I'd rather the Complete Edition gather dust than the vanilla one I have on my shelf right now.
My vanilla's collecting virtual dust on the cloud when I bought it using one of those pick your game codes for $20 last year. I had to delete it off the hard drive to free up space.

I went to a few Walmarts to see if I could find the Flash season 1 Blu Ray but came up empty.  Did grab Tomorrowland for $10.  Also saw an Aquos 55" 4K for $800 which gave me a chub but the ratings on rting.com were mediocre so I left limp.

Did Newegg have some major sale or glitch?  Because their website crashed.  I picked up some of the Final Fantasy games on steam early this morning with the 15% off code but that surely can't be it.

Barnes and Noble online currently has a reusable 30% off a single item code, 30BFriday.

They have free shipping on $25+ orders but if your item price before coupon is greater than $10 its a better deal just to pay shipping and make separate orders if you want to buy more than one thing. Notably they have their Criterion sale going on right now, but they also have a few other things competitively priced like the Back to the Future Visual companion that is $25 (the same as amazon) before coupon.

Pretty sure I'm all done with Black Friday. My entire haul if anyone cares.

What, no pics of the thermals and towels?

Finally got my hands on the hottest item this Black Friday, Simpsons Season 17. Brickseek said my Target had 3 but couldn't find them anywhere, took about 15 mins before I stumbled upon them in a super obscure area.

Also picked up one of those Funko Mystery Boxes from Gamestop. By far my biggest mistake of Black Friday. But besides that I'm pretty happy with my haul. Might return some of the Gamestop toys I bought online if they're not as cool as I'm hoping they will be.
What did you get in the box? Some guy in the Gamestop thread did an unboxing video of the 6 he bought, and he got triples of some things.

Armageddon Riders actually sounds somewhat interesting. Reviews and videos describe it like a lower rent version of Burnout Paradise with zombies. It's an open world racer in which you park to start a variety of events (just like BP) and then you can upgrade your car (there are a few different cars to choose from) with various boosts and tools to help you kill zombies. There is straight racing, demolition derby, kill as many zombies as possible, survival (last place has a bomb put on them every 30 seconds), etc. No online play, 2 player split screen only. Reviews are split on it, half are mid-70's to 80s, and the other half are low 60's to 50's. looks like a decent 10 hour time waster.

Too bad it is a PS3 game

Amazon must be selling the $35 Kindle Fire like crazy. I bought one for my mom yesterday, and the expected delivery is 12/11. I just bought one for my brother a few minutes ago, and the expected delivery is 12/24-12/28.

So for those of you that went out for bf shopping last night/early today - did it seem less populated than previous years? It definitely seems like stores have done a pretty good job of finally spreading out the pre holiday sales and varying opening times for stores to effectively neuter the black Friday craziness.

I didnt go anywhere, but my wife said everywhere here was empty compared to previous years.

Also, amazon. Yeesh. Did anyone even bother? Lightning deal overload plus no unique deals equals easy skip for me.
Hell no. Amazon has become a complete non-player in BF for me. Who wants to sit in front of their computer all day long and calculate when the 10 or so lightning deals out of the million they have will actually go live. And then they sell out in like 10 seconds.

They're also pretty scummy how they do lightning deals. I was on the waitlist for Simpsons Season 17 for $8 but was still free to check out for the $12.99 price if I wanted. Like if Best Buy had two shelves with all the same stuff, one for cheaper price and one for normal price.

Dreamals breaks one of the cardinal rules of puzzle games by having only one level unlocked at a time.

UNLOCK 5 OR 6 LEVELS SO I CAN GO BACK AND FORTH AND TRY DIFFERENT THINGS ON DIFFERENT LEVELS!!!

Only having one level unlocked at a time just leads to getting stuck and frustrated and having nothing else to do in the game.

Legends of Tomorrow is going to be paired with the 100, season 3 on Thursday, I think they added S2 to Netflix streaming at the end of October. It is a quite good, dark, sci-fi show which you wouldn't think based on outside appearances since the promos feature mostly teenagers. Both seasons are cable-ish length (13 episodes in S1 and 16 in S2) so its not too huge of a time commitment. S1 gets really good in the second half and S2 is all great.

In the future, the world becomes uninhabitable so the only humans who survived were those who were in space stations in orbit around the Earth at the time. The space stations from the various countries eventually came together in one structure (welding all the space stations together to form one giant Ark) to share resources. Since those resources are limited, crimes are severely punished, stealing, having more than 1 kid, etc. are all punishable by death if you are beyond 18 years of age. The Ark was designed to last long enough to return to Earth when its safe, but it is starting to break down early. So the only choice is to send 100 expendable, young criminals down to the ground to determine if it is safe to return.

Half the series takes place on the ground with the teenagers and the other half is up on the Ark with the adults where there are hard choices and political intrigue. I found myself actually liking the Ark based material a little more than the survival adventures on the ground.

Best buy wasn't all that crowded when we went out in the middle of the day to pick up a macbook. The parking lot for the mall next door was really crowded though. Target wasn't bad when we were in there either. But this was around 2-3. My cousin and sister went out around 11pm and said the malls were packed though.

I didn't buy much but I still spent more than I planned to. I guess I had to buy a few things since I just got the PS4.

Far Cry 4 Complete $15

Dying Light $15

Saints Row IV Reelected $17

Rocksmith 2014 $35

3 Months of PS+ (5) $50

No, since I have not forgotten about you looking for laptops for your wife instead of getting yourself a PS4.

ETA: non-asshole answer, yes that is a pretty damn good deal actually.
But this helps her get a real job, which then helps me move out faster, which therefore helps me PS4 faster.

How? Before you said this was a hobby. Plus, unless she is a independent contractor how does a new laptop help her get a real job that she could not do on her older computer?

You know what else is a hobby? Playing video games.

She has an interview next week for some work at home wellness coach. And she needs a laptop that she can webcam with clients. She did a webcam interview and said the computer crashed right after. It crashes a lot doing basic things. She said she turned down multiple free lance photography jobs this summer because the laptop wasn't reliable to edit her photos on (though I'm not sure I really buy that).

Walmart was a fucking shitshow yesterday in my neck of the woods. But I will say I was kind of surprised how nice everyone was there, considering I went to the one in the not-so-nice part of town. Everyone was really considerate, but it was jam-packed.

work at home wellness coach???

I too would like to get paid to tell people over the internet that they're too fat and they need to go to the gym and eat better. It's like paid trolling!

I tell myself I am fat and need to go to the gym...then I buy myself a PS4 and a bunch of games. It's not quite a paycheck but it is rewarding!

Yeah it sounds weird to me too. But whatever gets at least a little more money into the house so I can get out of it.

I definitely didn't. Everything seems better and easier at other places now. Not even sure I'm going to sign up for prime again. Part of that is that I pay tax at Amazon now.

I did some online shopping thursdat to take advantage of targets bog1 50% for toys. But that was it. It feels like we all are aware these deals arent exclusive to just BF

What she didn't tell you is interview is for Chaturbate. She better buy you a PS4 when the checks start flowing in.

My son has a similar Dell (not as much ram, though) and he's been complaining about how slow it is. It was looking pretty brutal the other day. Might be a RAM/Windows 10 issue, though.
