Wait a minute. So now I shouldn't change my name? Would that be a third poll? Can this be a 3 day event? Like the baseball all star game festivities? Just as boring but without the million dollar athletes?

I dont remember it making a huge difference. But once you fully defeat the faction you go against they pretty much disappear from the game. They will be scarce but you will see a few from the faction you defeated randomly roaming the world at times. Trophy wise you should be safe. Only one that you need to focus on from the beginning to make sure you get them all is Oblivion Walker for all the artifacts. dont let them glitch on you. You could always make a save before you choose sides and leave it there just in case and progress on another save.

 
Is Don't Starve a decent game to stream if I've never played it before?  Or am I going to be super boring tutorials for the first couple hours?

Thanks for the info.

I think I fudged up already for that trophy though, will most likely have to start over. I don't mind though, it's been so long since I played it and I don't really remember where I left off.

Edit: I'll probably regret saying this but seeing that picture of Bert made me crack up

Y'all are funny. I distinctly remember lamenting Boderlands 1.5 and other games like Destiny and a lot of you seemed fine with it. Not that I'm bothered by the change of heart. But, yeah, even if I didn't have a PS4 I'm not sure I would go for the ps3 port. Guess we'll see how it fares on Thursday. I'm so sick of this trend. You can tell the PS4 version was handicapped by the cross-development.

It's one of those love/hate things. I absolutely love it! Sunk many hours into it. But I know better than to try to convince others.

It's also one of the few games (as I mentioned in another thread) I enjoy watching people stream, provided they have some commentary.

I've been excited about Destiny since before I knew it was coming and just that Bungie was working in another game. They're probably one of my favorite studios.

Huh? Your reply is so unrelated to what I wrote I had to go back and reread it, lol. I'm talking about cross-gen/last-gen ports. I remember complaining about it and it seemed like most people didn't care. Since then people have upgraded so we've had some adjustments in opinion! Lol, Im just messing around though. And obviously you, specifically, haven't changed your mind.

Just picked up God Of War 3 from Gamestop.com $4.35 shipped. Now I will finally have the entire collection... well I traded in Ascension but I finished it, so I would never play it again and I have every other game digital.

 
Looks like I wasn't lucky, no restock on Amazon for vita. Looks like I'm getting it from gamestop. Any recommendations on games for it guys?

Edit: also, 32 gig or 16 gig for memory card?

Depends on price for 16 or 32. Also don't know if you have been doing ps plus... If so uncharted, gravity rush, and strangers wrath are all good!

You have to get tearaway though! Best use of the vita to date! If you like shooters Killzone is good as well!

Just because you said you have never played an AC game in the Backlog Support Group forum you may want to look into that Assassin's Creed Liberation. Also if you like RPG's, Persona 4 Golden is supposed to be amazing. Tearaway is a blast. Avoid the Lego games, because they are all subpar ports.

All of them except that the Vita doesn't have any games. There's little worth buying in physical form since everything eventually goes cheaper on PSN and 90% of the imaginary longings of Vita owners are on there. Which leads to...

64GB. 32GB if you're going to settle and not wait three weeks for one to get here from Japan. Don't go any smaller, you'll regret it like everyone else.

Just remember that you want it big when it comes to things you're sticking in your pants.

To be fair, I had to read your post a couple of times to understand what you were getting at.

And going back to Don't Starve, I enjoyed it a lot at first but permadeath on a game like that just drags things out and makes it monotonous. Pretty light on gameplay so it ends up just being a thinking mans game (nothing wrong with that) but it started feeling like a huge chore just to build myself back up to where I last died.

32GB is more than enough to have a good chunk of games at once. If you are a digital hoarder and need to have everything at once for no apparent reason get the 64GB. Otherwise you can just erase games and put others as you go. 32GB is plenty. I have like 15-20 retail games stored.

Also I would just rent Tearaway. Its so short and has no replay value.

Ill echo this statement Ive said countless times. I prefer the Vita Ports of lego games. So much better and straight to the point. They get rid of the open world hubs but really who cares about them? Who in their right mind drives around lego gotham for hours and beats up people? There is no point to open world lego hubs. Thats all thats missing from the Vita versions. Honestly most people who tell you they suck on vita just relay the message from others who dont know what they are talking about. Ive beaten all of them on Vita but Lego Hobbit. Still need that one.

Got some Towerfall Ascension on with the buddies. Man that game can get intense.

I don't think the compromise in Destiny is a big deal, until they unveil the next iteration of it. Let's enjoy the game as it is. That said, getting the PS3/360 version=  :puke:

True. I have never played one but enough people have said that they suck I figured it was a fair warning. Would you say that she should put a priority on them if she enjoyed the lego series? Also Quinoa... if you do get a smaller mem card and you end up having to delete a game from your Vita...remember that it also deletes your save data for that game, so always upload it the cloud (if you have plus)
