do you like rpgs? heavily jpn rpgs that refer to characters with jpn sir names and junk like san chan sama chi tan ect? And are basically dating and highschool sims with turn based combat.

Ignoring all that they've been waay cheaper before so I would rec just waiting for them to go on sale again. Because you could probably get them physically for those prices. New in p3p's case unless its gone up in price again.

I really do need to pick that up the next time it goes on sale. Last time I considered it but passed because I bought other stuff instead.
Hmmm. I may just buy these then, because I prefer digital. Thanks!

Mega Man Legends 2 looks like it is coming to PSN. Good, since there is no way I'd pay as much as what they go for on ebay.
I really hope so! Back in the day.... Like the 90s lol we never had a ps1 then one day my brother got one. I got ff8, %100 that game, then I got Megaman legends and I loved it. I got part 2 and legends of dragoon but then my ps1 went missing. Turns out my brother was borrowing it. I used a ps1 emulator on my 98 HP to play legends but disc 2 didn't work. My computer also destroyed my legends 2 game.

Over the course of the past 15 years, those were the two games that I never got to complete that I always wanted to. I beat legends 1 on 64 multiple times. If legends 2 comes to vita I'll be so happy.

Don't overlook Tron Run/r guys. The game is pretty awesome. It's not even in the realm of mobile runners you may think of. Excellent controls. Running levels with disc combat, wall running, cool combos, power ups and lots of new things added along as you progress. Then the cycle based levels that are just as fun and challenging - drifts, jumps, enemy cyclists, etc. And an endless mode.

Great stuff if you're a fan of Tron or just good arcade / runner type games. I'd say $20 was too pricey, but it's well worth $10 IMO.

Honestly one of the better Tron based games -- although I'd love to see a new grid based cycle game (the multiplayer one in Tron Evolution was underrated).

It's definitely coming to PSN but I also hope that includes Vita support.

Thanks for the title shout-out about Super Blackout, Frisky. :)

Oddly, I didn't even know it was on sale until seeing it in the list here.  I put in a sale request a couple of weeks ago but missed the e-mail about it being approved and forgot which week I requested, heh.

Fascinating insights in to the way Sony runs their sales.

Also I'm sorry but I still deeply despise that type of game.

:'(

I'll get you with the next one. If you like platformers, that is. Otherwise, you better like RPGs, because these are the only genres I'm going to be doing. :D
I like puzzle games too, I just have a particular hatred for that type. One day it will go cheap enough that I will buy it anyway just for you and I see no reason I won't buy the next two to actually "play".

In fairness- I am a gamer that buys most good retail games eventually, so by the time games with gold offers sunset overdrive or lords of the fallen I've already played them.

I like what ps4 is doing by giving away premium indie games- better to have rocket league and Galaxy-z than knack and Sherlock Holmes

Crimes and Punishments is actually quite good and was already "free" for the PS3.

The thing about Zombi is it's an awful game that people who got it on Wii U pretended was good because there was nothing else to play on it.

Already got Zombi with that Far Cry 4 bundle for $20. Haven't even installed it yet.

Oh well, I have no problems with indie games in the line up, but the ones here are pretty weak.

Dead Star is the wildcard. We'll see how good or bad it is at launch.

I agree. Triple AAA games I can get for cheap down the road if I want a deal. Getting strong indie games for free that I would need a rare $0.99 deal to buy is great for me! I dont love them all but theres some strong ones that I really enjoy like bro force, nuclear throne, and even nom nom galaxy.

good indies and season passes/dlc

no AAA

imo

I said this in the Xbox thread. I think GwG is better for the freebies. But PS+ is better for sales - particularly flash sales. So it kind of balances out IMO.

Full Lineup:

  • A Virus Named Tom, PS Vita
  • Dead Star, PS4
  • I Am Alive, PS3
  • Savage Moon, PS3
  • Shutshimi, PS Vita
  • Zombi, PS4
Wow, what a wonderful surprise to read. All these games are curiosities to me. I played A Virus Named Tom on pc, I'm probably the only one, but I am far to clumsy for keyboard gaming. I bought SWTOR when it came out years ago, my MacBook these days is finally decent at gaming, but my god, I was overwhelmed by all the buttons I had to memorize.

I (along with a couple buddies) got to play Dead Star at PAX South and it was actually a lot of fun. I'm pretty excited that it's free because I probably would have bought it either way.
