I count 24 images. Just because they are mashed together into a collage doesn't mean it isn't multiple pics. As far as not being gratuiously lewd I disagree. A woman fully naked with her crotch spread open and touching herself is far more lewd than anything I've posted. It shouldn't matter what style of art it is. A woman nakedly masterbating is more lewd and objectionable than a fully clothed woman jumping about a little. As far as being spoilered I know for a fact that doesn't matter because when I was spoilering pics I was still being modded and/or nagged for it.

Besides that those images were taken from the game The Witcher which wasn't the topic at hand. The topic at hand was Steam trading cards. As far as I've seen content such as this would not make it into any Steam games trading card content. The images in question were in fact placed in the game The Witcher as a way to objectify women. So how is this different again? Oh yeah it's markedly worse.
what i boils down to is you're annoying so you get less leeway

Came here to post this. Honestly, if you weren't so fucking annoying about acting like you're being unfairly singled out and victimized for posting lewd images, you'd probably get reported less often. Its like when you tried to get people to stop making the brother's teacher's grandmother's coworker's pet's uncle joke and they just did it more. You need to learn when to keep your damn mouth shut.

Happy weekend, folks!!  Just wanted to stop by & thank you all for the discussions of JS's Idle Master.  I finally pulled the trigger & convinced a family member to do the same.  We both ended up on Mark of the Ninja at the same time, but I suppose we had about the same number of games to idle ... had a chuckle no less.  Anywho, having all these cards ... what now?  I'm going for waiting for sale time & offloading.  Can any of you vouch for increased card pricing near sales or should I just sell what I have & wait (only lvl 5 :\) for boosters?  Thanks for the replies!!

So I'm supposed to believe that noone is trying to single me out, victimize or silence me dispite people saying straight out that they are making it their goal to single me out, victimize and silence me? fuck off.

off.

Most people are happy to list for a penny under the current low and grab the quick bucks.  I personally tend to list for a penny or two OVER the minimum and still manage to sell off most of my cards (usually in off hours when available inventory goes down) and the rest tend to sell off close to the sales when people are trying to get whatever the latest card/badge-oriented reward is.  Realistically, I'm only making an extra two bucks per hundred cards but I also have a stupid amount of GabeN Funbux so I'm in no rush to undercut myself just to get the wallet up.

It's easy to get into the trap of constantly adjusting prices, listing stuff and trying to "play the market" for a mighty 77¢ an hour.  Just find whatever is the quickest way to get what you consider an acceptable amount of pennies and don't turn it into sweatshop-wage labor for yourself.

No decision should be based on boosters as they are random. I'm level 100 and get maybe 1-2 a week at the very most. Typically, 1 or 2 a month. The last couple major sales, card pricing hasn't peaked as much as it first did, but it did seem to jump up at the very onset of the sale and then quickly tapered off. Though, that may have been influenced by the introduction of gems. Honestly, if you have a lot of cards, it's probably more time efficient to just list them whenever. If you have few cards, you might make a couple more cents waiting for the summer sale. The real draw is crafting badges during a sale as you get more cards with each badge crafted.

No, you're supposed to shut the fuck up about it, the more you whine about it the more likely you'll get reported for the same thing in the future, what's so fucking hard to understand about that.

The winter sale didn't incentivize crafting the winter badge enough.  If crafting the winter badge had given points to a contest (no matter how pointless it was) or exclusive game items like the last couple summers, the winter cards wouldn't have tanked and people would have crafted more basic badges to get them, thus raising card prices.  IMO.

What a great way to start the morning!!! Some really awesome posts in here, let's keep it going and talk about something else fun, like going to funerals, or how Steam never has good deals anymore but we all check anyway (on second thought that seemed redundant)

FTFY. :D

Perfect.  This is the kind of thing I was hoping to see.  I've been watching for a while, but had never bought from Steam so I couldn't sell.  I just happened to get Bad Rats (felt like walking into the milk shop, dropping a quarter on some tooth rot) & am now sitting on an arseload of cards.  GTAV is soon to release & I was wanting to have some nickels in the bank.

The attitudes toward Steam practices have been steadily decreasing imho, so I'm not sure I want to rely on the hope of increased attention to Summer sale perks for an extra few pennies.  Hell, I'm not sure I even care about crafting(yet) what with all the games I'm viewing, wondering what to play.  I feel like the Snoop gif in somebody's avatar that frequents CAG.

Gah!! I mentioned playing games.  Please, no floggings.

Capcom is offering refunds on Revelations 2 if you're all bittered up about the lack of local co-op.

Fortunately, I have no friends so I never noticed the difference.

