Here is the broken puzzle 3 from Sketchcross.

http://imgur.com/a/Ejq0z

You'll see in the first pic there is no logical way to deduce what to fill in next. And in the second pic one possible solution is not recognized as correct in the game.
The title of the puzzle gives away the answer to fill in. You know, a dog. Just make a tail and a straight leg.

Yup. Definitely not truly 'solvable' on it's own, but the clue does make it solvable. I don't know if that counts or not, but it's enough for me to forgive them on that -one- puzzle.

I already bought it either way so no going back.

First week haul:
Game of Thrones(Telltale)
Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy
Super Stardust Ultra
Tales from the Borderlands
The Misadventures of Tron Bonne

Might get Tales of Hearts and HDN Rebirth 2 but expect to see them on sale again before I'd play em' so will likely wait and see what the other weeks bring.

Damn i almost never buy digital but thats balls cheap for Tales from the Borderlands. Is there a pysical copy in the works at all for this? I wanted to pick one up but for $3 i may just get the digital one. Especially after hearing about the physical Game of Thrones disk not actually having all the chapters on it for some reason

Anyone have a good guess when res evil zero will be available for preorder? I already have res evil one I bought from psn so I'm not interested in preordering that physical double pack coming out

have FFVII, Prismatic Solid and Tron Bonne lined up for this week... Trying to get a little more out of this if I can still buy a 20% off code

Don't know if this was mentioned already, but PSN is offering a Buy one, get one free on select games.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/12/10/sony-launches-buy-one-get-one-free-sale-on-playstation-store?utm_source=IGN%20hub%20page&utm_medium=IGN%20(front%20page)&utm_content=4&utm_campaign=Blogroll

This is kinda surprinsing, never have i seen a BOGO on digital psn.
Are we sure that's not UK since the story mentions the PSN UK sale? It also doesn't work on the NA one nor does the link in the story work.

That's the UK sale:

http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2015/12/10/buy-one-game-get-one-free-on-selected-titles-on-playstation-store/?emcid=social_20151210_56182156&adbid=674936629438504960&adbpl=tw&adbpr=36969785

Very typical, seeing as how Europe usually tends to get different (and better) sales and offers.

If you read that offer it's a terrible deal considering how marked up the games are in price. I think this is one case where we clearly have a much better sale in the US PSN store.

Thanks for this link. I wasn't going to complain, but decided to try the chat while I did some work and was surprised how quickly I was able to get a $5 pity credit for my Tales From the Borderlands purchase experience of only getting a really good deal of $7.50 instead of a great deal at $3.75. I assume they look at your account history and hand those $5 codes out pretty freely on your first complaint.

Was Tales from the Borderlands available for 3.75 during the TGA flash sale? A Sony rep just told me it was, but then later admitted he didn't have the specific details.

What the hell? He was adamant that the 3.75 price was available, but he said there was no way to look up the specific details. He was just guessing basically...
Yeah most CSR reps really don't know all that much just because that stuff isn't made available to them so they have to sound confident and make assumptions if they deviate from the script.

I should have taken a screenshot. Now I have to screenshot every PSN purchase as proof of what the price was. I even told him that and he didn't care.

I'm pretty sure they said early 2016. I never played REmake when it came out, but I loved it, played through it both scenarios. I have the trailer on my PSN wish list so I don't forget to keep checking when it goes up on the digital store.

I think it's been up since Tuesday.
And there it is! Thanks Frisky.

Lol, they aren't allowed to look at links, so my proof didn't matter to them. I am never buying from PSN again.

Edit: And he wouldn't let me talk to a manager.

I didn't look at the prices but I'm assuming they're all full priced. Two games for $60 is not bad, but for someone like me, who did most of his shopping at Best Buy on Black Friday, those prices don't even come close. Heck, I just got Lego Batman, Marvel and Metro:Redux for $32 the other day, that's still a much better deal than getting both Marvel games for $20 considering I'm getting a third game for an extra $12, but still saving on that price.

What a bunch of entitled gamers.  You paid a price you were comfortable with at the time.  That's your issue.  If you wanted it for $3.75 you should have waited for it.

