New Bundle Stars live:

Reboot Bundle 4.0 - $1.99 (first 48h) [customspoiler=Includes]

 • Tropico Trilogy (Includes Tropico, Tropico 2: Pirate Cove, Tropico 3: Steam Special Edition and Tropico 3: Absolute Power)
 • Hard Reset: Extended Edition (Includes Exile DLC)
 • Inquisitor Deluxe Edition (Includes 2 book PDFs, an artbook PDF plus two-hour soundtrack)
 • Zeno Clash 2
 • The First Templar
 • Combat Wings: Battle of Britain
[/customspoiler]
Awesome. Been wanting to get Tropico Reloaded cheap. Now's my chance.

As others have noted, a good amount of repeats. I think Hard Reset and Zeno Clash 2 were in FPS Warriors 2, so they're the only repeats for me outside of Tropico 3 Gold.

Those Books and Artbook PDFs should be in the $1 tier, surely?

I've been really looking forward to Reboot 4.0, the other's have been great, but I own over 80% of these already =/
I think that's the point.

That's a pretty good price for Painkiller Complete aside from GMG (which I don't think has the Collector's Edition stuff).
Will definitely be considering it.

Problem is I already own Painkiller Black (though it won't show up when I go to the store page), and Painkiller Overdose.

Hmm. :whistle2:k

I'm belittling someone because they only played a little bit of the game and act like they're and expert on them.

I played two hours of WarZ, which I felt was a walking simulator with death. Although I didn't enjoy it, it's just that, I didn't enjoy it. Clearly there are some people who enjoy that stuff. Also reminded me of WoW on a PVP server... getting ganked while trying to pick flowers, also not my thing. I don't enjoy it. There's a segment of people who do enjoy it. I don't pretend to be an expert from my little time with it, it's not for me, enough said.
I can't speak for MysterD, but I'm definitely not claiming to be an expert on Diablo III. It just seemed like the comment I quoted from you was directed at a particular playstyle more than anything else.

FWIW, The War Z and other MMO-survival-horror things where people can randomly kill you and take your stuff while you're not even logged in strike me as the exact opposite of fun as well.

Comparing Skyrim and Diablo 3... sure on a personal level it makes sense but they are very different games that aren't naturally ranked against each other. It's like comparing Mass Effect to Super Meat Boy.
Agreed, but I think you see the point that I was making with that comparison: I played (and play, in Skyrim's case) both games in a similar fashion and there are other ways to play them that are probably more popular, but they're just different. It seems to me that MysterD was arguing that he does something similar to what I was describing.

Diablo 3 has changed and improved a whole lot (general consensus) with 2.0, continuing to dump of D3 v1.0 is old and tired.
That's certainly the impression I've gotten, and if all 2.0 meant was that Blizzard trashed the never-should-have-been-there-in-the-first-place RMAH, it would have represented a significant improvement. I just haven't gone back to it to really know what the changes represent, and I probably won't until and unless I find a dirt-cheap copy of Reaper of Souls somewhere.

I'd just point out that D3 v2.0 has lot of improvements available without RoS. RoS simply adds Adventure Mode, a new class (Crusader), a new area (Act 5) with a story conclusion, the enchantress craftsworman/NPC (for gear enchanting and transmog) & and an increase in lv-cap from 60 to 70 (with one new skill and one new passive slot). (And some new RoS-specific loot.)

Best price I've seen on AC3+SP... shady Uplay keys though... No steam/playfire 'cheevos.

Thanks! I got the runner-up.

Anyone think FF 9 will come to Steam? Been dying to play this for upteen years.
There's not a PC version of 9 anywhere yet, unlike 7 and 8 which had versions released a long time ago and just needed to be ported to Steam. There also doesn't seem to be a mobile version (which the Steam version of 3 is based off of), so I'd say for the time being it's unlikely.

Who knows though, Square loves to re-release games so it could happen eventually.

Probably not. FF9 never had a PC port like 7 & 8 did, iirc.

Just find a PS copy on eBay? :p

I'm gonna guess that all the games are Uplay?

As for the mouse, the reviews say it's pretty good, but that it falls apart after 6 months - a year, and durability's very important to me so I'll have to pass.

I've had mine going on for two years and have dropped it dozens of times, pulled it from the cord when it drops, abused it to hell. So as with all things, YMMV. I don't spend days playing clickfest games like WOW or DIII and I don't spill food or drink on it, so my suspicion is that the nerds who break it abuse it in different ways.

That's definitely a better argument. Didn't know you owned one yourself for so long. Alright, that went from a no to a maybe. Thanks.

Or check out an emulator.
How is she gonna play the game if she doesn't have a legal copy?

PSN

My mice last me many years, I'm happier buying one I like. If I had to replace my 10-year old MX510, I'd be looking at the G400/G400s (functionally similar to the one fox linked, but I'd be happier paying a bit more for one I really like). Just something to think about.

I haven't really used a desktop in over ten years, and I've adapted to using my trackpad for most situations that people don't like to use trackpads for, so for all intents and purposes, treat me as a complete newbie to mice.

Just how critical is a truly flat surface to precision with a modern mouse? I don't really have one available right now, and I like to game away from a desk, anyway.

You know what I want? I want to use Valve's Steam Machine controller when I game at my desktop. Like, switch to it from my 360 controller. Think I'll be able to do that? I would think I would. I like the idea of kicking back with my feet up at my desk (yes, I put my feet on my desk; I'm a girl: my feet are dainty and beautiful), and playing games that use the mouse kinda like I'm on the couch.

But God forbid I go to the living room one room over. Where there is actually a couch. And a PC attached to the tv.

I use my Logitech mouse on the arm of my leather La-Z-Boy. Maybe that's why I suck so much at FPS games.

Actually that's the bit of SteamBox thing I'm interested in... It'd be interesting for some feet-up gaming for games that aren't quite controller suitable.

Yeah, I use my mouse on the couch too sometimes when I'm on the laptop. I mean it helps to have a flat surface for precision, but unless you are doing stuff like competitive FPS, you will be fine on a couch.
Did you get it from BundleStars? Same shit happened to me.
IIRC I got it from Indie Gala. It seems that the bundle keys have a different ID.

I just put a thin hardback kids book that is about the same size as your mouse pad under your mouse pad. I can actually use a mouse on my bed now.

Painkiller Black Edition:

Store page is actually using Gold Editions store page.

Black Edition is just Gold Edition + DLC. Gold Edition is just removed from store.

As app id is separate it won't show owned (like Fallout 3 and Fallout 3 GOTY)

http://store.steampowered.com/app/39530/ -> Painkiller Black Edition

redirects to

http://store.steampowered.com/app/3200/ -> Painkiller Gold Edition

Ok Steam code and UPlay are pretty self explanatory.

But
Could someone please explain what a "KEYCODE" is from GetGames?
And is it a pretty good site?

That's what I do. I use a gaming laptop, sat on the reclining loveseat, a thin hardback book under my mouse pad sat on the drink holder/armrest. The other cup holder's free for my drink.

It's a pretty sweet setup if I do say so myself.

Which I do.

Cool, looks like I learned something today. Thanks.

That's only if I buy the bundle.. which I'm leaning towards not doing unless the bonuses are amazing.
My bad.

Another update - these are changing too fast!

FREE Game - Defenders of the Last Colony

FREE Game - Dead Bits

You say they're changing fast, but I think Dead Bits has been there for 3 posts of yours now. :p
