YES! YES! YES! I finally got a Katowice 2015 Cobblestone Souvenir drop.
open it! there is a Dragon Lore in there.... or P90 storm, most likely a P90 storm, don't listen to me

got 2 souvenir drops today, Nuke and Mirage though they are not worth much (I think its just $7 for both)

For those debating cities:

1) I dont think the deluxe is worth it, it gets you 5 extra buildings and some artbook n shit

2) I also dont think that traffic bug is too game breaking. Having a jacked up road structure will still hurt you when it comes to garbage, fire, police, and especially industrial/commercial cargo. They wont be able to get where they need to go. Having bus/trains/etc help remove the normal commuter traffic that impedes those services so there is still incentive to have public transportation even if it might not directly affect the commuter (it does also boost happiness in areas when you put down public transit)

If you think you'd play it right away, then IMHO go for it, the few bugs like that arent really that huge.  It also still beats the hell out of the other recent entries (simcity5, cities xl/xxl/xxl2/xxlplatinum/xxlwhatever)

Is Assasins Creed Unity and Far Cry 4 for $20ish worth it?? I can pick these up at my local frys
I can't speak for those exact games, since I ain't played them...

...but I'm a big fan of the AC series (especially AC2, AC:BH + AC4:BF) + Far Cry 3 was awesome.

If I had a nearby Fry's, I'd be all over this deal.

EDIT:

Both AC:U + FC4 retail each for $60 MSRP on Steam.

$10 a piece is better than 75% off.

I can tolerate UPLAY keys, for that kind of deal.

I agree as well. The traffic thing is really almost a non-issue and won't really affect anything you do unless you specifically try and exploit it. If you build a crappy road network, you will still have traffic issues. I picked it up and I've really been enjoying it a lot. To me it feels a lot like Simcity 4 (and that's a good thing). There are definitely some issues and the game isn't perfect but it is still really good and scratches the itch well if you are looking for a good city builder. There is one other "bug" that is kind of annoying though, apparently parks count for commercial, so if you build tons of parks expect to have almost 0 commercial demand. I believe right now the game is still discounted on GMG also.

I've been having a lot of fun with Cities Skylines but I'm not a hard core sim player so some of the stuff upsetting other people doesn't matter to me.  The game is published by Paradox but developed by the people who did Cities in Motion which doesn't have a ton of DLC.  The C:Skylines modding community is so robust that I can't see much room for cosmetic DLC; there's seemingly infinite buildings, road junctions, parks, etc on the Steam Workshop already.  I assume any DLC will be more core game altering than "five new ice cream shops!"

In my opinion it's worth a buy if you're going to play it now and it's fairly priced even at MSRP compared to other city sims.  Not that I'd ever recommend buying anything at MSRP :speaktothehand:  If you think it won't fill your deep-reality simulation needs then listen to your heart since we're probably different types of gamers.

Thanks for the Fry's tip, JohnHarker!  Picked up both (well, ordered both... haven't gone yet).  AC4:BF is still seeing high enough sale prices that I don't expect AC:U to be cheap any time soon and been waiting for a deal on FC4.

Thank You,

Debating between $20 on Ori and the Blind Forest or Cities :D

I managed to have a traffic jam of fire trucks on a one-way street while several buildings merrily burned. :D/

Oh, and agreed with everyone else that deluxe isn't worth it. I would have been more tempted if the five buildings weren't real life monuments. As is, I have no interest in plopping the Eiffel Tower in the middle of my town.

But that wasn't a Steam copy, so it doesn't count.
I think buying a Non-Steam game counts, but it doesn't STEAM-count.

Why stop at just one Eiffel Tower? No town's complete without a good 5 or six of those.

But what if the Eiffel Tower had been one of those buildings that "merrily burned"? Come on, the fun writes itself.

+1 to Cities: Skylines.

I was furious when the 3000 peons living in my meticulously arranged grid of 6-lane one-way streets only managed to use a fraction of the available pavement.  Then I realized I was being a dumbass and started over.

5 failed cities later, including one really fuck ing awesome flood, I now have a burgeoning metropolis filled with highly educated Ice Cube makers.

Yeah, Texas has a lot of locations, here in Houston we have 3 in the area so its easier down here.
When I lived in Houston it was still a pain for me. I lived pretty far west and the closest one off of 59 tended never to have what I needed and the one on 45 was so far away. Where was the third one?

Yeah, Houston is huge. Its the Webster (NASA) location. This is SE Houston, about 10 minutes from the Space Center.

Im going with the normal edition, the deluxe doesnt seem to add anything special.

Splinter cell Blacklist Normal or Deluxe? I'm about to purchase the normal edition
DON'T DO IT!!!! I recently uninstalled the damn game and Uplay due to the infinite patches. I didn't realize it till the 3rd time around when I looked up how many patches there are. Then I realized I won't live long enough to pass the looping patch.

Ill tell you what is wrong with you....escape from dead island was 75% off over at the indie gala store previously...if that doesnt stop you i dont know what will
Yeah, but it was 75% off at a higher MSRP so it was still more expensive. I don't know toaster math, so my numbers actually make sense.

Infinite patches? I never had a problem with any Uplay game through Steam. Are you trying the Uplay-only version?

Cities in Motion 1 has 13 DLCs, and Cities in Motion 2 has 12 (Cities in Motion 2 doesn't have a complete edition yet either). It's nothing compared to Magicka or Crusader Kings 2, but I'd say that's still a decent amount.

I think that was back when the MSRP was $40. It just recently dropped to $20 and is probably bundle fodder at this point (developed by Fatshark, the people who made Krater and published by Deep Silver, 'nuff said).

I tried downloading 1.03, when I finished the first time around, it downloaded again, and then again...then I said F it and uninstalled it all. I got the game in a humble bundle and I'd rather save the headache and play the game on the wii u.

The game wasn't on any bundle... maybe you bought it from the humble store? Then it is Uplay-only. I read bad things about updates through the uplay client. This one is Steam... it uses uplay, but the patches/updates are managed through steam

It could be the humble store. I tried searching past bundles but to no avail. Either way...I was not happy wasting all that time. I was really excited to play the game as Splinter Cell is one of my favorite franchises.

Does Fry's usually hold items I made a ready for pickup order and now it says that there are Far Cry 4 are unavailable, but will mine that on reserve be safe??
