Interesting that it has the same annoyances as Senran Kagura, though not near as bad and I imagine the fights are more than 1-2m long. I'm tempted on DQH but think I'll hold off until playing One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 to verify the style doesn't bore me too much. SK is the only musou-style game I've played even though I've had Dynasty Warriors Next and OP:pW2 for quite some time.

Did anybody post that some GS deals have already started? I don't recall seeing it. Watch Dogs PS4 is apparently $6.99 in stores. Not sure what else since it's taking forever to load the pdf.

I don't understand paying $60+ for Breach & Clear. Collectors are weird.
I agree 100% but I think the real draw of this one is the super low print run of 1,500 (said no more will be made, so actually limited if true) , plus if you are a collector and want the full collection then you need to have this one.

Best Target clearance finds are the random ones. Roku 3 model 4230R for 29.98. 008-06-1541.

Thats awesome.

Something called Slain! is heading to PC (Steam page) on 1/27/16 with Vita (definitely happening) and PS4 (99% happening) versions to follow: http://www.destructoid.com/slain-slips-to-a-january-release-date-still-looks-awesome-322130.phtml

And holy crap, this game is gorgeous:

I guess you play as Chewy?
fuck ing gorgeous.

Well I guess I need to take another week off from work for JC3. Can I play a video game every day for two weeks straight without wanting to kill myself?
Thats all I want to do with Fallout 4. I've got 30 hours in and have only done the first two quests in the main story line. All I do is keep exploring, stumbling across new interesting side quests, building settlements, and hunting loot. Looooooooooooot!

I've only put in ~11 hours for DQH so far, but I already enjoy it much more than Senran Kagura if only because I love the Dragon Quest universe.

Too much togetherness there if you have 2 friends over to watch the game.
I have a separate chair for the third wheel. The middle seat would basically always be used as a table. Also that other couch I wanted is some cheap bonded fake leather that I read had terrible problems. And they didnt have them in store anymore. In January I will look again at other options too.

Do you (or anyone else playing FO4) have any tips on building settlements? It seems very Minecraft-y and I haven't played that, plus it just doesn't seem all that fun to me--unless there are some really good in-game incentives to building settlements, I'll do just enough with them to earn the 100% happiness trophy (which I know is annoying people) and move on.

FYI to anyone considering Lords of the Fallen Complete Edition: The DLC is apparently on code slips, not on-disc. That might not matter to some, but there you go.

I swear on or after the age of 35 your body decides to give you a big ass fuck you. I don't remember having random aches and pains like this before then.

So what if I was raking leaves for hours and climbing on my roof yesterday?

I'm going to go get the ol blue vita tomorrow, but I discovered today that the closest gamestop where I reserved not only refused to give me mine because it was release date bound (it showed released on the website), but then sold it to someone else that same day and didn't get any others in. So I'll have to go over there, get my fucking deposit back, and then hoof it over to another gamestop across town to actually pick one up which once again cements gamestop's place on my shitlist for all eternity.

While you're at it, buy the cheapest thing they have (or keep the receipt showing your refunded deposit) and burn that store on the survey. The district manager will likely call you to apologize and give you something for your trouble. They really do read those.

Then some poor sap working a shitty job will likely get fired over it. Is it really that big of a deal? Is some $5 off coupon worth that?

Poor sap or not, I'm pretty sure preorders aren't supposed to be sold to someone who didn't preorder. Isn't that the whole reason to preorder something--to secure your copy?

Cept there is no way you would pay the crazy prices that LaZBoy wants. One of their stupid recliners is as much as a regular couch!
Good quality shit though. I have a oversized love seat my parents bought me. Still have it. It has moved 3 or 4 times. Will end up in the basement eventually. Still works pretty well. Broke one of the cables for the recylner. Was able to order a replacement one and put it in myself. Can't recall if they sent it for free or if it was a couple bucks. They sent two of them.

That said I doubt the new couch for the living room will be from them. Mad expensive.

Of course it is. I am just not going to be the one to raise a god damn stink over something that minor and possibly get a kid fired so I can hope for "something for your trouble"

I am all for people who repeatedly do not do their job having consequences. I am not going to be the one to fill out a survey to blast someone over something that minor. I am a fill out a positive survey when someone goes out of their way to help me in hopes they get rewarded type. The only way I would fill out a bad survey is if someone is straight up offensive to someone in the store. Mistakes happen.

Just a difference in philosophy I guess.

There definitely some nice benefits like building stores for income (I'm already rolling in caps without it though, max charisma extorting the shit out of everyone. Common wealth citizens make it rain for every quest I do) but a lot of it is just cause its cool. I find building, like minecraft, very cathartic. I spent 3 hours after
saving preston and taking everyone back to sanctuary
just custom buildng a two story house with a second floor patio and roof access.

None of that weak prefab bullshit for me and my peeps.

Stupid question. If I buy my kids the Destiny The Taken King disc on BF from Best Buy for Xmas, they will be able to use their existing saves with it from their vanilla version, right? And that's the cheapest option for getting all the expansions, correct ($31.99+tax after GCU = $33.91)? They could then trade in their vanilla version, but for peanuts. Better than nothing I suppose.

I'll agree with this. And a token gift from a district manager wouldn't really do much for me anyways since I only go in there once a year or so.

That said, I did report repeated negative treatment at the bby I used to go to with constant accusations of stealing and treating me like a criminal when trading games in. I didn't get anything for my trouble and the problematic people weren't fired, but it hasn't happened again.

You just put in the code and download the DLC. Game saves will be fine.

The base game is on the disc and the rest is download (all 3 DLCs). Everything is saved to the cloud (not on your system).

