Since so many game shows back then just played for 30 mins then stopped regardless of where they were in the game, it's cool to see the next episode on right after.

Started GHL. It's fun. The wife hates the Live stuff but she got really into the GHTV thing when I played Tribute, Eye of the Tiger, and Chop Suey! The Live stuff is kinda annoying, but not too bad.

The guitar is a piece of crap. I'm going to have to take it back to BB for an exchange. Apparently the strummer doesn't work for a lot of people, me included. Seems like the buttons are a bit flakey as well though I'll admit that might be because I'm struggling a bit with the 6-button layout. I do just fine when the buttons stay on one row, but when it switches back and forth it throws me off position.

I tried it out tonight too. The mixed colors threw me off at first too but I adjusted quickly. I like the new layout. I'll test the guitar over the next couple days to make sure I don't run into any issues.

PopCap is giving players 80,000 free coins in PVZGW to celebrate 8 million players. I booted it up today. Not sure if it's automatic or how long it'll last.

Get it from BB. Easy to exchange if there's an issue. Most of the problems I've read about are out of the box. The faulty strummer is the most common issue I've seen mentioned.

Still enjoying it, though definitely the GHTV component more than Live. My hands are giving me fits after a few hours of play, though. All those weird, unfamiliar finger contortions.

BTW the problem with the strummer is that it only works in one direction. If I strum down it's fine, but up doesn't work. I'm not sure if that matters for gameplay but the strummer is used to go up and down in the menus so it's pretty noticeable there. There's an additional direction button on the guitar that you can use for navigation so the strummer being broken doesn't completely kill your ability to play the game. Still annoying, though.

For higher difficulties even with the new note layout, I think strumming up would be necessary. At least it is on RB/GH expert difficulty.

If you already bought Need for Speed then you can't do a price adjustment at BB but you could price match a new copy and return it with the old receipt.
