This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

Can anyone comment on whether Indie Royale is good about adding Steam keys to Greenlight games?  I'm considering the Debut 24 bundle, but If I have to chase after keys, it's not worth it to me.

So, some random stuff no one needs to know, but I'm telling you all anyway because my cats are tired of talking to me. Went to convert my HTPC into a couch friendly gaming rig with spare parts. Through my 7870 in and nothing. Tested with a spare 6450 and it was recognized fine. Proceeded to buy a new 280, because. Won't recognize the 280, seems there's a problem with the PCI slot as I tested the 7870 in my server (should have done that first) and it works fine. (All this after testing three different PSU's.) Went out and bought a new MOBO hoping to RMA the current board as it's only 5 months old and sparingly used. So my spare parts build will consist of a new MOBO, new GPU and new CPU (cause why not at this point). Reinstalling the OS now.

Also, (unrelated to above) gaming at 1440 and no AA I find more enjoyable than 1080 with AA.

Oh no, another shitty Humble Bundle for japanerds.  

I got a Postal 2 booster.  It was worth .19 cents.  I unpacked it and got a foil worth .21 cents and two other cards worth .07 cents each.  It didn't make up for every other booster I've unpacked and lost money on.

Sometimes I get legit mad when people try to involve me in their weekend plans. I have so much nothing I want to get done and so little time to do it.

 
It's funny I still remember being amazed by some PSX and N64 graphics. While Donkey Kong 64 may not have been a great game (though I thought it was a very decent platformer by RARE....ah I miss that RARE), I was pretty impressed by the graphics.

I used to be really into Xena and was active on a now defunct Xena forum. On the last year the show aired there was a big Xena con in Pasadena and a bunch of us met up. I was one of the very few guys who went.

At one point we were looking for a place to eat but no place would seat a group of 12. Then we went to Hooters and they would seat us so it was me and 11 lesbians at Hooters.

That content, for me, is a 2 years after launch 75% off add on purchase. The base game, with level maker, is the only thing I've really looked forward to since the original was released. Easily my GOTY for 2012.

Yo Carl, I think you should provide how to get a game removed from your Steam account instructions, since you're clearly an expert on the subject, with some of your games like Into The War.

I can not believe this heap of garbage made it into steam. I'm starting to realize why people are losing faith in steam's ability to give us good games. I would never, EVER pay money for this. $5.49 is the biggest rip off that I can't even express how I feel properly in words. I HATE this game. I got this crap for free and I wish I could forever remove it from my account.
