Sounds about right. My sleep schedule has been screwed up for a week or two now, which would explain the random cold and general terrible feeling. Gotta get that sorted out somehow, though it's been an issue pretty much my whole life (to varying degrees of severity).

You could just do nothing to their name. It's not bringing any extra attention to it and it never did.

On the other hand, you could stop giving a shit about what anonymous posters on the Internet say about stupid shit like putting an extra character in front of someone's name, regardless of how useless it is.

Oh. Well sorry for the essay, lol. When you finish with one of the co-op missions, post back about whether it separated you from your partners. I'm trying to figure out if it only happened to me. It could've been by design since these also serve as the campaign. Just weird since the Alpha didn't do it.

Are you ever going to reveal your true identity? Now that the great migration has occurred it seems as good a time as any. The way you carry on with captain makes it unlikely it's him, though that was my first suspicion. You did post a link to Complex which raised a flag but who knows.

I'm not sweating the '@' thing. Though I can relate to being annoyed with people who have obnoxious forum habits. There's one dude I know who posts 'PEACE' at the end of every post and I just ignore him now. Another, no lie, who titles each of their posts like it's a fucking term paper. So I just didn't want to be that guy. Like I said before I simply use @ to point out the mention. It always sticks out to me when someone mentions or replies to my handle so figured it was the same for others. Apparently not.

Haha, he acted like it came out on Tues. My favorite line he said was I'll take it easy on you just play a game. I hope he's playing next time since we made a good impression.
 
Just finished the Outlast DLC. It was fun, but not as good as the original game. Considering the original game was free from PS+, I am happy to give Red Barrel a little extra support since the DLC was $8.99. I would suggest waiting though for you cheap asses.  I would say $5 is a good price, but $8.99 for about 3 hours of gameplay that isn't mind blowing is quite a steep amount for this crowd. There are however some pretty fucked up things that happen in this game so if you are into that, this may be what you want.

I'll probably just play Destiny enough to get me in on any possibility of cool stuff being given to beta folks like avatars/in game items. I don't want to put a bunch of time in, only to have nothing transfer to the main game.

After about 45 minutes with it, I was sort of over it. I just wanted to get back to Backlog grinding. Too many other games I want to play instead of spending time with with Destiny. I was hyped on the Beta because it might have been a game that I would want to pick up and get into, but so far no thanks. I most likely am not giving it the chance it deserves, but really what am I going to do. Play it to the level cap, get in a clan or a firefighting group and then stick it with every xpac/ DLC... no thanks. Good luck to Bungie and Sony / Activision or whoever is publishing it, but after a bit of time it is another MMO / time sink and after 4 years of WoW, fuck that. The fact that I would have to start over is a bit rough too. This may not be the deciding factor, but having to start from square one sounds horrible. MMO's are great because you have a game you love and can play and don't have to worry about other games, but I need a bit of variety. I have so many games of different genres that I always feel like I am playing some fresh. I really hope other people get into Destiny and play it forever, but with the leveling, questing and grouping, I think I am okay passing on this title.

Also would like to note that 45 minutes is hardly enough to judge a game, but I am not down with MMOs anymore or any games that make me feel like I am playing an MMO (except for Kingdom's of Amalur,) Anyway back to the backlog of 80-100 games I already own. TO completely make a hypocrite of myself...god dammit I can't wait for Diablo 3 Ultimate Reaper Souls Left Right Upside Down Don't Forget to Call Your Mother Edition comes out! At least I know I will actually have friends to play that game with.

I totally hear you. I've been awful at MMOs, I think I've tried them all at one point or another. I hate subscription fees, because they make me feel guilty for playing anything else. And F2P games always suck unless you're spending hundreds on their god damn microtransactions. But as I've already said a few times, Bungie is one of my favorite developers, so anything they put out I'd play. And everything I've seen from the game so far (haven't played it yet though) just screams Borderlands + Halo to me, which is enough to make me jizz in my pants a little.

