CM11 a good version? I'm still at CM9, largely because it works and I'm afraid of breaking it by getting too clever.

All I really use my tablet for is web browsing, email, web-comics and the rare Netflix/Xfinity viewing. Sometimes I tell myself I'll play some Android games on it but, except for a few Kairosoft games, I never really get into them. I'd really rather game on the PC.

I bought a couple of the barrel chargers when they were clearanced at $5 each (or something like that) plus still set it on its charging stand at night in alarm clock mode.
It's not vanilla cm 11 but someone else's fork (Milaq I believe) but pretty near the same thing. Seems to work okay.

I have that stand too so mine doubles as an alarm clock. Conductive charging us awesome. Suprised that is taking so long to catch on.

I'm considering a Nexus 7 just because of this. It's a car install so cable clutter reduction would be a plus. Though, I'm testing the install with a cheapo Sero to see if it all works to my liking first.

It is good, one reason why I got the nexus 5.  My previous phone, evo lte, died because it got knocked off the night stand while it was plugged in and landed right on the connector.  The one thing that always seems to flake out early on phones are the micro usb ports and the inductive charging eliminates having to use it at all except when transferring data

Lol at this video so this kid let some random person remote/share play his system and they deleted his Destiny characters, it's fucked up but at least he learned a lesson https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QwERUow9lY

I hear that Comcast is actually 'decent' there now. since they have to compete with epb the speed has increased and the cost has come down. competition ftw, imagine that?
It's actually funny how all this varies by state and city. In Seattle we had Comcast and it was really fast and no monthly limits. In Atlanta we got it and it is slower and has a 300 GB monthly data limit do I have to carefully watch what games I download each month. Google is installing fiber here so I hope that forces Comcast to get with the times.

Hey guys, I live up north, and we get 2.2Mbps and Time Warner isn't allowed in our area. So STFU.

Well, when I was a kid, we had to walk to the ocean on shoes made from our own skin that flaked off in the baking sun (this was before trees and shade were discovered) and dip our penises in the water to lure out cephalopods that we had to milk just to get the ink to write with.

Women weren't invented yet in those days.

Done that. Done parallel port networking. I've even played a game networked through midi ports.

Lotsa L-ish Games in February update ...

Completed

LA Noire
Luftrausers
Life is Strange Ep. 1
Love
Little Inferno

In progress ...
Life of Pixel ... I got stuck a bit over half way through the game, it starts getting a bit too difficult for me. If anyone can get past the Gameboy levels, feel free to brag.
Lunnye Devitsy ... played as much as I can take, that game is bollocks.
Add Leona's Tricky Adventures to the list. This cat dictator is on fire.

Thanks for the game Motoki, I enjoyed saving those cute little woodland creatures. It was kinda a departure from my normal behaviour, I usually play with them for a while until they stop moving and then I eat them.

Oh snap, I forgot about Four for February. I've already beat Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Uprising and Castle Crashers over the past week. So I've only got 2 games left to beat to complete the challenge. But there's only 8 days to do it.

I guess I'd better get crackin'.

*goes to watch a movie*

That's how I always imagined God would look.

 and now...

A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

Right. One... two... five.

Three, sir.

Three.

Most of you may not care about this, cuz you probably got a free key from WGN.. but the Starlaxis dev is trying to pull a "it's a differen't game, no keys for you" excuse.

Starlaxis was in the Greenlight bundle #2

Sadly, the game in that bundle was the normal version of Starlaxis which never came to Steam... But you should ask our publisher about that: info(a)rokapublish.de Thanks!
For us it wasn't just a "little update", we spend a lot of time and money into this! The Supernova-Edition offers you improved graphics, more missions, better gameplay mechanic, a new commander plus Steam Achievements, Trading Cards and Leaderboard! So it would be great if you support us now again. And as we said before, you should ask our publisher, they're responsible for the distribution: info(a)rokapublish.de

Stupid, but not entirely surprising. So many of these indie/kickstarter devs are seriously crooked fuckers. Probably won't matter, since so many consumers are nearly principle-less.

Most gamers are a shame... first you should learn under what bad conditions devs have to work... those "contracts" are no fun, these are serious moneymaking papers... it's not only EA & Co, most publishers have conditions that would blow your head up...

Than it is clearly pointed out that this is another version of the game... and you payed only 1$ or less for this game (if not baker or whatever)...

At least the devs are thankful for support, BUT the publisher don't care...!!! Maybe a dev would be so nice and send you a key secretly/undercover, but i wouldn't do too when i read the most reactions like our last poster here... ;)

I'm going to make a game, put it in tons of greenlight bundles, then when the game is on Steam I'll make it free for everyone just to fuck everyone over.

Because I'm fucking evil.

Is this the thread where I come on and tell you guys how boring the Order is?  Cause it really sucks.  My PS4's been in hybernation for months.. and this is the crap it gets.  On that note.. I need to beat it so I recoup my "investment".  granted... it was a pricing error.. but still.  B-O-R-I-N-G... can't even get Steam cards from it.  Bah.

Hmm, I thought the idea of it sounded interesting. I mean not spend $400 to buy a PS4 interesting, but interesting nonetheless. Shame everyone seems to think it sucks.

Maybe I'll get it someday when it's in a bargain bin or something if I ever get around to getting a PS4.

My PS4.. 400 buck.... paper weight.  At least I use my XBO... (which is the total OPPOSITE what I thought at launch).

Honestly, my biggest beefs with the game so far:

1)  You walk.. every where.  Except.. it's all corridor.  Imagine.. FFX... except you can't run except for every once in a while.

2)  Everything is a QTE... you walk.. then movie.. then walk.. then movie.. then you hit triangle... then movie...

3)  The action doesn't feel right.  There's ZERO reason I should be able to NOT use cover, kill people, and not die.

4)  So because of 3... I've played entire chapters where I ran up and used triangle... unless the game otherwise forced me to do otherwise.

5)  There isn't any ramifications.  If you don't do something the game wants you to do, it resets you until you do it.  Maybe I don't want to save that person...

I wouldn't recommend it in any form... and if the reviews hold true.. then the game is gunna leave me in a cliffhanger.  At least the CE got a nice statue out of the deal.

And for all the "next gen" touting... I genuinely think if this was Steam I could really make this game play like a beast.  Instead, it clips... some textures go missing.  On a PS4.. that just seems... absurd.

I bought it because I like steampunky premises.  I thought it was a fantastic idea and the setting is pretty good.  But you don't care about the characters and the bits and pieces you get to link up the story are few and far between.

thanks for the feedback.. so much for Gears of War killer from Sony. The premise is good but the gameplay is so BORING and GENERIC. This is even worse than RYSE

I don't know why the fuck you'd need a Wii U..
I'm thinking about buying a Wii U.

Of course, I have done exactly zero investigative work to determine what games are on the system, so my desire to pick one up might change damn quick. But there's gotta be a Mario game, right? Maybe a Zelda game too. I haven't played either of those franchises since the N64 days. So that's over 15+ years of backlog (it's backward compatible, right?).

At the rate that they churn those Mario & Zelda games out, I might have 4 or 5 games to play right there.

Not sure why there is hate for the Wii U. They hone the best games by far but they are way to far in between.

Decoy for when people rob your house. "Leave the computer, let's take this Wii U!"
And that doesn't even make sense. lol

That's like saying "Leave the dollar, let's take this penny!".

I think WiiUs are sweet.   ...of course, I'll probably get mine when GameStop is selling the "converted to used" ones for ~$79. ...like I did with my PSPGo.

(I love my PSP Go btw, it rocks)
