Features

In Spider-Man™: Friend or Foe, defeat Spider-Man's most famous enemies, like Venom, Doc Ock, and Green Goblin, then add them to your epic team of playable allies. Play as Spider-Man or a sidekick in ground-breaking cooperative multiplayer in exotic settings around the globe, including Tokyo, Egypt and Nepal. Inspired by the Spider-Man movies, this action adventure game reinterprets big-screen moments and battles with a humorous twist .

  • Fight against movie villains, then alongside them: Face off against infamous movie villains using an innovative combat system. Combat Doc Ock in his lab, fight Sandman in a construction site, and take on Green Goblin on the rooftop of Oscorp. Then turn the bad guys into good. Once defeated, they become your sidekicks.
  • Choose a sidekick from your allies: Pick from a long list of Spider-Man's allies like Blade, Ironfist, and Prowler, and swap between sidekicks at any time. Spider-Man and any chosen sidekick can unleash lethal combos against opponents.
  • Team up in two-player co-op: Share the fun with a friend! One of you plays Spider-Man and the other controls one of Spider-Man's powerful sidekicks. You can play cooperatively through every world, area, and level. Team up to accomplish more powerful moves that will blow away the villains.
  • Enjoy details inspired by the Spider-Man movies: Movie villains are just the beginning. You also get to experience costumes, battle scenes and spoofed scenes, all inspired by the first three Spider-Man films.
  • Come back for more, again and again: Replay each chapter with a different sidekick and even with Black-Suited Spider-Man. Unlock additional characters such as New Goblin and Silver Sable. Fight in diverse worlds, from an island jungle and a New York training ground to Transylvania and Nepal.

The demo isnt bad really. It plays sorta like Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Except the only crappy part is the poor camera that u can't move at all. Besides that i think its a gonna be a buy for me if its 4 player online. Anybody else's opinions or thoughts?

I wouldn't say its as good as MUA. Its just too kiddie, without the fun. Not being able to swing on demands hurts it for me. I also made it to the doors at Osbourn and nothing happened.

I was hoping that there'd be a demo for this. The Co-Op alone is what excites me...plus the fact that it should play like Ultimate Alliance.

Here is the secret CouRageouS mentioned when you enter PARKER3 at the official website that.

In the full game while on the Helicarrier enter the following directions on the D-Pad to unlock the New Goblin: LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT, RIGHT, DOWN LEFT

Man, that was terrible. I've been hoping for more third person games with same screen co-op, but I won't be getting this one. Between the fixed camera (which made for constant falls), the last gen graphics and the ridiculously frustrating Doc Ock battle, I'll pass.

I though tit was supposed to be like M: UA also. The preview that I saw of it around E3 made it seem promising. I'll try out the demo sometime tonight or tomorrow.

I tried the demo last night and I thought it was fun. It felt more like an old school SNES beat em up as opposed to M:UA. It's not as deep.

I tried this to its not a bad game I didnt find the jumping or anything to difficult I just found it bland looking graphically thats the only issue I had it was a fun beatem up though :).

What's wrong with everyone? It's basically the Spider-Man version of Lego Star Wars. I really enjoyed it for what it was, I'll most likely pick it up when it hits $30 or less.

This demo turned out to be way better than I expected it to be. If the final game has better design (using platforms to cross rooftops as Spiderman?! wtf!) this could be the best Spiderman game since Maximum Carnage.

I enjoyed the demo. It reminded me of an old school TMNT / River City Ransom type game. As long as this has 2 player online co-op, I'll be purchasing it.

As soon as me and my wife played it we both thought "This is Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks... replaced by spiderman and his friends and geared towards the younger adult."

I don't like the fact I kept re-spawning in the middle of air and kept dying over and over and eventually corrected itself.

Also it looks like unlimited lives except for the boss, but you can replay it over and over anyways?

Game is way too easy, but with some polishing it could be a great game.

Otherwise I would wait till it hits $30 or less. But if you really must get it atleast it will run you $50 versus $60 MRSP.

Thumbs in the middle.

I enjoyed it. Real oldschool arcade feel to it. My friend did not like it as much because of the graphics. I almost questioned our friendship because of that. I forgave him because he spent $15 dollars on Superman Doomsday which was a huge dissapointment.

Has anyone here on CAG bought/rented this game? I picked this up from Blockbuster and am looking for someone to co-op with.

Send me an invite if you do. Gamertag: destinywaste

I dont think its playable online is it? If it is im up for it. I rented it but i actually like it enough i might buy it for the b2g1 at TRU.

I rented it. Pretty good game. Except for the fact that ALL the moves are the same for almost every character. But it was good for a rental. Wish i had it for a little bit longer to get some more achievements.

Went ahead and bought it via trade-in bounty at EB. My son and I had fun playing co-op. Maybe a bit for the younger set, but fun anyway.

I just got my 1000 nerd points today with this. Me and the BF played for 2 days and beat it. Not even 2 days straight...but couple hours here and there. It's pretty fun! Luckily I got it from YourFree360Games and did not pay $60 for a game that lasted 2 days. It MIGHT last longer since only player 1 gets the nerd points..so we might play through again so he can get his nerd points. This will be for sale from me in a week I'm sure.

If you have someone to play with, this is a really fun co-op game. Perfect weekend rental, IMO.

And very easy 1000 points \\:D/
