So did some more reading on the paid mod topic and discovered several more issues with this system:

A) You make $0 unless you make $100 or more in sales. (Valve and Bethesda get all your money until that point)

B) You only have 24 hours to get a refund on a mod. Otherwise Valve recommends you ask the dev "nicely" (their words).

C) Nexus is getting a chunk of the 75%.

D) Another concern brought up (which is reasonable) are mods that break when a new update is out. What if the mod dev never updates the mod? Then you're SOL. There's no oversight, or QA.

More and more this is just seeming like a terrible idea. Of course none of these affect Valve or Bethesda's bottom line (besides C), so nothing'll be done about it.

fuck I think I'm actually willing to pay $5 for Escape Dead Island but I'm clueless as to "why". Also, I cannot find my pants. They were here last night.

Well, I want them back goddamnit.

And the fruit roll up that was in my pocket had better still be there.

OT

Is this a great deal or what!? or what

I was actually thinking of fakeybroing that on Steam, but I doubt Steam will fix this billing address issue anytime soon.

On second glance, my super coupon on GMG says I can get 25% off of either:

Killing Floor 2

Project Cars

ESO

Wolfenstein Old Blood

WWE 2K15

GTA V

Being that I'm broke outside of Gabenbux, I won't be using it but if someone wants me to buy any one of these on their behalf and can send paypal I'll be happy to help you out.

I think the KF2 and WWE 2K15 would be the lowest price so far.

Oh hey, I got one of those coupons too. So you *can* get a discount on KF2. :p
Well, I tested my code and it is giving me 25% off of KF2. The code you posted was a general 23% off code and the one I got seems to be a unique code probably tied to my account.

Edit:

Just tested it on the deluxe and it is working on that too. Also, seems to be working on multiple copies of the same title and multiple titles in the same cart.

Edit:

Had eugolywerd21 try my code on his account and he couldn't add it so these seem to be account bound. Knowing is half the battle (eulogy word thought it was "knowing is half the power" what a morans.)

I might buy it for that price....create a MysterD character and a Bruce Jenner character and have them "wrestle"

The Double Dragon Trilogy is $4.19 on GMG (and Steam). If you use the SAVE23-PAYDAY-WEEKND voucher code it's $3.23 (but you can't use GMG credit). Not too bad for old arcade nostalgia.

I bet this gets bundled at some point though. Hopefully.

Maybe I'll make a bunch of CAG characters and have a royale rumble

The mysterd match would be for the divas championship though.

I'm really talking myself into buying this now

They're coming out with the Bruce Jenner stuff now because he was involved in a traffic accident where 1 person was killed and 8 people were injured. He ran into the back of a stopped vehicle and sent it into the oncoming lane, and then hit the vehicle in front of it. I don't give a fuck about him wanting to be a woman, he took hormones on and off since the 1980's. They're coming out with this shit now for good publicity for the Kardashians, those talentless, worthless, false celebrities who contribute nothing to society except vanity and make kids today think that gold digging and plastic surgery are okay.

Oh, and Enemy Front is like $3 on Nuuvem if you haven't gotten enough war FPS games yet.

Have they fixed the bad emulation, missing endings, dodgy controls, and general DotEmu Android "Port" shenanigans?

No?

Then fuck that, I'll wait until it's in a bundle - hopefully in a Humble so I can choose to not give that awful company a single cent.

C) I'd read Nexus is getting 5% out of Valve's 30%, but I don't remember the source.

D) Imagine if new DLC broke old DLC.

pCARS was 25% off in the VIP room a few days ago, might still be

Who the shaqfu is paying 14$ for 10 bundle keys. They are even restocking them lol. Oh, I'm talking about this.
Wow, what a scam. I assume anyone who buys it will end up disappointed and not buying another one, but once you have one person's $14, it's not like you care about them being a repeat customer. Hopefully word will go around about the crappy selection quick.

They are even worse than bundle keys, free keys from IG/etc.

Yeah, I found out about the site because some fellow from my country posted about it. He was of course mad because he received:

Street Racing Syndicate

Marine Sharpshooter 2 Jungle Warfare
Battleplan: American Civil War
Chip
Commando Jack
Darkout
Chaos Ride
Dead Effect
Sometimes: Success Requires Sacrifice
Space Farmers
That game "Sometimes: Success Requires Secrifice" is kind of ironic lol They even put pictures of GTA V, Witcher 3, etc.

I like to think of that site like buying a pack of trading cards.   Like.. shitty $1 trading cards at a Walmart bargain bin.  Every once in a while you'll get a single good player.  But I guarantee you you'll have 8x copies of some shitty player to account for it.

You should stage a protest and possibly a riot. Show them your entitlement cards. Teach those suckers just who they're messing with. Free mods are an inalienable right and this bullshit MUST be stopped!

This is worthy of crusading against.

I mean it. Send e-mails and shit to developers telling them to sue these guys. They clearly do not have the rights to resell these keys.

If they can't pay 14 cents for a +14 lightning dildo hammer how they hell are they going to pay to the court costs and legal fees. Maybe Mooby can work the case pro bono.
I can assure you, a dildo hammer would be much more expensive than 0.14. Sex toys aren't cheap... or so I've heard.

Shame how all of these companies that were regarded as the "good guys" have turned out to be some of the worst in the industry. I'm talking about you Valve, and Activision Blizzard.
I was around when Steam became mandatory for Counter Strike, and how no one liked it. Honestly, I have no idea when Steam even became one of the "good guys." Like I've said before, if they end up in a financial pitfall one day, they have no obligation to let everyone keep the licenses. Except maybe in Europe.

F'm. If they think their dildo hammer can generate $400 in sales for a single payout.. good on them. But until they point.. they're just giving Beth and Steam all the profit. People are idiots.

And as far as price.. maybe I'm on the classy side but toys that I've seen that are any good go for the $100-200 range. And then some if you wanna add fun features like remote controls :p

Huh. I had no idea it was in that bad of shape. I'm going to wait for a potential (Humble) bundle but the $3.23 does mark the new all time low.
