Laser Disco Defenders is indeed hard. I bought it at launch and played it a bunch. Its a rogue like bullet shooter with four playable character that all play a little different. The main thing that makes the game difficult is once you shoot your bullets they remain on the screen and bounce off the walls. So you have to avoid your shots and the enemies. I've only been able to finish the game with one of the four characters. Its a very neat concept.

Type:Rider is an cool little game. I'm a graphic designer and I really enjoyed the history of fonts that game presents. I bought it that last time it was one sale. It is a decent game but an excellent history lesson.

I'm looking forward to playing Abzu since I passed on buying it multiple times.

I doubt I'm the only one who paid <$4 for Tales from the Borderlands last year, so I'm just disappointed Sony went with a game that was that cheap in the past instead of something else.

I believe I bought it back when it was $5 the first sale around, but holy crap I had forgotten they had dropped it down to $1.49. There really wasn't an excuse not to buy it at that price so people will either have already bought it or have little to no interest in Telltale stuff. Not the first time a super cheap game went to PS+ and won't be the last. It's a good game, all the same, but just remind me to never buy a Telltale game for over $5.

The only negative thing I'll say about the indies we get from PS+ is that sometimes it seems the day 1 releases we get are of questionable quality. Don't know if they just get stuck having to release earlier than they should to fill that PS+ slot or what it is, but there's definitely been a few duds. Been a long time since Rocket League.

I won't bitch about the price of PS+ since I'm sure I'm getting my money's worth through sale discounts alone as well as the couple free games that I do play (and the few times I actually play online games.)

The game is the best Diablo clone I ever played, but I'm also a pretty big Marvel fan. It was made by David Brevik, who also made D1 and D2. He left the company a year or so ago and they fairly recently revamped the game on PC. The revamp had a lot of negative reactions and I actually haven't played it since the revamp, but I bet even with the revamp the game is at least worth a few hours of play. I never got hardcore into the game, basically never getting into any of the endgame stuff but it's my second most played game on Steam at over 300 hours.

I hate that I bit on SFV Deluxe a while back. The 2017 season pass is always full price alone, but if you don't own SFV you can get the bundle that includes it and the year 1 DLC for $10 more than I paid for SFV Deluxe. Don't spend a dime on this game. Especially since all you really get is a month of closed beta access.

I was really looking forward to this as I love D3. I've read mostly positive reviews of the PC version from players. People who got into the closed beta a bit earlier than I did were saying this was even better than the PC version. As it stands right now the game is nearly unplayable. I don't want to erect a wall of text so here's a few bullet points.

*Not optimized for console: Smal text, no controller mapping, difficult to navigate menus
*Lag: Everything you do causes the game to lag (spawning loot, picking up loot, using moves)
*Abusive Economy: Every hero costs $20. Yes you can grind but you're looking at a 20-60 hour grind per character
*Thanks for nothing, Gazillionaire: Community manager ducked up and stated War Machine would be free for PS+ subscribers. Not only he is he not but the only way for me to unlock him is to buy the $18 PS+ pack. Can't grind
*Loot system is boring: Enjoy sorting through 20 Spider-man masks all named the same thing
*Powers non-intuitive: Hard to explain here but all powers have keywords that will require you switching between menus to see what power is affected by what equipment stat

Really let down by this game and I'm not sure why people like it so much. I'd rather buy a second copy of D3 than give this game any more money. Definitely give it go when it launches but don't pay for the closed beta. I post about once a year that's how letdown I was by this game.

Yeah, the text is small for like half of the game, I'll give you that. And the loot system is kind of how you described (I don't know if I'd use the term "boring" though).

However, I haven't hit lag in the way you explained, heroes are like $10, not 20, and you can probably grind for War Machine when his exclusivity window is up in 6 months. I think the costumes are overpriced, though.

I'm enjoying the game so far, much more than the PC release. Couch co-op is a huge plus. My biggest gripe is having to wait for the characters I want (some of the villains) to be released, and then go on sale so I can buy them, haha.

Depending on price I could see myself picking up the Atelier games or Superbeat Xonic.

Holding out on a PS2-to-PS4 release of the Suikoden games. (Or a PC release of Catherine. Makes me a little jealous of that Xbox backwards compatibility since Catherine is one of the games I want to go back and replay without hooking up an old system.)

Lost Dimension was a little clunky but being turn based it never bothered me too much. Would probably be a good purchase for fans of the genre if the price is right. Decent replayability due to the way the game is set up.
