I'm pretty sure that should say Tales of Hearts R for Vita.

Also, the link to the full update in the OP is currently broken.
it should obviously thats either what the poster wishes graces played like or thinks it is basically graces but better. cast wise they are pretty samey sadly. Minus beryl and richard. More games should have blonds like them. They really are more fun.

For those that picked up the Helldivers DSB ed., does the store allow you to purchase the Super-Earth Ultimate ed., or is it 'Unavailable'? Already planned to buy the Ultimate when it dropped low enough, would like to know if that will still be an option later.

No, the PS Store generally tries to keep you from purchasing a game multiple times, so grabbing the base game for PS+ blocks you from getting the Ultimate Edition later on. If you're sure about wanting that version, then don't touch the base game. The one alternate option is to keep an eye out for a sale on the UE and hope Amazon matches it on their end, which should get you all of the DLC you're missing.

Despite being out for nearly a year at this point, it has yet to get a sale since they've opted for these relaunched bundles with a few DLC packs over a price drop.

if its an option, the super earth ultimate is a dlc slip in the physical version, i got the ps+ version then put the code in for all the dlc. of course, this worked great for me because i paid $15 for the physical version then traded in back in for $16, but its something to keep in mind if the physical version goes on sale cheap somewhere.

Yeah, I know that it generally worked like that but I believe I've seen some exceptions to that, though I could be wrong. Hoped this may have been an exception.

Not even sure if the DLC is necessary or adds anything significant. Any opinions?

Cool. That will do it. I almost bit on it for $20 on black friday but I figured it this game would be better digital. Thought it was a disc, not a code (or is it just the DLC is a code?). Duh

Anyway, thanks.

...
Thanks. I figured that was the case. I was planning on buying the Ultimate for about $15 or less, not just the DLC for about the same price. Lately we have seen Ultimate/GOTY/Complete editions going on sale more often and for higher discounts than DLC. Though this here sale contradicts that. Just thought in the future more likely to see discounts on the Ultimate vs. DLC.

But I'll shut up now and just get the + version.

Anyone who had the retail version of Helldivers find that they lost their progress when they redownloaded it with PS+? I deleted the game itself to get the digital version but did not delete the save. Went to online storage and it wasn't there either despite having auto upload on.

Not the end of the world as I can just replay, but annoying.

Only thing I can think is that they're considered different games on PSN.

Anyone know if Crypt of the Necrodancer works on PS TV?  Just curious and can't seem to find the answer (someone asked it in the comments in the developer's announcement post on the PS blog, but the developer didn't answer that one).

Hmm...also trying to figure out if I still have the DLC.

Edit: Nevermind. Restarted the game and somehow it loaded my progress again. Odd, but it's there along with everything else.

Finally got rockband and sleeping dogs definite edition cause of the sale and after using the 20% off code that came with the ps4 it was 40.xx .not bad. Only thing is that there is no online multiplayer for rockband 4... Anyone know if it will be added like in guitar here live?

Finally a great price for Xillia 2. Would get Symphonia if I didn't already have the Cube and PC versions (just hope modding will fix it and add 60fps and 4k support, otherwise Dolphin will be the best way to play).

I am liking it thus far. It's got some humor to it as well. I played an hour or so today, but I think I'm still in the tutorial. It let's you roam free a bit then if you find upgrades (then die) it's a tutorial bit to explain the new features.

Each galaxy you get enough fuel to make a lightyear jump closer to your homeworld. It hasn't been too difficult thus far but I only just recently unlocked the air lock.

They have 2 7 minute gameplay videos on their site.

The hats weigh you down on planets with low gravity. I threw the hat off and almost died instantly with my first spacewalk jump due to the low gravity, this of course immediately after getting a warning :) controls are good and responsive.
My only complaint is some of the on screen text is way too small with no way to adjust it. If you have a big tv though it's probably going to be fine for you. I had to move closer and start squinting :(

It defiantly reminded me of Cosmochoria (in a good way) but with a space ship. Though Cosmochoria is more arcadey. Would be great to get that one on ps4 too.

DA:Inquisition GOTY = On Sale $24

All DLC not on sale = $60

This generation literally shits all over early/semi-early adopters. Like they literally do not want money. im sure many who already have the game would buy the dlc if it went on sale. Ah well, ill keep my vanilla copy and save the money.

Thanks EA.

my sentiments exactly

Don't play post game of Etrian Odyssey, lol.
I remember being aggravated at times playing those. I had more patience then and less of a backlog so wasting 2 hours on a game without making any progress didn't bother me as much. And I'm fairly positive I'll finish DT2, just got annoyed with it atm.

Rainbow Moon will be out for PS4 on 2/16 for $14.99 with a special 50% off discount for owners of the other versions. The new version has updated dialog, faster load times, and Cross Save support with the other versions. The game has reached one million purchases across the PS3 and Vita worldwide, which is good for that sort of low key game.
I need to get back to this game. Need to play some and see if I feel getting back into it before I pay to have it on PS4.
The sequel seems like it will be quite a bit better, hopefully. I wish the games had a more appealing artstyle, I don't like it.

