It seems that PayPal has updated their fees, in Canada. Any international friends and family payment now is charged a fee equal to the amount sent, up to $2.99 CAD (for USA or many European countries) or $4.99 (for other countries). It seems that, if you want to send $1.00 CAD, you are now paying a $1.00 CAD fee. If you want to send $100 CAD, you will still only pay a $2.99 CAD (or $4.99) fee. This is brutal, especially for small purchases.Sorry to bother you all about this. But I just came across a PayPal situation and wanted to ask you all if you are experiencing the same thing. Apparently, if I'm sending someone funds as friend/gift payment to someone outside my country, I will be charged over $2 flat fee regardless the amount. So let's say I'm buying something from you for $2, in total I pay over $4 for the PayPal transaction due to these fees. I just noticed this today, but it never happened before. Anyone else come across this situation (ie sending friend payment to a CAG outside your country from Canada to USA or vice versa)?

I sent a PM on the 18th saying I wanted it, but asked why it can't be redeemed until the 27th and his reply was straight up just "because you can't redeem it till 27th", so I replied asking if it was uplay or steam and never heard back.same here
Its uPlay.I sent a PM on the 18th saying I wanted it, but asked why it can't be redeemed until the 27th and his reply was straight up just "because you can't redeem it till 27th", so I replied asking if it was uplay or steam and never heard back.
My PM was the same day. All I wanted to know was if the key was redeemable in the US. Didn't hear anything so I went ahead and ordered the game on Amazon. If I hear from them before the release of the game, I will gladly cancel my pre order and get it here. $30 saved lolI sent a PM on the 18th saying I wanted it, but asked why it can't be redeemed until the 27th and his reply was straight up just "because you can't redeem it till 27th", so I replied asking if it was uplay or steam and never heard back.
He originally had it at $45. My guess is the sudden influx of interest has tempered his desire to sell at $30.Well, he replied to me. Guess I was first, and was about to buy it, since then no replies lol.
Ah ok, I wasn't aware of the ASUS promo. I would have bought it with a little better explanation but he never seemed to get back to anyone. I guess I'll just wait for another deal since I still haven't finished the last two creed games. Its uPlay.
You can't get Origins' Steam version outside of Steam. Its the same way for all of Ubi's titles that have been released the past few years whether they were pack in promotions in the past (Nvidia, EVGA, etc) or if you bought the game somewhere like Amazon. Ubi outside of Steam is 99.9% uPlay editions. The ASUS promotion (which this is assuredly is as its the only promotion at the moment for this game) is uPlay.
And he's right about the redemption. For some reason, ASUS is not allowing them to be claimed until release day. Probably Ubi/uPlay's decision.
- Use the ASUS CODE on ASUS redemption site starting Oct. 27 2017 to get your Assassin’s Creed© Origins Uplay key
You dont even need one of them if you know somebody that has one. Even if they redeemed one on their PC with their card already, it doesnt matter. All you have to do is create a GeForce Experience account, have that person redeem the Nvidia key on it, they log out, and then you log in and redeem it to your Blizzard account. If you have a 1080 or 1080ti you could search for one of the nVidia promos, if not then maybe GMG is the best one.
Yes, but doesn't that mean that if i own the GPU, then i can't redeem the other warranty and product support that is linked to that card's serial number because all those goodies are now linked to his account? You dont even need one of them if you know somebody that has one. No. Not in the slightest.Yes, but doesn't that mean that if i own the GPU, then i can't redeem the other warranty and product support that is linked to that card's serial number because all those goodies are now linked to his account?
I PMed him and he wrote me back and I told him I wanted AC and he wrote back again. Still waiting on payment info. I guess I was first? Or maybe not. I just resent him a PM asking for the code and payment info. We shall see.makes no sense, why bother posting items for sale if you are not replying to potential buyers.
He could easily have multiples. More than one of us have heard back from him and are on the same "waiting to pull the trigger" step.I PMed him and he wrote me back and I told him I wanted AC and he wrote back again. I already got payment info the day he posted it. Told me to send the money while he sleeps, but I had one more question, then no replies. I wrote him couple times but still no replies. So no idea what's happening. He could easily have multiples. More than one of us have heard back from him and are on the same "waiting to pull the trigger" step.
