Sayswap Game Trading site

Here you sign up and trade your games and get other games for any system. Trading tokens are 2.49 for first then all others are 5.00. I have done over 50 good trades!

You pay $2.49 for first. THe system automatically gives you points free for first trade!

It has changed! It is much faster, better and more reliable. Try it for yourself!

The advantage is that the games are much cheaper. In Goozex when you start out yuo get a crappy game while in sayswap you could get a $50 game!

When it first launched, a ton of CAGs signed up. A couple lucked out (I did - Kingdom Hearts 2 for free) but the service went way downhill soon after and tons of comments were posted on the moderator's profile - kittygirl or something, it was the main page for SaySwap at the time.

Anyway, lots of people pulled out because few people ever sent anything. I wonder if things have changed...

Gametz is a very confusing site, not very new user friendly, looked at that and goozex and chose goozex. I'm sure that it is still very good, but very confusing to start out with.

GameTZ gives you a fuller reign in controlling trade offers; not limited to the single-trades as in Goozex. I trade on those two sites and a few others, and have been for quite some time (250 rating on Goozex and over 150+ trades on GameTZ). I use both to increase my trading network since I'd never get games on GameTZ for the value that I did on Goozex.

Give GameTZ a try, in addition to Goozex.

They're running a promo right now where if you start a thread and it gets a reply, you get a $5 trade token, so good for mjain275 for getting $5 to promote a terrible site. You will never, NEVER get a $50 game from sayswap just by signing up. You will get nothing. At least with goozex, you can get many, many good games for 100 points.

I have been a member of sayswap for over six months. I sent out one game, waited a while and realized I wasn't getting anything and started getting nervous. I had a ton of points, a decent rating and trade tokens, and still nothing. I have every kind of game on my want list from PS1 and up, common and rare. And I have yet to receive anything. The problem is that the points are totally devalued on sayswap, so no one will send out games for them. Instead, the entire economy is based on game-for-game trades that you have to pay $5 for. Support for sayswap is nonexistent and hostile at best. Stick to the trading boards here on CAG.

Goozex, by comparison, is well run and very transparent in it's member operations (a good thing). I have been a member for the same amount of time, freely send and receive games, and have a clear idea of what will happen and when, and just how much it will cost me.

SaySwap is garbage. I signed up over a month ago and bought a trading token, requested about 8 games with plenty of availability, and have yet to be matched/sent a game. I truly do want my $2.49 back.

I tried. They copy and paste the site instructions in an email to you and that's it. Out of curiosity I've just been adding more and more things (including ridiculous things I would never want but I know would have high availability) to my list to see if I'll ever get anything. Still nothing, and I'm up to 51 games in my want list.

I have had good luck with both sites. I received Untold Legends for the PS3 and Lego Star Wars 2 for the 360 both for a total of $2.49. Support for Sayswap is nearly non existant now as these were both done a while ago.

I did end up getting a few games for cheap because of the sign up bonus.

I had a hell of a time because some f'ing kids would say they were sending something and then I had to email the admin to get my points back.

A real Pain in the ASS!!

But this is NOT A DEAL.

Goozex rules. I got Super Mario 64 DS for 250 points and after realizing that the game wasn't too good I put it on ebay and got $25 for it. This was only like 2 months ago too. It's not like the game was new or anything. I recently traded PGR 4 for 900 points and 900 can pretty much get anything on the site except brand new or rare stuff. My main gripe with that site is that when they find a match and the trader doesn't respond your points are on hold for 26 hours but it's a great site.
