Luckily with all of those (Coincidentally I own them all but Marble Blast Ultra), Sony lets us still download them since we purchased them.

I remember how I got X-men and Simpsons, they were delisted.. but the digital code was STILL sold on Gamestop.com, so I bought them and had access to them.

Physical is no more reliable than digital at this point because they can make disc based games online only. If the disc version doesn't require you to be online, then the digital version isn't either and taking your system offline will ensure you have your games forever just the same.

I don't think there's any example of a delisted PSN game that can no longer be re-downloaded... at least for games that were purchased. There are a few demos and free-to-play games that were delisted and had the re-download option taken away. Fat Princess: Piece of Cake was a free download for Vita (w/micro-transactions) that was delisted and I think it was removed from re-download. You can still play as long as it's still installed on your system though. Also... PlayStation Mobile.

Ack, I forgot that PT was a special case of not being re-downloadable, even if you already had it.

I was generally referring to availability, not re-downloadability.  I'd love to play Scott Pilgrim, but because I didn't buy it when it was available, that door is completely closed to me (unless GS still sells the codes).  My point was that I can still play N64 games I never bothered with back in the day because there's a secondary market.  Not so with digital-only titles.

Afro Samurai 2 is the only paid game that was fully removed from all download lists. It was so bad few people bought it, so they couldn't finish the other episodes people paid for and instead refunded everybody's money. Some people were still mad about that.

speaking of psn credit has anyone received the $15 from spending $100 late Feb? I think the terms said they were going to be rolled out at around this time. I can search my email for the estimated dates if you don't happen to remember off hand

If you want to get technical, yes. However, not to the extreme of digital licenses. The game companies aren't going to come knocking on your door and snatch your physical copy away from you, but they can stop you from playing a digital copy.
