It's funny how all the Star Wars games went on sale at the same time before Disney bought them.

And now only a few go on sale every couple of weeks.

I have, it seems ok so far. You should have picked it up in the BTA of the Humble Bundle it was in though.

Yes, I'm a big fan of what Volition has put out - so, don't get things twisted. SR2 was pretty good; SR3 was excellent; and SR4 was tons of us. Way back in the day, I liked the original Red Faction. Haven't touched RFG, RFA + yet. I have Summoner - ain't got to it yet.

Oh - plus Freespace games, which I have not finished: from what I did play...they're pretty damn good, too.

I still have on old retail disc-copy of Descent 2.

I did like it.

I really should look into getting the old Descent games, sometime.

 
That SimCity deal on Origin is really tempting me, just because is selling it at 75%. I know It don't includes any DLC... but after eyeing some Origin sales, I noticed they don't usually discount complete editions... or if they put those on sale, the discount is really bad.

It's only $5.5... and I know It's not a "simcity game", but if it is fun... it can even be a bit on the casual side...

Any thoughts?

I think they will make it free sooner or later to convince some people to buy complete edition, similarily like it was with Battlefield 3.

It doesn't include the DLC and the Complete Edition is a newer release so it hasn't gone on a super duper cheap sale yet but it will eventually. Give it time. It's already been 66% off once on Gamersgate. Just set a price alert at ITAD.

I'd wait for the complete edition. Especially so if that 50c isn't just tax.

It's fun enough to warrant a 75% off purchase. While the simulation does have some issues and doesn't really compare to SC4, just kicking back and watching your cities grow is quite enjoyable. I had less fun when I tried to micromanage an entire region. Put about 40ish hours into it and never once touched any of the stuff added from the DLC.

If you can use that 70% off on a Collector's Edition and then get a free Collectors Edition with the other code, you should be eligible for another free game.

But, I'm new at this Big Fishing thing. I'm usually just a small fish in a big pond. Or something.

Oh on that 70% / $2.99 code NEW299 to get any standard edition game for $2.99 at Big Fish, I don't know if you can use it once you create an account and 'buy' a game with the freebie code though. Not sure. It's a one time use on a 'new' account so you may need to use the NEW299 first, unless you have a different 70% off code?
