i didn't see any rules against selling animals here...though i don't know if there are laws against this type of thing.

what i have is a female ferret that's already spayed and descented. she's absolutely addorable and very playfull. i have to sell her because an unforseen trip out of the country for several months came up and i have no one to watch after her. in addition to this, i am moving out of state after this trip into an apartment that will not be large enough to have a ferret in the bedroom and also may not allow the pet.

her birthdate is november 13th, 2005, and i got her from a respectable pet shop at the beginning of february. the following items are included with this sale:

.:whistle2: Cage (2’6”x2’5”x1’7”) (Platforms, Ramps, Litter Box, Hammock)
.:whistle2: Ferret Food
.:whistle2: Bell Collar
.:whistle2: Ferret Shampoo
.:whistle2: Furotone (Vitamin Treat)
.:whistle2: Toys
.:whistle2: Extra Litter Box
.:whistle2: Extra Hammock

i know it's sort of limited, but this is only open for pick-up or delivery in the flagstaff, az area. i'm asking $200 for the whole package, which i think is more than a fair price considering the cage costs near that on its own, and the ferret was about $120.

please reply or pm me with any offers or questions. thanks!

I don't know why you wouldn't try ferret message boards, rescue groups etc. instead of some video game website where you have no idea what quality pet owner would want it.

Though he's a large list of ferret rescue groups
http://www.ferret.org/links/shelters.asp

They may be your best bet for finding a decent home.

I don't really know any ferret boards, though just a quick google search should bring up a lot. If she was a rat I would know of a lot of resources.

Just be careful, you wouldn't believe some of the people out there. There are many animal hoarders who just "collect" animals and keep them in very poor (sometimes dangerous) conditions, or turn around and sell them. Some of them seem very nice. I volunteered in a shelter once and there are numerous cases that the police even get involved in, and it's rather common to find hoarders "outed" on message boards by observant users. One case the person was adopting small mammal pets from one board and then selling them on reptile boards as "food or pets".

I've never given up a pet, but I'm at the point where if I had to I probably wouldn't be able to find someone I trusted.

I currently have 2 ferrets of my own and wouldn't mind taking this one... if you lived a little closer. I'm living in San Diego, so if you decide you want to drag the little dudette out this way, let me know. Thanks.
