SNK VS Capcom Chaos $20 new at EBgames.com

I bought this on release cause my pockets were too full, and it wasn't worth it. For $20 though I could vouch for it, it's a below average 2d fighter that kept me busy for a good month or two, and I only had it to keep be distracted till SF:AC came out. Now with SF:AC out and DOA Ultimate on my shelf it never gets touched except for once every couple of months.

Most certainly NOT worth $20, I say wait till it's $5 or less. If your really desperate for a fighter, go pick up Exhibition Vol 2 (Xbox), it has a full version of a far superior Capcom vs SNK 2 (minus the online).

any suggestions for something similar to mvc2? i have sf ac, but the whole nostalgia thing, and the fact that compared to todays games sf2 is lacking, mvc 1 or 2 is way better.
hrmm.. was thinking about picking this up, but thanks for the heads up! I have SF:AC anyway.
it is a lot more fun than people give it credit for. Has a nice old school feel to it, and I think it is pretty good. Nothing ground breaking, but it will keep you busy for a while.

Try Guilty Gear XX #Reload for an XBox fighting game if you're looking for something somewhat similar to Marvel vs Capcom 2. It's got a tiny roster by comparison (what doesn't?), but it's got the good speed and good air combos.

Thanks OP for pointing me in the direction of this deal. Been wanting a SNK vs. Capcom: Chaos for some time and was waiting for this price point. Does anyone know if it is B&M also? If so, then I'll just drive the 2 miles to the store nearest me and pick it up that way.

I tried this on NeoRage and thought it was ok. I guess I'll get it but these great deals you guys are posting are killing my cheap ass....

I'd only want it for the Live, and I hear that was shoddily done. When you can get GGX2 for the same price, or SFAC for $10 more, there's no reason.

I did a review on this awhile back in the cag reviews section. I have a strong background in 2d fighters, on both capcom and snk platforms. I like this game, but the AI is really bad, and unless you cheat to unlock all the characters, then its extremely difficult. (unlocking the godess and demon from "gargoyles quest" at the end.)

I liked this game, because of the old school feel, but at 20. I say wait for it to drop even more. At least 15.

The biggest flaw of this game, is that the computer can do unlimited, and perfectly timed supers. Sometimes its done over and over, so you will die from blocking. Or sometimes you get hit and have a lvl 3 psycho crusher done to you... then again a sec later.

And trying to go up against this, and unlocking everyone. Took me many long and frustrating tries.

If you have a few buds to play against then 20 may be ok. But try to wait for the price to drop a bit more.

In today's gamer world, this could have been so much better. Like capcom vs snk, or mvc. Instead this leans more towards SF the movie quality. Not as bad...but definetely more towards it than the other fighting gems.

I actually like this game a lot, but it's definitely not for everyone. It could have been great if they spent a little more time developing it, and a LOT more time play testing it. The biggest flaw is that it is horribly unballanced. The bosses are selectable, and sticking with SNK Tradition, they are very fast, very strong, and ultra annoying.

If you play on XBox Live, expect a lot of idiots using Shin Akuma.
i saw it B&M today when i went to get XIII (ps2) for 3 bucks
Do you know if it was the same price as it is online?

I thought that King of Fighters 99 for PSX was decent. Is it better than that game?