The issue is that new price was 3 days later. Even if it had been a month that would be fine, but 3 days later?

The problem here is not entitlement. The problem here is trust. Someone already posted about this earlier. I don't feel entitled to a refund of $3.75 due to a price drop, but issues like this will certainly make me think longer next time something goes on sale. How will I know that the same item won't be half price the next week?

Also, if this were simply an issue of entitlement, why do many retailers offer price match guarantees even after you've made a purchase? They don't want their customers resenting the place they shop at when they see a price drop just after they buy something.

Maybe it is a fine line between entitlement and trust, but I think there's a difference. Also, that difference in definition tends to be kind of selfish for all of us:

Issues someone else cares about = entitlement

Issues I care about = trust

I worked in retail for a decade.  Many companies have very strict rules when it comes to sales and how frequently mark downs are allowed to happen just for this reason.  They are very predictable and PSN should be too.  We should be confident that such and such game will not go on sale for XX amount of days after it was on sale.  Usually in retail at least in my retail industry, that time period was a month.  Products would not go on sale again for at least a month.  Clearance items would drop in price every two weeks on a set date.  We would slash prices on clearance  twice, once initially, then one more time.  After that, items were sold to resellers.

I wonder if there's an issue at Telltale concerning Borderlands.  Like maybe they didn't sell enough copies and if they don't sell X amount by the end of the year they'll lose the license and not be able to make a sequel or even more incentive... they will have to pay some penalty to Gearbox/2K.   I think there could be a lot more to this sale than sheer stupidity by allowing it.  It reeks of desperation to get units sold.

I understand blaming Sony to some degree for this, but Telltale controls the prices of their games and the deals they participate in.

On a similar note, I got a bit cheesed off when Pocket God Vs Desert Ashes came out and then a week later was on sale for a $1 along with the Desert Ashes DLC (1/2 of which went free) that I also bought.  But I wanted the game (I need more Advance Wars style games in my life) and I liked the past games the dev made so it wasn't that big a deal to throw them some support.  I didn't go to Sony or the dev complaining (just vented here a little).  It's just part of the market.  Buy at a price you are comfortable with and ignore all the future sales for that game and enjoy it.   For crap you aren't interested in buying, set a value in your mind that the game is worth and don't buy it unless it breaches that price point.  If Telltale games are only worth $5 to you, then hold out for that price.   If you are fine with any price below $10 then don't complain when it goes cheaper than what you buy it at because historically the games have gone $5 or less.

At least this isn't iOS gaming... there a dev would drop a game for $3, a week later have it on sale for $2 calling it a launch sale, then raise it back to $3 for a week then drop it down to $1 or Free saying it didn't sell enough and they want to get more gamer feedback.  Dealing with that for a couple years made me pretty careful about what devs I bought games from and which ones I just waited for stuff to go on a "Free" or $1 sale.  Eventually the list of devs I could trust was so few it didn't make sense to bother following the platform for gaming anymore.  Especially when a paid game would get converted to freemium and you were just out of luck for getting the game you already paid for.

I haven't set up my PS4 yet. I am just going to sell it now. I am never buying another Sony product again.

I hope we finally see a sale on FFX/X-2 Remaster for Vita in the next few weeks. I've had my Vita for like 8 and a half months and been watching the sales since I got it. I'm getting tired of waiting and might just break down and buy it at full price soon.

There's definitely between a sale since I bought it digitally on sale. May have been more than 8 months though since FF sales are like yearly for the most part.

Really? So none of the Steambros ever refunded something (*cough*3Drealm*cough*) cause it was cheaper after they bought it?

It's $30 on PSN but it's been $20 on Gamestop.com & in Walmart stores for months and months now for the physical version (which X is on the cart and X2 is a digital voucher). It's $21.97 on Amazon right now. So save some storage space and go for the physical version. Or wait for a sale for all digital but even the last time it was on sale it was still $20.

