This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.
See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.
lol to each his own. I prefer using Moira and Natalia kicks ass with dem bricks. I'd happily play either character in co-op. The side characters are useful if you're playing them right.
Ah yes the company that everyone was flipping out about being the shadiest of shady sites way back when they were selling Homefront: The Revolution for 10 bucks. Good luck with that.
OnePlay started up in its current format back in 2008, where we sold pc games, and had a physical rental business. We’ve since continued our sale of PC games, but substituted the physical rental with a digital model, the OnePlay VIP Subscription where users can download and play 2.000+ games for a fixed monthly fee. -Battlepack loot is a joke (limited weapon skins that EVERYONE has)
-Shotguns are OP as balls
-Medics don't rez because they are baddies
(gun variety and customization is obv because it's an "old school" shooter...but still. Going from BF4 with tons of customization to bare bones is hard to deal with)
Meh, as long as its an actual name brand its all good. Besides gigabyte usually posts the best benches next to MSI's, they go back and forth with evga following up and asus usually being conservative.
besides on the 1080 the only way to get 2 hdmi ports is either gigabyte or asus, which is why I went asus so i could have 2 hdmi/2dp instead of 3 useless dp ports(i dont see myself upgrading monitors any time soon and need an extra for the rift)
EVGA has great customer service. If your card ever catches on fire. They'll replace it with a card that previously caught on fire but is now fixed so it doesn't catch on fire.

The Division 1.4 Patch Notes Thoughts (That very few will care about.)
I'll keep it short... It really plays differently now. Way more tactical and with less spongy enemies. I think its a positive.
I have four characters with different degrees of playtime. Like one has all the playtime and others not so much with hand me downs for weapoins and gear.
On the weaker characters, though they all qualified for World Tier 4, I pretty much got slaughtered relentlessly as I worked through the enemies on my season supply drops... I'm talking like 5 plus (likely allot more) respawns. Not really fun but I skipped straight to the hardest difficulty.
On my strongest character, I pretty much shredded the enemies though I couldn't just camp my smart cover and survive. I had to think tactically and use the cover and whatnot. (Like one would expect in a 3PS.)
The really unexpected thing was what I would consider one of my weakest characters is now rather quite strong... but I think that might just be because the gear set (striker's) and weapon (used an assault rife) wasn't messed with exceptionally so.My now weakest characters one uses double SMG (SMGs got nerfed in general and the two types he uses suffers even worst, PP19 and MP7) in an alpha bridge set. I'm positive a swap to AR and he would be back to wrecking stuff. The last character was using a shotgun and and a sniper rifle and the gear set that might have been wrecked the most. Shotguns suffered because of the need to use cover now and not just run up enemies. The sniper rifle is the one that got nerfed the most. That character is going to need allot of hand me downs to be really useful.
Loot is more plentiful but not as much as I thought it would be... BUT all modes seem to be extremely playable now so I can and do see that progression can be made without a ridiculous amount of time being invested and without venturing into the DZ.
I'll wait to see what happens with Humble today. Getting the full season is the best option if you care about the story and extra episodes, since Capcom decided to throw everything RE into a single bundle, including the DLCs, to inflate the price.
I'm simultaneously talking myself into buying The Division and not buying The Division. I wish Amazon would make up my mind for me and stop selling it for $16.

I hate to be a Mooby, but you can youtube the cutscenes for the sidestory episodes if you really want to know the story. The gameplay is really just a rehash of the main game but with an added stealth segment for Natalia (which is kind of shitty gameplaywise). Only worth owning if you're a RE fan or can't stand not having the "complete" game on your account. I mean, I liked the extra episodes for what they are, but most people don't care for them.
If one's in Budgetville - forget the 2GB 1050, not much VRAM. Not enough; too many games 1080p are passing 2GB on VRAM usage easy nowadays. Better off hopping towards 4GB 1050 Ti and spending the extra $30-50, if you ain't going into mid-range territory. I think what makes the 4GB 1050 Ti so attractive is it's small compared to most vid-cards, not using up that much Watts compared to most cards (so pretty much most mobo's + PSU's can handle it, even from crummy pre-built PC/pre-fabs PC) & it can be easier to "take on-the-go" (if you have an Video-card amplifier-box for your laptop, might be easier to lug around + not stress the box).
For those wanting some kind of future + looking for a new card and want to pass 4GB, I think the 6GB GTX 1060 is the best "bang-for-the-buck" (around $250 MSRP) at 1080p. You're future-proofing a little bit here, by surpassing that 4GB buffer. Should be fine for most 1080p gaming & maybe some games at 1440p (i.e. older games or games that you don't mind not maxing-out completely).
GTX 1070+1080 are for those really going for 1440p & above. It's overkill for 1080p, if you go by the benchmarks. If you're at 1080p now & you do plan to go at higher resolutions soon (i.e. you're looking at 1440p and maybe want to try some stuff 4K, planning to buy one of those monitors soon), you could go that route and future-proof. Personally, I think the 1080's overpriced - 1070's better "bang-for-the-buck".
7. What will happen to IndieRoyale and DailyRoyale?
IndieRoyale will continue to have awesome indie game bundles on a week to week basis. DailyRoyale will feature one great game daily at a massive discount.
Can you use the GMG 10% off voucher multiple times? I tried to use provista's code, but it said it had already been used. Would probably be better off using it on something else than saving 7 cents on RER2.

If you bought Indie Gala Every Monday 54, you can get a free Room 404 key by contacting the Urban Legends dev with proof of purchase (I sent a screenshot of my IG gift page and got a key about a day afterward).
Warming up to BF1 a bit more. A lack of teamwork, an abundance of snipers, only being able to customize your loadout in-game, and constantly getting kicked out of said customization every 5 seconds are still annoying issues. Also, Suez is by far the worst map in the game and Argonne Forest is one of the best.

The teamwork part is always squad dependent, just try to find a good squad or friends, theres a reason theres usually the same group of people at the top of a scoreboard in every game and its cause they are all talking and working together, kills/k/d means absolutely nothing in BF games and thats the way I like it
The loadout thing I assume is coming soon. You supposedly can change it from the companion app though I havent tried. You can also login to battlefield.com and change your loadout there, but from what Ive seen it hasnt updated with my changes in game so Im guessing that doesnt work at all as of yet

2 more days til new computer arrives, meaning I can actually play newer games in 1080p. And only 5 more years til those games and more then 33% off so I can buy them.
Actually tempted to say screw it and buy GTA V even though it's been cheaper, now that I'll be able to run it. Already picked up Fallout 4 a few hours after ordering the pc.

I was examining the Motoki memorial lot of games I picked up over the weekend and it turns out Farm Expert 2016 had Steam keys. It also included Farm Mechanic Simulator 2015.
Still wondering if the Viva Media rep will give me keys for the Viva Media games, heh.

I'm going to PM him to beware of a furry asking for Steam keys and tell them you got the games at the pulga for 25 centavos. #TrumpPence2016MAGABUILDLAWALL
Just notice all the metal gear v games are finally bundle along with the dlc for $39.99.
Is it worth rebuying on pc? I've never actually finish the game yet outside of the first few missions but I did enjoy the online mode.
Sales must have been bad. I watched it on the YouTubez. It's a pretty awful interpretation. Penguin is a 20ish year old thin Euro-model. Go watch some old BTAS episodes instead.