ToZ hmm hard choice right there. Considering I want the physical version. As well as I don't need no more games right now because of backlog. Still gotta use that 20% discount code. Hmmmmmmm

does anyone know if the tactics ever got fixed in Dragon Age?

From what I recall, it was a clunky mess. I got the game around release.

I feel the same. I would rather have the DLC on sale as well. I still have my vanilla copy and have yet to finish it.

When I get DA I played the hell out of it and traded it in ASAP, mainly because games like Dragon Age, Mass Effect do not hold their value really well. This GOTY edition will be $8 sooner or later.

Not bragging, just sharing wisdom with games made by people like EA.

Yup I am close to finishing this game....and yet I have lost all desire. Dunno what it is, but I expected much more from videos online and what not. The combat at some point just bore me to death sadly.

Is J-Start Victory for the PS4 any good?

Ah but a real Cag would avoid buying games at launch in the first place or would have learned sometime last gen that this is how it goes. These specific publishers and devs tend to do this every single game. But even in the case where you can't resist getting a game at launch for whatever reason, the pattern should be well established to buy, play, and trade the game in as short a time as possible. Or even just rent it knowing a more complete version will come later for most anything that has any kind of season pass.

Keep in mind, I feel the same way as you about how early adopters are treated... but in most cases this is how gaming has been for a long time. Same for buying a game at launch (even 20% off) only for it to be 50% off in a few months and then 75% off within the first year.

IDK. There are some games that I must buy at launch. I'm the biggest fan of DA:O and destroyed that game on insane difficulty. Was really excited about Inquisition because they said they were bringing back tactics, which turned out to be a 100% lie. Combat is so boring indeed. Got it at launch because it looked really awesome and there wasn't much on PS4 at the time.

I'm getting Fire Emblem, Dark Souls III and Bravely Second all at launch. Those are games I must have immediately

GCU also makes it easier.

I rarely buy at launch but when I do it's because I don't mind paying full price or whatever because I love the series that much... and more so if it's like Fire Emblem Fates where there's only one version of the game with all 3 parts on the same cartridge and it sells out pretty fast. My year so far for new release purchases... FE Fates SE, Dragon Quest VII, Dragon Quest VIII. I'll get Bravely Second, Mega Man Legacy Collection, Attack on Titan, The Walking Dead Michonne sometime after launch... and most everything else, eh... I can wait and decide later when cheap or after I learn more.

Sounds like it costs $24 to get all of the non-Platinum DLC if that's what you want. That is unless this release isn't just a bundle of the base game and the DLC, so you could just download the DLC for the base physical/digital version that you might have.

Currently looking at the following:

PS4

Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment $4.99

Vita

Sword Art Online -Hollow Fragment- $7.99 (one or the other; don't know if it's worth an extra $3 for portability)

Dungeon Travelers 2 $19.99

One Piece Unlimited World Red $4.99

I'm not anti anime but don't watch anime. With that said, the games look fun and I know most of the Vita stuff is going to be anime related nowadays. Any of these stand out as worth the price?
If you have a PS4, don't bother with the vita version. PS4 looks better, has a better translation, and is cheaper. Literally no reason to go vita. Also vita version is not going to get an improved english patch otherwise they would have done it by now. Vita users get shafted once again.

Dungeon travelers, I would only recommend if you like 1st person dungeon crawlers and/or fanservice. If you like neither of those things, then skip it.

Man I am tempted by that Mass Effect 3 DLC, as I have all three games in the trilogy on my PS3 but haven't started any of them yet.  I know that even EA has said that we should't hold our breath for a ME Trilogy remaster for PS4 (which would presumably contain all released DLC), but I just don't know if they will be able to resist releasing a remaster to hype Andromeda.

And am I understanding correctly that the ME 3 Collector's Edition just contained the From Ashes DLC?  None of the other packs that are on sale this week?

I'm picking up the Amalur DLC, though (another game I own but haven't started), since for obvious reasons that game unfortunately isn't getting a remaster any time soon.

So I'm finally getting around to signing up for PS+ - is there any benefit to waiting to sign up until closer to the end of the month?  I guess that since I only have access to the PS+ games while my sub is up and running, it doesn't matter if I get access to the games next february or not, unless there's something I'm not thinking of?

Just thought I'd ask any see if anyone had any suggestions.

Other than getting next February's PS+ games, there's not a real benefit. And even if you get next February's PS+ offering and let it lapse the next day, it'll be available to you when you re-up again.

tl;dr: I'd wait.

How is "Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth"?

I've yet to find any information on it, and the woman at Gamestop (Who was selling it to another customer) didn't know if the spoken dialogue was in Japanese or English, and now I am curious as well.

All the early reviews were positive, to the point that I am interested in it now, but I think those might have been for import versions. Not sure on the dialogue, and I really don't want to buy it at full price. Also, not sure if I want it on PS4 or Vita, although I would be more likely to play it on the Vita.
