Got to hand it to Target. I called back today and they said since I'd already picked up the desk they are not going to charge me for it. And the TV stand has gone through and should arrive monday. Being the honest guy didn't hurt me in this case. Free computer desk!

 
You can probably use that LIST coupon in store with 35% off from cartwheel (+ maybe wish list and red card) to get guitar hero live and guitar for around $50 today. I might give it a shot.

lol just be happy I didn't post the hastings sale last night. I spent all my credit buying movies and some tv shows at 40% off and their prices were lower than normal for that type of sale before the code.

 
FYI reviews are in on that BF 48" Samsung at Best Buy and the pictures in the listing are wrong. That model does not actually have a component/analog input! That's a deal killer for us. There is a similar model on sale today that does have component, but the sale price is $50 more. Probably going to get it.

Grabbed a PSTV, just couldn't resist any more. It's worth that even if all I ever do is watch Netflix on it in my bedroom.

I probably should've just grabbed the bundle since I need a DS3, but oh well.

yup just got one for in store pickup at my best buy.

Not sure why i'll have two pstv but it was 20 bucks, so couldnt not get it.

Yea netflix is no go on it but its awesome for remote play if you can wire it and ps4 on the same network.

Really hope they add playstation vue support somehow in the future in case I ever decide to go that route.

iv seen kmfdm like 5 times. my girl and i hung out with them like twice after the shows. we were talking politics cuz sascha said they werent coming back to usa if bush got elected/reelected raymond watts (pig) was drunk as hell, lol. but i havnt seen a show (other than raves/fests) in like 10 years tho. I saw a ton of shows at pops/riverfront from like '98-'07 and then kids and stuff and iv been busy ;) i saw bowie/reznor with my dad in like 95 lol. i need to start going to real concerts again tho

 
Gaming Updates:

* Starlight Interception - steaming pile of crap. On the 5th or 6th mission. Required to fly into a cave on some moon. The refresh rate is so poor and the graphics so bad you can't see where you're going. At least there's checkpoints.

*La Mulana Ex - Got the fairy pendant. Now for the third guardian. (Am I in hard mode? How do I switch back?)

* AC Liberaton :  Freed some slaves. Synchronized some stuff. Still waiting for this to be going somewhere.

* ZHP : Getting too frustrating now. Can't get through the 4th dungeon, and damge received seems pretty random. As with all NIS games the weapon customization and leveling up is needlessly complicated.

* Dragon Fin Soup: I think I'll just stick with this for now.

*Organ Trail: I'm not sure why I bought this. After about 30 seconds worth of nostalgia, it's not worth it.

 
For anyone skeptical of the praise people have heaped on Tales from the Borderlands that are not fans of the Borderlands series, listen to it.  I will say there were times in the story where I thought it was dragging and I did not understand the direction they were going, it really all ended up tying together.  The decisions really did end up mattering more in the end than most of the other Telltale games have.  Plus the QTE ending actually made sense for a change too.

Great game worth sticking through to the end.  I'm looking forward to replaying on PS3 to change things up.

The First Aid Kit song at the end was an added bonus.

Yeah the PSTV was OOS when I got home last night but when I woke up this morning it was in stock again and I ordered it!

That's a good deal on Guitar Hero Live. If I didn't get in on the BBY deal with a mic I would have jumped on that. Sorry Zimm!

I only played the first episode but I was just wondering
if you can save that one bullet for something crazy in the last episode

Sadly, no. I saved it thinking that there would be some crazy thing with it later. It was addressed later in the story and discussed, but no super crazy moment where she is saved from death due to saving that bullet or anything.

Later on she gets more ammo. I recall there only being two scenes where the initial bullet was relevant--right at the end of the deal and again at the end of the race. You get more bullets shortly after that so the whole "where do I use this?" question gets dropped.

Gonna try and trade the DS4 that came with my ps4 at gamestop. Hopefully they dont hit me with too much of a fee since the only thing wrong with it is a little cut on the joystick grip. Do I need to bring anythung besides the controller?

vita is $170 at bby today I think but just the nekkid model. I don't know if I've ever seen that at a target.
 
This is also the first day of 10 days of savings at target with that 10% coupon being day 1. On black Friday if you spend $75 you get a 20% off your whole purchase coupon for a future visit which could help when the mythical X% off all games cartwheel coupon hits.
 
Watching Jurassic World. Bryce Dallas Howard has gotten a lot hotter since she had kids. Filled her out a bit in a very pleasant way.

The movie itself is fun but filled with waaaay more unbelievable contrivances than I remember Jurassic Park having. Too much of the stuff that happens feels unnatural for the narration. Too bad since the cast and basic premise for the new movie were good.
