Pretty sure there is no way. I've tried adding the item manually using JavaScript, but they validate and it throws an error. Even if you managed to add it to the cart Steam has to be smart enough to not process a negative valued transaction.

It's simple why they do it. It's because Ubisoft makes more money on closed platforms (consoles). It's their belief if they made the PC version, which they claim 90% of people pirate significantly better, nobody would buy the less appealing console version, and they wouldn't make as much money.

It's to push sales of a version of their product they see more profit from. It makes perfect sense, it's just despicable as all hell.

I don't know how much overlap there is though. If I had known what I know now, I wouldn't have gotten my PS4 and XB1 and instead put that money into a nice system.

I totally agree. Would have loved the collection. I really enjoyed bit trip runner 2 and wanted to try the different bit trip games. But I guess the community doesn't know what's best for them and would rather have repeats of the past few days...

Isn't How to Survive supposed to be kind of crap? Thought I remember watching a video of some gameplay months to a year ago and it was...bleh (the crafting system might have been interesting though).

After playing almost two hours of Shovel Knight, I give it pretty high marks. Its amalgamation of various NES games works quite well and I think I can recommend it to people who enjoy the genre when it releases tomorrow. Just don't expect it to be of very high difficulty.

505 Games are trying to blame Valve for the DLC not going on sale in spite of the fact that almost every other game has its dlc on some sort of sale along with the base during the summer sale and the fact that they've actually never put their DLC on sale.

I got ALL excited after catching up with this thread thinking I must already own Endless Space and forgot that I bought it just like everyone else.  Steam and Enhanced Steam think otherwise.  It's gotta be an account glitch and they're just wrong.  I forget I've bought games all the time so I don't see why Endless Space should be any different.  They've made my coupons invisible too.

I was finally able to get it to run mostly okay by turning off vsync, running in borderless window mode, and limiting the fps through afterburner to 45. It mostly only stutters when driving after those tweaks. I haven't updated to the new patch tho, avoiding it. In borderless window, windows desktop does the vsync for you.

People play a lot of both. A lot of my friends have migrated to CS:GO but at least 30 of them still boot up CSS every week.

4 days left and I've only spent a lil more than 20 bucks out of 50 reserved for this sale! Still plan to wait it out for the Van Helsing complete pack for 5 bucks (gamersgate had it only a couple weeks ago) 75% off dawn of Discovery and Rymdkapsel under 3 dollars. I'm willing to spring for Influent at its current price if it comes to it since its a bit new but I'll be VERY disappointed if the Ys double pack doesn't go down to 5 like last year.

Much to my surprise GOG has had the better deals in just about every sale that overlapped Steam's (Grimrock for 85% off vs steam's 80%, GOG's Spiderweb pack having two avernum games steam doesn't and for cheaper) and they actually gave away games to *all* of its userbase. For free.

I wish consoles still worked like that. I only use my PS3 once or twice a month, and when I do, I need to remember to turn it on and try running the game an hour before I intend to play just in case both system and game require lengthy downloaded updates just to function.

That said, I still love my 3DS.

Ugh...this Summer is killing me. I realized I could have purchased a PS4, several games and a few controllers for what I spent on Steam during the Summer Sale.