Edit: Claim was from PC Gamer but I haven't seen an official mention of it.  So now this topic is about ethics in gaming journalism and why PC Gamer would lie to me.

I got reported for Xenophobia and Blade got reported in the past and silenced. And Drabes has been reported too. I think you can guess by who. So no, it's not just you.

While there are other threads where people get away with wiggle and jiggle and what not like this guy in the weeaboo thread, what it boils down to is like it or not there's people riporting in this thread so as Neuro already said it's just better to police ourselves than to have the mods do the nuke-u-lar solution and delete a bunch of other stuff in the process. Because they don't care aren't going to be arsed to investigate and in case your haven't noticed our thread and our kind are not particularly well liked around here.

The Witcher T&A is from a game and spoiler tagged so it's less in your face and more on topic than some random anime or Asian girl wigglin and jigglin. If you want that there's plenty of other places for it. But I get the impression you don't even care you think think you are being martyred when in reality most of us here have been reported for some stupid crap or other at some point.

TL;DR - Give it a rest please. You're not the only one.

I tried to pick up ME again a couple months back and I did find it intriguing enough to get a couple levels into it, but if I remember correctly at that point motion sickness made me put it down again. And I could never get the FOV hack to work, so I abandoned it. I was getting into it and would have liked to play more, but for me first person is always awkward and unintuitive compared to third person, and it usually ends up being not worth the effort. Man, I don't know when's the last time I put any significant time into an FPS.
I'm sorry to hear this, I do suffer from it in some games, but luckily this one seems perfect for me and the distance I was playing it at (@5ft). If something is making me feel motion sick and it doesn't have easily accessible FOV settings I can usually find the sweet spot rolling my chair back a bit.

This, of course, is a whole lot easier a prospect when playing with a gamepad although I have played m/kb games with a shelf across my legs as a 'desk'.

Steam Streaming makes this even more possible. When that sweet spot is further back than I can roll this chair I just stream it out to a laptop hooked to the TV in the living room and plop my ass in the recliner. We're playing a lot more games out there at the moment (especially since it's winter and that's where the wood stove's located).

Side note: my gf bought episode 1 of Life is Strange from newegg the other day. She finished it yesterday and said she was pretty bored by it and didn't like it very much. Oddly, she's still telling me I should play so we can talk about it so I don't know what that really means...

It means: A) She doesn't want to spoil it for you. and B) It's like discussing an episode of a TV show after you watch it, she just wants someone she can talk to about it, like comparing opinions and theories for where the game's headed and stuff. Kind of cute, you should go for it (or if you wanna be cheap, you can just watch a playthrough somewhere).

A lot of people seem to think it's amazing and life changing, particularly I notice people from a certain continent that I'm not allowed to talk about anymore. I don't know, perhaps because I'm American and in particular from the Pacific Northwest it just rang really phony and hollow to me, like exaggerated stereotypes of what some French guy thinks about teenage girls and the Pacific Northwest based on Stephanie Meyer, Twin Peaks, reading shit in the news (OMG those teenagers today are all about the selfies!) etc.

I really wanted to like it but I thought it was just horrible and awful. There's a lot of people who put it up there with Gone Home and To The Moon and what not like it's some great emotional experience or something. I don't get it. *shrug*

Anyway, sometimes it's nice to commiserate with someone about how shitty something is. Like when I used to work in a store and we'd get funky smelling returns I'd go up to one of my co-workers and go 'This smells so gross, here smell it!' *shoves in their face*

This reminds me of when we didn't like a kid in school but the kid still made desperate, pitiful attempts at hanging out with us and being our friend even though we told him he fucking sucked and we didn't like him and finally we had to beat him up and then he would just say hi in passing but finally leave us alone.  God I miss law school.

I think Steam should make it's rare background drops be animated. Going through and gemming my refuse, I'd actually consider keeping the jello-snow-gem-man background from the winter sale if he was beboping around like he was on the store page.

I think it's most likely Motoki's 'C' option. She did mention that she hated a lot of the 'politics' of the characters (and probably by extension the developers) and knows I will as well and sometimes she likes to get me going.. although she does like to analyze games/tv shows as well so maybe Bobby's 'B' is part of it.

I'l probably just play her copy at some point in the next couple days but right now I hear her in the living room shouting at the TV and laughing at herself (she just started Batman Arkham Asylum for the first time) so it probably won't be today....

Why don't you just family share her copy? Get her a promise ring or something beforehand or at least buy her some Taco bell.

I leave for one day and the arguments surface... Time to restore some order ;)

BTW: Why do so many type "riported" and/or "riporting"?  Is this an inside joke?  It only makes me think of this guy:
