Battlenet for Destiny 2 is fine. I'd be pissed if they made their own client for it, I don't want to install another one.
While i'd prefer Steam, Battlenet is functional enough. Just glad they're not going with the MS store/xbox app thing. I legitimately can never remember that I own Forza Horizon 3.

Looks like I'm going with D2 on PC if they're locking consoles at 30 yet again.

Bungie should really know better that framerate > flowery graphics when it comes to FPS games. Come on guys.

Every console game should Take the Nioh Approach.

Finally got around to beating Rogue Legacy.
Thanks for posting this! I love the genre, but I'd somehow forgotten I owned this one, despite its high praise. Since you posted, I've put in 11 hours and I have to agree... great game!

I do agree with your minor criticism though, if the controls were as tight as,,, say, Spelunky... then you'd have an all-time classic. As it stands, it's a terrific game. It's a shame they couldn't have gotten that 1% right.

Still, I'll echo your high recommendation. For sure it's one of those "just one more" games. I'm amazed at how good it is at evolving over time to keep things fresh.

I've never worried or agonized too much about fps limits. If a game is fun then it's fun and I'll play it. 30 is good, but 60 is buttery smooth great. So yeah I'd prefer at least 60 but I'm not too worried. PS4 Pro and Scorpio have a better chance at getting to 60, but on PC there won't be any question.

There seems to be rumblings Destiny 2 might have a later release date for PC. No confirmations though. :whistle2:k

EDIT: Looks like the PC release for Destiny 2 will be out later than console and delayed according to Bungie's Luke Smith via PC Gamer.

BF1 is definitely on my want list and I'm sure it would be quite the experience with the Spofobros. I'll have to ponder this some more.

The thing that doesn't have me excited about Destiny 2 coming to Battle.net is how Blizzard attempts to monetize all of their games.  I love the idea of battle.net for connectivity and anti-cheating, but they could very well ruin this game through microtransactions.

Battle.net and I had a nastry breakup five or six years ago.   WoW is one of the only MMOs I regret playing for as long as I did.  They just now started to earn some trust back with Overwatch last year.  But I have no idea how so many people have been riding Blizzard's cock for the last decade when they are the very definition of overreaching corporate greed which has been ruining some of the greatest PC gaming franchises.

Steam cards, TF2 hats, loot crates...Nope, no monetization on Steam

The new Wolfenstein games are idtech, but not Id games. They're Machine Games

also, has bethesda ever done a humble bundle?
Yes, I know MachineGames made them - i.e. some of the Ex-Starbreeze crew.

Maybe my choice of words + phrasing was poor.

I should've said "Id developed and/or published"?

Since pretty much, Id published these games, since the games are for their Wolfenstein property:

Later release is a little annoying, and I'm not completely against lower framerates when to comes to some console games, but I draw the line at fast paced FPS games. Especially with a game like Destiny, there's too much happening too quickly for 30FPS to be acceptable in my opinion. Amazingly CoD has always gotten this right, I think all of their games even on consoles are 60FPS (which honestly tends to be the normal for FPS games). I suppose it's no coincidence that frames per second and first person shooter have the same acronyms, lol.

For something slower paced like an RPG or casual platformer, 30FPS is good enough, but Destiny's framerate limit was one of my biggest disappointments in the first one. It just works against what the game is.

Destiny 2 a Battle.net excl00000000000000sive?  Guess that's another thing I can spend my $300+ fake Blizzard money on... but is it actually good?

OK. Was playing Dead Cells and, surprise!, the game is amazing so far. I'm not a big fan of roguelikes amd I'm liking this game very much. The pixel art is beautiful, music is great and gameplay is really fun.

Yes! I've been waiting for BF1 to go back on sale. Definitely picking it up. The question now is which version? Do you guys play the new maps on bro nights?
