not just get it? If you're on the fence because you might save a few bucks, then keep holding out. Just know you will have to pay resell prices once it's gone from retailers, then what? Don't miss out on a great game for a silly reason. If you have a budget then I get it, but if you don't then no one can help you there.

You should've bought it a few months ago when Gamestop was selling it used for sub 30 before they raised the price.

Yeah man, I thought it was going to drop about a year after release as other Atlus Vita releases had thus far done. Ended up buying a used copy from the local GameStop for sub-$50 last month, it stings.

Should have bought my copy when I was selling on our trade boards my friend.

Undertale was announced for Vita?!?
It was announced at E3, right before Sony's main press conference. The announcement trailer had really nice production values too. (at least compared to what I was expecting.)

There's an expensive CE offered there as well, and it's one of the very few Vita CE that I didn't get, as I just had zero interest in everything being offered. I just got the vanilla version, and was happy to have it. LOL
I would have been down for the soundtrack and the art book for an extra $15-20, but $39 for a gold necklace is a big no thank you. I guess they helped me save money by making it an easy decision to get the std version.

Same here, as I would have liked to have the story book included, but I already have the artbook offered on the site, so I said to hell with it. I've been getting way to many CE for the Vita lately, but at least there's a decent value to most(for me at least), but yeah, none here so it was an easy pass.

Semispheres is up on Play-asia. There is a blue cover version and an orange cover version (limited 1,000 copies for each)...

Blue: https://www.play-asia.com/semispheres-blue-cover-limited-edition-play-asiacom-exclusive/13/70bg59?tagid=1184207

Orange: https://www.play-asia.com/semispheres-orange-cover-limited-edition-play-asiacom-exclusiv/13/70bg5h

I had a reminder to look for this tomorrow, but I saw on the Vita reddit that it just went up for pre-order.
Thanks, I ordered an Orange copy because that's clearly the best color. :nottalking:

Ordered the blue copy of Semispheres with a $3 off code this morning.

I'm excited for Sir Eats Alot and Reverie releases in the future.

Tachyon Project was a nice release. I am enjoying the game so far too.

So really though, was I the only person who pre-ordered Ys Origin from Play-Asia and got sent the PS4 version? Was thinking this must have been a more widespread issue. But even looking at my order status on Play-Asia, whgich I know had been for the Vita version up until prior to it actually shipping they changed it to the worthless PS4 version, arrgh. Going to throw it on Ebay, not worth the trouble and postage costs to have to mail it back to Singapore and then have to agonize over it for the two to three weeks it would take to clear customs and get there. Does ruin the plans to gift it to one of the nephews for Christmas.

In other news, this is apparently happening according to Play-Asia. (cross fingers hoping this is for real)

Tweeg, where do I find that Vita release chart that you post sometimes? Can't see it in your Sig.

Gonna cross-check with the Asian release chart and see what I can afford to buy/import.

TIA.

Ordered one of each. Use VITAFR to save $3.
