Rank Jersey Shore Members by Intelligence. Votes are public and there is multiple choice allowed. Post them in order if want. Here's my rankings

The Situation (doesn't get into shit even though he could, using the show to make even more money in a smart way, gets what he wants without dragging himself down)
Pauly D (gets what he wants without dragging himself down and is the best at doing that, level headed so he doesn't even get into situations where he could get into shit)
JWoww (knows what to say and when to say it, doesn't let temptation take over her)
Vinny (adapts well)
Ronnie (gets what he wants at others expense)
Angelina (plays people well but doesn't always get away with it, able to stand her own despite having nobody to trust)
Snooki (does her own thing well)
Sammi (meh I'll blame it on love)

Age (life experience) appears to play a factor here. Now I'll sit back and let them prove everything I said wrong lol.

Sitch wins on account of his endorsement deals and whatnot. He's the only one that's really taken advantage of being on that show. Dunno how many DJ bookings Pauly gets, but I'd place him second. The rest are just there.

Sure they aren't that intelligent but they ain't as dumb as they're made out to be. Part of the problem is they put their intelligence to bad use because of their background. The media loves to make fun of them making them look even worse. Half the time I watch them it's to laugh at them. I don't think they care about that though, they're having the time of their lives, getting paid and famous, allowing them more opportunities.

None of them are intelligent. That's the whole premise of the show. To get people that don't live in New Jersey to masquerade as obnoxious Jersey folks. One big stereotyping extravaganza.

With all the time Sammi spends face down on a bed, I think a book may have been under her face once or twice.

Snooki is taking good advantage of her semi-fame by jumping right up to "pay 5-10,000 dollars for me to show up at your bar" Paris Hilton deal.
D list celebrity makes more money than some random guy on a forum so they can't be any stupider than you or me
The real stupid people are those that tune in, and enable these D list celebrities to become millionaires.

I can tune in and laugh and be entertained or watch something less entertaining. Doesn't have to be high class to enjoy it. You gotta have some smarts to be able to play someone, get caught, and still be able to talk your way out of it. A dumb person would not be able to talk their way out an even dumber person would not be able to play someone. Why get offended that we watch a particular tv show?

Yea. Jersey Shore is very entertaining. If you don't like it, don't watch it. If you don't watch it, don't post in the fucking thread about it.

This. All Jersey Shore does is remind me once again that MTV these days is Moron TV and not the "Music Television" network that it once was.

True, but I gave up on getting that from MTV a long time ago, like mid-late 90's. It's too bad it is what it is now instead of what it once was, but I'll take what I can from what's currently available. That dude looks like The Situation.

truth be told some of them are very smart. mtv did this thingy on them a while back and jwow and pauly d both did very well in school and jwow is a 2nd degree blackbelt. i respect some of them more than any ther reality tv celeb because theyre working it to get paid and know its a limited time deal so theyre getting all they can while they can. and the show is mindless fun.

Amen. It's a "reality" television show, and these kids are just playing it up for the cameras because they know that's what people tune in to see. Who's going to watch a show where all they do is read books and volunteer at an animal shelter?

I wouldn't be surprised if all the people talking about how "stupid" they are believe wrestling is real, too.

Oh, I don't doubt some of them are smart. Big Brother had some very smart people this season...on paper. Their fame whoring and partying seriously eroded all their intelligence when they walked in the door. People on reality shows lose a lot of self control. Like on The Colony, where the participants KNOW it's fake going in, but during the experiment they get caught up in it and forget very easily. The Colony is a drastic example, but can basically be applied to a show like Jersey Shore as well. They come onto a show that is basically "party 24/7" and start to subconsciously "act the part" much like on The Colony.

You mean guys like "The Undertaker" are really evil and have mystical powers?

The "wrestling" part is real. The In-Ring stuff. Everything else, not real.

Voted the thread up for those of us who enjoy the show since some sourpuss felt the need to give it 1 star.

I see some of them as intelligent but letting their emotions and temptations get to them from time to time. So losing self control to me is often separate from intelligence. Some of the best minds of all time have lost self control at times, sometimes permanently. I love The Colony and definitely respect that show in a way I never will of something like Jersey Shore. One thing I learned from the Jersey Shore is to give people more leeway about what entertains them. I always thought Big Brother was stupid and shallow, never gave it a chance, and it seems similar to Jersey Shore to me, but because of Jersey Shore I'm less likely to talk shit about BB and may even watch it now.

The Situation is going to make about $5+ million by the end of this year.

He's got an iPhone app with a GTL finder (locates gyms, tanning salons and laundry facilities), a workout routine to gain "Situation"-worthy abs, a "Grenade Dodger" game, The Situation's most memorable quotes and even a way to email him directly. It's in Apples top 10 grossing entertainment apps.
