Here are the movies i saw on the list of welcome back video rentals available for the weekend: Ghostbusters, Final Fantasy: The spirits within, and Bad Boys
 
Nice, got my free games. I think I'll wait on activating PS+ though, see if better free games/deals come out. Are the free games/deals per month or do they update their deals midway through the month as well?
 
I hope my US account and UK account can both get games. Ratcher & Clank: Quest for Booty is on the UK Welcome Back program.

Regardless, I am definately getting Super Stardust HD and Wipeout HD + Fury expansion!



I cannot log on right now- Wipeout HD comes with Fury, right?!
 
selected one of my PSP games, Little Big Planet, now I'm just going to wait until later today or tomorrow to select my two PS3 games and other PSP game...has anyone played Dead Nation?

Dead Nation is awesome! It is best played co-op with someone else (2 is max). Very fun and georgeous game!
 
Can we download the PSP games off of our PS3? I have a PSP but no wifi so I have to download all my stuff on the PS3. I would check myself, but I'm not near my PS3 to try.

Yes, but I just used the Media Go program at work to access the store and start downloading them. Transfers over USB.

Haha don't get your panties in such a bunch. Lots of people are hammering their servers. Just because you can't get your games immediately doesn't mean you should throw a hissy fit. Also XBL was down for a quite a while (almost two weeks of their servers being overloaded) during I think it was the '07 Christmas season before they Undertow.

Just calm down, take a deep breath and everything will be all right. You have a month to get your games.

P.S. My personal information that was leaked was publicly available. Don't know about other people but I own a house so that means I am in my county's public housing records.

I missed out on Might and Magic, so Im thinking of rolling the dice and hoping a new batch of deals comes up.

Dont they change deals every two weeks or something like that?
 
Lol, i chose infamous from one list and wipeout from the other. added both to cart, went to checkout, error. Now I don't have either game and the game 1 and game 2 selections are gone from the welcome back page.

So I checked the download list tied to my account, and the games aren't there either.

I can't believe this f u c k i n g b u l l s h i t

Yup. This was the first reason to turn on my PS3 in 3 months and after plugging in my controller since the battery was dead I tried to get a game and got the same results.

Eat a dick Sony. How can you continue to suck so hard?

To those wondering what happened to the PlayStation Plus 50% discount for Red Johnson's Chronicles:

Contrary to Sony Europe, Sony US can't make the difference between the Plus members who subscribed before the outage and those who joined via the welcome program. Hence, the discount that we, Lexis, offer to the Plus members, is virtually a discount to ALL US players as the can join the Plus program for free.

Hence, we decided to offer to 25% to all US players as we technically can't offer a 50% to the original Plus members. We are totally dependent on Sony for that.

I guess ill have to check youtube videos on infamous, dead nation and wipeout hd to see which of the 2 i want. already own lbp.

They get added to your account so since they already said previous PSN games would transfer you should be good.

the two free games you pick (out of the 5) are yours forever. however the free games you download from ps+ are only valid for 30 days (unless you keep paying for a ps+ membership). but if you buy games from ps+ those are yours to keep forever.

This is answered in the FAQ in the OP, so everybody here should check that first before asking questions:

Q: Do I get to keep the games in PlayStation Plus forever?
A: Content that is free in PlayStation Plus will not be available after your PlayStation Plus time has expired. However, if you decide to join PlayStation Plus, you’ll have access to all of the content you downloaded during your 30 day access for as long as you are a subscriber.

Q: Do I get to keep any games or content I purchased with the PlayStation Plus discount?
A: Yes. Any content you purchase at a discount is yours to keep, regardless of your subscription status.

Q: Are there any limitations to the PS3 and PSP games we are receiving as part of the Welcome Back Program?
A: None. These games are yours to keep.

This fucking blows. The servers are having problems and to make it worse I clicked Get Now but it said I couldn't redeem anything at this time. But when it goes back to the welcome back screen it takes away the links.
 
If you're having an issue with the free game choice disappearing after an error, just go to Account Management on the XMB to make your picks:

Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List > SCEA Promotion

You haven't lost anything.

I don't see where it says the NGP plays PSP games. Info on the NGP has been scant so I was hoping someone in this thread would know.

Once you chose a game, it removes that option. Did you chose two games already? My games didn't show but when I backed out to xmb, it showed them waiting for dl.

You need all of it. Fury is just an add-on for the base game.
