Hey Motoki, you were right. I emailed the guys from Zoo Rampage and said I voted but i didnt get a key and now i got a key for free. hahaha

Funstock Digital has PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX+ All You Can Eat Edition (Steam) for $2.55 ($1.97 using Paypal by keeping the currency converter to GBP, credit to rcsample at reddit). ITAD shows it to be a historical low.
Bah, shouldn't have bought it during the Summer Sale then. Oh well.

They asked me take a screenshot of games I've voted for. Guess there'll be no scamming for me today. :p

Confused on all the hate for me posting and instantly assuming I'm some lurker?
You know what they say about assumptions (factual until proven otherwise). It takes two seconds to upload an avatar, if you can't be bothered enough to do that why should I assume you're not just a random lurker?

I can confirm this works, but note the following:

Apparently there is a trick, do NOT use the currency converter drop down to convert the currency to US on the funstock website!. Leave the currency as GBP. Then when you check out via Paypal, you should see something closer to $1.97US.
You guise didn't mention the coupon code #FUNMAN to get that price. (EDIT except in the reddit post, whoops)

well alright then, to alleviate what seems to be an very odd concern hope there's no objections to posting in black face, unless there's a bunch of pc racially sensitive people around

Is this more faceless lurker scum or still the same one?

Either way they don't give a shit about CAG and thus can't be bothered to get an avatar.

PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX+ All You Can Eat Edition...

I had an unnatural obsession with this game last winter, mostly stemming from the fact that I could never find a deal that included the All You Can Eat Edition. Oh, and I like Pac-Man.

It's a good game for Pac-Man and puzzle/arcade fans. It's a bit one-note for modern gamers that demand complex gameplay, though visually it has been updated nicely. All of the achievements are reasonably easy to get, which should also appeal to those who enjoy getting 100%.

That stat is pulled out of their ass if they couldn't figure out the fraud a long time ago.
Yeah they didn't have a bot responding with keys. They probably just got butthurt about giving out keys and made up some stupid number to cut things off.

Kind've like the Praetorian pubs. "We can't generate more keys" (you sold 10k greenlight copies, you generate 100 keys and wonder why there's a shortcoming)

In the end it's some bullshit excuse that some devs are doing to scam their way to Greenlight

Interesting read on The Atlantic, about a stolen Sonic 2 development cart, levels cut in development, and eventual restoration in the Android version.

A Quest for the Secret Origins of Lost Video-Game Levels
How I returned a pirated Sonic the Hedgehog game cartridge to its original architect
Oh hey, I know the person who wrote that! We used to hang out in the same forum twelve years ago. Seeing her work get published always makes me smile, she's good at her job.

All of it could have been solved if their page that was supposed to check if you voted and give a key actually worked. They never addressed the real problem that their system was duct and that's the only reason why people had to email then in the first place.

Maybe they didn't want it solved. Seems to be the trend of "trying" to distribute keys then being like LOL OOPS IT NO WORK to try and save face

And by then everyone already voted the shitty game in and they got what they wanted. It's not like anyone has any recourse either other than screaming at them on the internet which they can censor all to hell because Valve gives devs total unchecked control of their forums.

This. I'm actually surprised how well generally these key-for-vote things have worked out.

looks like Soul Gambler (IG Greenlight) and Millennium 2 (a couple bundles) just were added. Time to get the pitchforks and shotguns to get dem keyz

It was the same situation like the Robot Rescue Revolution key giveaway.  The page is setup similar like them.  Problem at first, but they fixed the issue within 24 hours.

Is Soul Gambler on Steam still requiring IE 10 to run I wonder.

They were supposed to do some super mega deluxe version that didn't need it but that got posted to Steam awfully fast...

Edit: "Additional Notes: This game requires Internet Explorer 10"

Those idiots got greedy and couldn't wait for the supposed super mega deluxe version to get done to post it. The guys who are pitching it now also claim not to be the original devs but got it from someone else so I don't have a ton of confidence the will follow through with the super mega deluxe doesn't require IE 10 and runs on Mac and Linux version.

Seems like they don't have much motivation since they are selling the IE 10 version on Steam already.

It's also kind of a bait and switch because they got some votes by promising a non is IE 10 version that would run on Mac and Linux too.

Well that's one game I won't be installing, not until they remove that requirement. Yuck.

Edit:

Oh look, it's another game with a Deluxe version and no option to upgrade to that. Why do devs do this? Argh!