Well, if you bought something regular price and the next day it went on sale, how would you feel? I get what your saying though, and it sucks. I mainly said entitlement for lolz and because I know it's a trigger rule for some. I think we're just used to (at retail) being able to return and rebuy or take advantage of a price match rule to get the difference and I think that's how things should be, but these sort of policies are relatively new. The digital world is a little bit different though so I don't have the exact same expectations here. But even Steam has implemented a refund policy to address this issue, but that's really new and for years it was basically bite the bullet. (Steam CS won't respond for weeks and have never given away free $5 codes or anything like that). Maybe you should try a different CSR or calling vs. email or something. That usually does the trick.

The problem here is not entitlement. The problem here is trust. Someone already posted about this earlier. I think you hit the nail on the head at the end. We see things differently depending on how the issue personally affects us. I still think we're entitled gamers at times, but I don't necessarily see it as a bad thing. That's how we've been groomed and the sort of things we feel entitled to also tend to be good business.

I worked in retail for a decade. Many companies have very strict rules when it comes to sales and how frequently mark downs are allowed to happen just for this reason. They are very predictable and PSN should be too. We should be confident that such and such game will not go on sale for XX amount of days after it was on sale. This sounds like good business strategy here.

I think too many people have more fun playing the market of game pricing than they do playing the games themselves.
This is definitely true.

Really? So none of the Steambros ever refunded something (*cough*3Drealm*cough*) cause it was cheaper after they bought it?
What do the Steambros have to do with anything? This is a PSN thread, bro.

Very typical, seeing as how Europe usually tends to get different (and better) sales and offers.
The issue there is UK MSRP is much higher than here via conversion due to their tax situation and retailers rarely ever charge MSRP at launch for those games, so it clashes badly with their whole strategy of getting people on board the digital train. So deals like that are needed to get them to really buy any sort of retail stuff on PSN. We're a bit lucky that both digital and physical retailers start at the same spot and things like GCU and sales bring it down for both places. I see a number of UK people that want digital just make NA accounts and pay our MSRP since it's about 33% cheaper (Google says 60 Pounds UK is about $90 here) than what they could get there.

I should have taken a screenshot. Now I have to screenshot every PSN purchase as proof of what the price was. I even told him that and he didn't care.
You get an email documenting every purchase. You don't need to screenshot.

Lol, they aren't allowed to look at links, so my proof didn't matter to them. I am never buying from PSN again.

Edit: And he wouldn't let me talk to a manager.
No need to overreact. Just call back, remain calm, and don't get upset -- remember, it's just people on the other line. Be nice, considerate, and I'm sure they'll take care of you. Don't even mention your previous call, just start fresh. Just because one rep didn't know what he wasn't talking about doesn't mean a thing -- if we didn't buy from any big store with a dumb customer service rep we'd never buy anything.

People in the EU complain we get better sales. It's all perspective. I'm in NA and think we get -way- better sales, especially if you take currency conversion into account [but even w/o].

I'm just jealous the the UK has had a 1TB version out for a while now, and I think you can still get a white PS4 there. those are two things I've been waiting to come to the US for a while now.

I think we probably get the better as a whole but then EU gets these peaks that catch our attention on the internet that make it look like the land of milk and honey.

Frisky mentioned during at some point that it was on sale last November or something, but unless I missed it in the past couple months it hasn't been on sale since.

Yeah, I've been tempted to do just that, but I really prefer digital. I have considered buying physical just in this one case (no hassle in switching carts if I only have the one, right?), but I still think I'd rather wait it out. Even if it never goes on sale again I think I'd rather pay $30 just to have it digital.

IGN just posted a video about the BOGOF sale but failed to mention it was for UK only. Either they are misinformed, or the deal might be coming to US too today?

You know you can buy a 2TB hard drive and install it in your PS4 for about $80 and thirty minutes of your life, right?

Yeah when I realized we were getting a 1TB version, I ended up doing that and it actually worked out better for me. I have about 20 games installed through discs and 6 digital ones and I still have 800gb left, so I was better off in that sense.

Still want a white PS4 though, but I guess I'll buy some sticker from Amazon for $10 and just decorate my console with that.