On the other hand, there is the backlog you speak of. Right now, I'm down to about 14-15 physical games, but most of them are RPGs that will take me a few hours each. I only have a couple games I've bought through gamesharing, and then the millions upon millions of games from PS Plus. Unfortunately for me, I'm not just into finishing games...if there's a platinum, I have to try and go for it. About a year ago though, when I decided I need to clear the backlog to get a PS4, I decided I'm going to stop with ridiculous trophies that just make me hate myself. For that reason, I'm never going to play Max Payne 3, or play RDR again (already played on 360, didn't like it, only got it on PS3 for the plat). I might be done with GTA V, and just pick it up when I get a PS4, assuming online progress transfers like it should. But unless the MP in a game is fun, or I'm playing with people I like (Bioshock 2 for example), then I'm just cutting it out.

 
Guys, we're doing awesome on the climb to become the most liked thread on CAG. Right now, we're just slightly behind a bunch of lame threads like an old black friday thread, and some stupid thing about kids with cancer. Spread the word so we can kick those kids with cancer right in the teeth and set our sights on the free stuff threads.

One of my roommates was awfully nasty so I think that may have played some part. But mostly it was my lifestyle. Not enough sleep. Biggest culprit. And shitty diet. Hell, I hardly ever drank water. I changed those two things, in the process of becoming a hipster, and everything turned around. Hardly catch them anymore. Even when people around me have one. It's crazy. Cliched advice but the shit worked.

@breakfuss, this is solid advice. But some of us just have great immune systems as I get sick maybe once a year if that and I eat like shit, drink a ton of alcohol and carbonated beverages. Very little straight water.

BTW, I just voted the star rating for this thread. I didnt even know such a thing existed! And I went ahead and liked the extra OP posts even though I had liked the main or first OP post long ago.

I downloaded the PS3 version as well as the PS4 version. I didn't get a chance to play the PS3 verison but the download is less then 1/3 the size of the PS4. I think it is going to look pretty crappy on PS3. 4.67GB vs 15GB. Maybe the PS4 version is further along or something but it wouldn't shock me if the PS3/XBox360 versions look pretty lame compared to PS4/XBox One. Guess we will see in a couple months.

I just watched this Spring Breakers movie and holy shit was it dumb. I can't believe I stuck it out through the whole thing. I think it's mostly because I was partly distracted by the boobs. If that movie had no boobs, it would be the worst movie ever.

 
Anyone else have problems with the PS3 beta download yesterday? I had it fail on me several times last night, then woke up today to about 7 copies all installed this morning...

Thanks for liking the OP.

I did not have any issues, other than it taking a long time to download. I stayed up to make sure it finished, and then set my system to auto off after 2 hours, and let it install on it's own while I went to bed. When I woke up it was neatly installed as one file. If you have multiple copies, I would assume you could delete the extras.

I finished the Water Temple. That end boss was lame. On to victory over this game!

I started downloading the Destiny Beta (or some of it) but played some Trine 2 instead since I didn't have much time to play after kicking the Water Temple's ass. That game is seriously fuck ed up! It's super pretty to look at, but under the hood it's jank as hell. It's odd though I keep playing it from time to time just so I can watch in amazement as I twerk my way to the next area.

Does anyone know if it is possible to view all the game saves in PSN/PS+?  

I carried my Walking Dead Season 1 from my PS3 over to my Vita a few months ago but was hoping my cloud save was still there as I ended up buying the Walking Dead Season 2 on PS3.  So I would like to restore (I am 90% sure I made one) my cloud save back to my PS3 but I don't have the Season 1 disc anymore.  Is that required for bring cloud saves back over?  

If so I can rent a copy at my local Redbox.  Just curious if there was a good way and definitive way to view what is in your cloud saves.

You can view your cloud saves on PS3 under online storage in the saves area.

And that will show everything for Vita/PS3 and PS4 even if I don't have the game anymore? A few things seem to be missing so I wasn't sure if they weren't showing up because I didn't have the game installed anymore (different PS3) or maybe I really didn't cloud save some of the games I thought I did.
