Warfighter looks decent enough. I've never played a MoH game. The plat requirements are a bit annoying, though, with the requirement of two full playthroughs and one of them being hardcore mode (you die and it's over.) You can save scum on hardcore but you have to back the save up somewhere, so that's a pain.

I guess we aren't starting the year off with a bang...more like a whimper. I'm guessing most blog posters will be expecting Uncharted 4 for free on launch now.

I love how they list a PSP game as a Vita game. I guess Invizimals started a trend. Such a joke.
Wow. The game released both on PSP (2011) and with a Vita/PS3 version (2013.) Shitty that we're getting the PSP version. I didn't realize that until your post, but it seems to be the case based on the title they went with. The Vita version says History in front and the EU blog links to the PSP version rather than the Vita one.

Hey Stotch we all missed you so much the past 6 months and are so glad you are back in the psnot thread! Got any recent pix to show off the weight loss? How is your beautiful wife? We are all so proud of you. I hope your family is doing great. Destiny and Wrestling threads get boring or what?

and you don't post here for half a year but still read all of my posts? thats a lil creepy, lol
You know what's creepy? Sending people friend requests over and over and over after they continue to deny them. All of us that you keep doing it to would like you to stop.

Finished the Talos plat. Definitely a cool game, but it really overstays it's welcome. None of the puzzles are that varied or difficult and it really gets to be a chore by the end.

That's just weird, Dragon Age Origins was on sale 2 weeks ago and Nijuahahohaha started on sale yesterday.

and that Grim Fandango slap stings a fair amount as I just bought it in the sale in late October.

Already bought Grim fandango in the Halloween sale or whenever that was. I'm happy more people will get to play DA:O as that was one of my top 5 ps3 games. Don't know anything about the rest of the games.

The PSP version is called Patton's Campaign, so it seems we're getting the actual Vita version, even though they left off the History part at the beginning.

Yes, I've almost picked it up on sale on PSN or from gamestop in one of those buy X get Y free multiple times, but I've always held off because I was waiting on a deal for the UE edition or figured at that point I might as well just jump to DA 3 whenever I get a PS4.

The link on the EU blog points to the psp version.

Hopefully (but I'm doubtful) it's a mistake. If we do get the psp version (which does have a different name than the psp version like Zimm said) then it's really really shady of them to pretend we're getting the vita version

Therm im streaming da i mp if ya wanna watch it. i only played an hour or so of single player, so it isn't really necessary. im trying diff classes and dying alot tho playing hard, lol

I mean I guess I might play Grim Fandango one day but damn what a turd. It's really starting to look like my prediction of the free games becoming an afterthought once plus became basically required has come true.

if you're a ps3 only owner that cares a lot about free games being retail releases then I guess you did pretty good this month. if you're a ps4 owner you're getting a well regarded adventure game and a release day indie which might be right up some people's alley. if you're a vita owner you already lost the day you walked out of the store with that thing.

BB keeps asking me to review my purchases. I'm holding my reviews hostage until the 1st, though. 8 reviews per year is all they'll get.

Though according to the US store the PSP version is only playable on the PSP and is not listed as being on the Vita. Does the PSP version show up on the Vita store? If not then it can't be the Plus game.

edit: Damn, just checked and it does show up in the Vita store. So I guess we get to wait in suspense to see what version we get like Invizimals.

Wow, 3 slaps for me in January.

I played Dragon Age along time ago, and bought Nihilumbra and Grim Fandago both in previous sales. Nihiilumbra is another one of those annoying puzzling platformers. I played it until I got stuck and then gave up on it.

I guess my post is more based on my interests and not the gaming community as a whole, but that being said at this point I either own or have played any PS3 retail release that I'm interested in. The PS4 games I'll likely never even download. And of course I don't have a Vita.

Let it be known though that if I do decide to play these two PS4 games and it turns out that I really like them, I'll gladly eat my words. That's one of the best parts of Plus in my opinion.

Don't be a Vig. Buy them anyway!

So I haven't played the true ending or the last few story DLC missions yet, but based on some of the text collectible's I've been finding in missions it almost seems like Lost Dimension might end up being a loose, Japan-afied reimagining of

On the positive side, I am excited to check out Hardware Rivals with a few of you next week. I don't think it'll be great but I've been surprised before.

My issue (besides the non-stop fucking adventure games) is that they really seem like they're scrapping the bottom of the barrel for PS3 and Vita games anymore. Before you could sometimes count on those being decent indies and possibly crossbuy.

I would be OK with that Patton game IF it is in fact the Vita version, which it rightfully should be put probably isn't.

If you got stuck on Nihilumbra then I have no idea how you even found the temple in La Mulana.

Dragon Quest Heroes has a weird warning about how Square Enix only permits the game to be streamed in "non-commercial contexts." Does that mean if I had subscribers on twitch and streamed this game, I'd be breaking their rules?

Lost Dimension spoilers

There are 2 types of Materia in Lost Dimension, Core Materia and Fate Materia. It is said that many times the Earth has been on the brink of destruction and those times it was the Fate Materia (provided by that Earth itself) that was used to stop the calamity. They were apparently all from a single source, the massive Core Materia sphere which was recently unearthed prior to the start of the game. The available Fate Materia were implanted into people in their teens and early 20's and this gave them special Psychic abilities.

In Captain Planet, the Earth (in the form of Gaia) provides magical rings to teenagers to stave off the destruction / pollution of Earth. These rings give them special abilities.

Yeah I think so. When it came out a lot of people were talking about it, it's really weird.

I would imagine it would mean that you don't have ads turned on for your stream. For instance, everytime I start the Twitch plays Demon's Souls stream, it plays an ad before I can watch any of it.