Just to be clear, I wasn't saying he should fill out the survey in the hopes of getting something. Setting a preordered item aside for whomever preordered it and selling only excess stock to those who didn't preorder should be standard store policy; for all we know, acting contrary to that doesn't usually happen at that store, but it needs to be mentioned so that it won't happen again.

Okay Pitfall!
I spend a lot of time on my ass playing video games. I'll gladly pay extra to be comfortable while doing it. Truth be told, I hate the upstairs furniture. My wife picked it. I paid the LaZBoy markup for mine because the sales lady finally pointed out to me why I am usually so damn uncomfortable in most sofas.

Short people do not have this issue, but if you are tall like me when you sit in most couches, the seat does not come all the way up to the crease of your knee. The couch I got was really deep with huge back pillows. So it works for shorter people or giants like me. Worth every god damn penny to learn that little fact.

I think the only thing that really bugged me was that they wouldn't let me buy it when it was available to pickup according to their site, but it turned out to be a beautiful gift they gave me - the gift of thirty dollars cheaper.

Maybe Zimm's secretly waiting/hoping for Santa to bring him a PS4 this year. He just doesn't want to mention it because he doesn't want to get ridiculed by PSNOT for still 'believing'.

Hey Zimm, I still believe; but this is the last year if he doesn't bring me the two things on my list:

A winning lottery ticket (I ask for that every year), and Nick Saban as the next Gamecock's head coach.
I don't know about Saban, but it looks like you might be able to get Les Miles.

I actually have no real idea how hard potty training for a dog is since we almost always end up with older shelter dogs and not puppies.  the puppy we did have we ended up having to give to someone else since he attacked someone and we weren't equipped to handle that appropriately with our teeny tiny kids.  I think you just have to be dedicated and it'll be fine.

our current dog is this 8 year old weird lazy-ass lab/boxer mix or something.  she's terrified of fireworks and rainstorms and randomly when we leave sometimes she gets up on the kitchen counters and obliterates anything we left out and then pisses in the sun room.  if we take her on a walk longer than a mile when she gets home she throws up all over the place.  she snores extremely loudly and won't sleep anywhere but our bedroom.  I came home one day and she was just there, my wife and the kids just went and got her from the spca.  I really like the dog though, she's cool in spite of all that.  dogs are awesome.

Finished up with the Dwarf normal campaign and stopped just short of the final boss with the sorceress and the Elf.

Elf looks like maybe it would shine better in later modes when you can fully attribute skill points, but it seemed pretty weak and I didn't like that you have such limited arrow ammunition. It's a thief type character and I guess I don't have the patience for that.

The Sorceress is actually more of a dark cleric type character. The wizard has a few utility spells, but is mostly all offense. The sorceress is about equally split between utility and damage dealing. She has the ability to create food which not only heals you, but allows you to overfill your health. She has a shield spell which reduces knock back and limits damage for all allies. She can turn enemies to stone or turn them into frogs, or create a gravity well to suck in enemies.

After not liking the fighter I had a lot of fun with the Dwarf. Whereas the Fighter is mostly helpless after doing his earth slam move while he waits for 10 seconds before he can pick up his weapon again, the dwarf has a lot of other options. His signature move is grabbing enemies and throwing them. If you pump up the power bomb skill, the damage caused by impacts increases and the resulting area of impact also increases. So you can smash your hammer into the ground (which calls down lightning from the sky) and while waiting to pick up your weapon, you can pick up enemies and toss them around for lots of damage.

He's also part pyro as he has skills which generate explosives as well improve their damage. So while waiting you can also chuck bombs or explosive barrels. I mixed a damage up potion with 3 barrels (and NPC allies) and killed the final boss in 59 seconds in normal (the trophy requires 2 minutes) that's 46 seconds faster than the wizard. He also has two defensive skills, a passive skill which decreases how often he is stunned by attacks, and a short buff with infinite uses which greatly decreases damage taken.

That leaves just the amazon to play around with, though after reading up on it I don't think it's something I will enjoy. The lower your Hp, the higher your damage and parrying requires preciseness which I'm not sure how that is going to be possible given how chaotic the screen can get.
Hit me or derek or wren or pancakes or whomev up when ya wanna do labyrinth of chaos or impossible mode. i love to play with my wizard. you have to beat the dragon solo and that's bout hardest thing in the game, but hit me up if ya want.

also my girl is gonna cam in an hour or so with this other chic, but i dont feel great so calling up a friend as a cock stunt double, let's see how this works. lol

I wish UF had more scholarships open if Miles ends up getting fired and Jimbo goes from FSU to LSU. Some people here think that Richt could still get fired if they lose to GT this week. I don't think that would happen but if 3 of our annual rivals all had coaching changes at once (especially with the HS talent in GA this year) I would be a very happy man.

Velo has to be the only man alive to call in sick for a threesome.

Can we only have one PSTV tied to our PSN ID? I have a PS3/4/Vita and just bought a PSTV for myself and my nephew. Of course I have a million games to play and would like for him to access them as well. If not I guess I'll just have him redeem the code for the LEGO Movie game on an account we create for him and he can use the 8GB memory card to download games. I'll have to deal with swapping my 64 GB from the Vita or just use cloud saves. Not sure if I wanna buy another memory card.

Not to butt in but doesn't Gamestop only hold a pre-order for a certain amount of days? I picked up my Blue Vita a couple weeks ago. I never opened it. Plan on returning\rebuying to get the better price.

Since my son and I now live seperately, I created him a sub account on my account. While that doesn't answer your question, if you can indeed have two pstvs active that wold be a good way to handle that. Now my kid can play all the games on my account whole earning his own trophies and such.
