I'm slightly peeved.  I checked on the new best buy steelbook listings in store and those four new ones are all actually metalpaks. 

-Bridge of the River Kwai

-Lawrence of Arabia

-Zombieland

-The Equalizer

They all have metal hinges on the spine and are not steelbooks.  So the listings on BB.com are improper as they are not steelbooks.

 
My terminator Genisys arrived today and it was the steelbook.  Seems to be in decent condition too.  Now just waiting for the $5 gift card...how long does that usually take to get from Target with these types of promotions?  Should be instantaneous since they actually charge you $5 for the gift card.

Did they make new discs for the Complete Saga re-release? Because the OG Complete Saga release only had 3 bonus discs for all 6 movies. Kinda hard to split that up for 6 individual releases.

It's funny how people made fun of me when I asked  if it was a bad sign that the price was going down because there's wasn't going to be digital copies with the steelbook I guess I was right

 
Weird, so in the end I got my Terminator steelbook for $14.99 plus tax and today I received the $5 GC. I still don't know how I got an extra $5 promotional credit off on my order given that I got the $5 GC as well but I am okay with that.

 
did the price for the Star Wars steelbooks at Best Buy go up ($14.99 atm)?  I thought there were maybe $2 less when I was checking for a friend a while back.

I was sure they were $2 higher ($16.99), so if I wanted to buy them I would have to PM Target.

well I know for sure it wasn't the MSRP as I recall it being crossed out and had the SAVE text. Not really interested in SW and seeing as how there's nothing extra aside from the packaging, I doubt my friend still wants.

Now are the James Bond steelbooks just the movie with no extras?

Are you sure they didn't charge you $5 for the gift card? Target charged me twice for the order - once for $14.99 (plus tax) for the movie and once for $5 for the gift card. All came out the same in the end.

I only have one charge for $14.99 plus tax on my credit card statement and that was days ago with no pending charges.

 
Welp my order of the Star Wars steels was lost by whatever delivery service Amazon uses.  

Then on top of that they damaged my Fallout 4 guide so bad that I got a refund from Amazon on that one.

I actually don't mind that usually for me I get refunded and sometimes it just shows up randomly in good condition.

Thanks! My son is full on into Star Wars now that we're getting ready for the movie and word from the kids on the playground is the rebels isn't half bad.

In other news, I saw the Christmas Vacation steelbook at Best Buy today while returning the Star Wars steelbooks I decided against.

You're welcome guys. I watched a couple episodes when it started and it was enjoyable. Heard it got really good towards the end of the season. I put an order in and will decide as it gets closer to release.
 
Amazon is getting an exclusive run of Steelbook versions of EA's 5 game releases this fall, but the majority of them don't ship until Black Friday (with NFS being a week later.)

Front of case is game cover art & title is on the spine, not sure what's on back, probably the cover art again.
 
The Ant-Man BBE steelbook is down to $24.99 at Best Buy.  I have a feeling this may be the sale price at launch, but then again who knows.

Crap, can't believe I waited too long on this! It says sold out again. I'm sure it'll be in and out of stock occasionally, like the previous Marvel steels, but I better jump on it when it does come back in stock.

The Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation steelbook now comes with a digital copy of the movie with preorder:

I'm glad I jumped on Ant Man when it was $29.99, so at least I have a pre-order in for it.

Be careful those "pre-order the movie and get a digital copy free" preorders, as that's why people didn't get their Mad Max pre-orders correctly pulled, since the movie had a different SKU # than the SKU # on the pre-order. Nothing matched, so nothing was pulled for in-store pre-orders.

I just put in a pre-order on the 5-movie SB as well as the standalone SB for Rogue Nation. I think that if the 5-movie collection has UV DCs with it, I'll keep that and return the standalone one, since I need the first three movies on BD as I have them on HD-DVD still.
