Alright, fine. I started up the download on my PS3 and the size specifically says 2977 MB, so I don't know what else you want me to do to prove to you that that's the actual size as it's stated everywhere else. I guess if you still don't believe me, we can defer to somebody who has downloaded it onto their Vita.

Can anyone talk about the quality of Music Unlimited? Extremely tempted at $12, especially if I can stream on my iPhone but don't want to buy it and realize that the selection is shit etc.

If you look at the post I edited earlier, I'm actually downloading the game on my Vita right now and there's a patch/update that pushes the game over 3GB.

EDIT: And the only reason I'm even really nitpicking about this is that memory is precious on the Vita and while I had just over 3GB, it still wouldn't let me download the game.

Anyone else try Music Unlimited and have it fail miserably? Can't connect to the server on either my PS3 or iPhone, and if I try to login to the website, it's defaulting to Japanese, and not speaking Japanese, I can't figure out how to change it.

Doesn't Music Unlimited come with a 60 day free trial? It did at least before it was on sale for $12. Might be worth checking out if you're on the fence if it's still available.

I don't think they take updates into account for game sizes since that changes over time.

I think you can browse the library here to see what's there.
I don't think they take updates into account for game sizes since that changes over time.
I didn't either but I just assumed that it might be different for Vita games as it was the only thing that made sense to me.

Damn I'm out of memory on my 16 GB vita memory card. Looks like Sony is gonna get me to buy the 32 GB card after all. Just need to find one for a decent price.

Wtf? Is it just me or is Jet Set Radio for Vita broken? For tutorial and regular game, a menu or something keeps popping up.:bomb:

Reboot the Vita and try it again.

Ok this is how it works
you download 3GB game and you have to update Uncharted (around 300 mb)
so I guesses if you install the full game it is 3.3 gb ish.

I think my issue may have been related to AdBlock, or else Music Unlimited was just having issues. Ended up logging in with IE, then I turned off AB on Chrome, and now everything's fine on all devices.
Wtf? Is it just me or is Jet Set Radio for Vita broken? For tutorial and regular game, a menu or something keeps popping up.:bomb:
I had same problem
I restarted the game and its no longer bothering me
Are any of the downloadable PSP/Vita games playable on PS3?
Nope. Minis are the only PSP games playable on the PS3.

I think Music Unlimited is just having issues. Probably a few people purchased it or got the free trial and the servers weren't prepared...maybe. I had it error on my phone a couple of times tonight. But when it played, the quality was very good. As far as selection, they had everything I looked up so far. I did my old faithful check though...if my band was on it, then they have a lot of stuff...lol. And I typed it Scars of Life (my band), and two of our albums came up...so I am going to go ahead and say they have a nice selection. *cough* You should all do the Scars of Life check too *cough* ;)
I see Persona 3 is still under the current deals section. Is that actually no longer the case? It's showing up as $19.99 in store. :whistle2:(
Haven't had a chance to update the OP yet.
Ok I have a ps3 but no psp or vita...can I purchase the free vita games from my Ps3 and transfer them to my vita whenever I get one?
Yep.

Ok, gotta vent. So I have 2 ps3s in the house, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. I downloaded walking dead episode 5 in the living room so I could play it after my son goes to sleep upstairs and the wife is chilling in the bedroom. So I realize that I played episode 4 on the bedroom PS3 and I need my saved game to continue. No problem, I'll copy it to the cloud and download it in the living room.

Only you can't download the saved game within 24 hours of uploading it. Ok, I'll copy it to a thumb drive, only my thumb drive is NTFS and I have stuff on it I don't want to delete. No problem I think, I have a fat32 hard drive I'll copy it to, but OH NO, the save is copy protected and you can't copy it to a flash drive.

Really pissed at this point I decide to swap PS3s but of course the living room is a slim and the bedroom is a fat, so I have to swap powe cables in an entertainment center and wind up finding a big-ass extension cable instead.

So I load up the game and realize that episode 5 was downloaded on the other goddamn system and now I have to re-download it on this one.

So I just typed this all up on my phone while waiting for episode 5 to download and install and now I'm gonna play the fucking thing.

Grrrrr!
Sine Mora is pretty bad ass.
Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack is also excellent. It just feels much better than the original on the PS3, which I actually enjoyed quite a bit as well!

Those with IOS devices note that there's no offline mode playback.

That feature is only supported on the Vita and other Android devices. Selection seems okay, and trying it, so I don't have to listen to my wife's Pandora repeat selection (fake channels) everytime she listens to music.

I'm kind of late to the party with the newfound Vita love but, really, what an extra awesome value PS+ just became with the new Vita support at no extra cost. I went from very tepid interest in picking up a Vita to now planning to pick up a bundle on Friday from Amazon.

It's essentially paying $200 for an unlimited amount of future content and great existing Vita titles as I already would have continued my PS+ subscription indefinitely for the PS3 alone. I don't really plan on shelling out what I view as outrageous portable retail prices so my investment with the system would pretty much be done but I'd eventually get to play a bunch of games.

I was tempted by Music Unlimited for the great price but no offline mode on iOS? Thanks for the heads-up. That's a deal breaker to me.

The store says sonic bundle is unavailable for me to download because I already own sonic 2? That's terrible. Anyone else have this issue?

Does anyone know if any of that Disgaea 4 stuff is worthwhile? I haven't even opened the damn thing but I don't want to miss out on anything good. They have characters for sale? Seems weird.
Sony!!! We want the old PS Store back!!!
I agree, this new one is fucking horrible to try and navigate when it chugs along trying to load all the pics and graphics.

This whole post made me LOL. I agree. I hate the 24 hour requirement. Should be lifted in the case of copyright protected games.

And Episode 5 rocked.

Is $21.99 a decent price to pay for an 8gb Vita Memory card? Or can it be had for cheaper?

I know I should go bigger, but the 16gb and 32gb are so expensive. So I figured with an 8gb and the 4gb I got in my bundle, I'd be okay for now.

You may be able to find one on clearance at SEARS. They were 9.97, I believe.

Wow. I never had luck trying to find YMMV clearance sales, but that's a great price. Thanks.

The 8GB runs out so fast. It's getting annoying having to wait for a price drop and having to delete games to download games and make room. I wasn't planning on buying a 32gb anytime soon but with PS+ I don't know how much longer I can stand micromanaging my data.
You may be able to find one on clearance at SEARS. They were 9.97, I believe.
that's quite a crazy price.

No doubt that PS+ is a game-changer for a lot of people. The announcement that it was coming spurred my decision to pull the trigger on the deal I found on Craigslist, and I'm really glad I did. $200 for a new system with a game is quite decent for the holiday buys, although you'll need a bigger memory card to really take advantage of having PS+.
I'd say the price is very decent, but you should no doubt go bigger. If you add up all the free games in the Vita's IGC, 8GB is just BARELY enough for those games alone.

Since you're in the market for a memory card anyway, I'd just bite the bullet and buy the 16GB. Then maybe flip the 4GB to recoup some of the cost.
So for how long are the Vita games going to be available for free? Until next tuesday or is it longer than that?
Longer.
