You can sell to whomever you want. If you want your items to go to people who will be using them in the game (I have never played, wanted them for a trade, and found the site via Google), that's fine, but you need to put that and any buyer restrictions on the front page of the site, on the shopping cart page, and in the FAQ, at minimum.

As of now I think one of the stipulations is not having only 2-3 games in your account (was buried on maybe page 10 of these comments), which doesn't apply to me; and having the premium edition of TF2 or something (which I don't and didn't know was a thing), which seems to be posted nowhere at all associated with the site.

With the rules for buyers both vague and unlisted on the main website, you need to be issuing full refunds for canceled orders. The customers are not wasting your time by making purchases that will ultimately be canceled; you are wasting the customers' time with the complete lack of communication of purchaser requirements.

Just my five cents.

 
Warning

A European retailer just accidentally listed Dead Rising 3 keys for free. The site is down now, but many of the keys people got were given out multiple times so they may be duplicates. Additionally, there's a chance that even the ones that redeem will be revoked on Steam.

So be careful when buying Dead Rising 3 right now. Steam inventory copies are okay, but you might want to stay away from keys for awhile.

Seriously, how is this going to work come summer/winter sales times? Daily deals and such are one of the biggest things that people come to this thread for. The 3 days per post does make sense for console deals because they usually update once a week, but PC deals change daily in many cases, especially if a really nice HB or other bundle comes along

 
The offregion sellers just need to make dedicated threads I guess like Happy Wolverine did.  We can just go there instead.  

Edit:  Of course without the offregion folk this thread is going to GET about one post every three days once the dust settles. ;P  Ain't nobody hurtin' for stale indie bundle resells.

That would work, or sticky threads. Page views generate money for cheapy, so HTZ, please find a way to make this possible and put the issue to bed.

That would work. I used to do that for group buys. I see people listing their garbage Steam keys once every 4-6 hours in this thread. Hiding and reposting just to be the newest post in the thread is out of hand.

But with a 1 post per day rule, that wouldn't happen. I would never, nor would 99% of fellow cag members, try and follow 30+ threads. If that was the case, then why have this thread? That is not a solution, just another problem.

Also, I see most everyone getting even more upset with this "1 post per 3 days" rule in the coming months, as the steam, amazon, gmg, ect winter sales will begin. I thought things were fine the way they were. YES, sometimes it got annoying to see the same CAG member to repost his same 20 keys over and over, but that's only a handful of people and it was not that bad or out of control. while the rest had an always changing list of games and deals.

The things people come to this thread for (CAG FORM)

Daily Deals (New every day)

Weeklong Deals (Monday, all week long)

Midweek Madness (Tuesday starts this event)

Weekend Deals (Thursday starts this event)

Seasonal Sales Events (Every 8hr, 12hr, 24hr)

Random Publisher Deals (Can happened any day of the week for any amount of days with some having different prices daily)

Flash Deals every couple hours

Daily Deals

Weeklong deals

So please explain to me how CAG will still be the place for everyone to come together and trade and offer these deals if we can not see these deals from other cag members on an updated basis as they become available? Can we at least have this rule looked at just a little bit longer and think of a better solution to it? because the 3 day waiting period is most likely going to have everyone eventually wanting to go elsewhere to get the content that CAG use to provide

This actually seems ANTI-CAG once we get to sale periods, especially for folks who offer the sale items.

Perhaps some users can be pre-cleared to post daily, in the event of a certain number of new items to offer.

If it's the same old tripe, then 1 post every 3 days is appropriate.

But If it's a whole new galaxy of games, exceptions should not only be possible, but wanted.

The alternatives are:

1) each seller has their own thread.. which is worse, imho.

2) flash-sales are missed, because a seller has already posted within the last 3 days

3) each seller will be hit by a bevy of price-check PMs whenever a sale hits

So.. like sales representatives from BB and other stores have been cleared in the past, I would recommend established international sellers go through a similar clearance process, with the ability to update daily in the event of a flash sale. Could also limit the daily posts to flash-sales (meaning, they can't repost sales from a weekly post), while retaining the 1 post per 3 days for weekly sales. Or some similar compromise.

Edit your trade list. The rules have been in place for a long time (I personally think some of them needs to be change), I didn't just made them up right now. Create a thread in the feedback forum, that will get the ball rolling for some necessary change.

Remember this thread is for trade lists only, I don't want this discussion burying other people's trade list.
