It only took about 15 minutes doing the Flixster method and they even added the Justice League the Flashpoint Paradox to my account for the hell of it lol. I never had a flixster account but it allows you to link it to ultraviolet or vudu when you create one. Thanks for the heads up!
And these are some of the reasons I've gone 95% digital with my movies over the last few years or so. Vudu, Cinema Now, Target Ticket, and Flixster all with the ability to share the same library for the most part.

So I just got this email

Dear Anthony,

Thank you for contacting Flixster Customer Care for UltraViolet™. I appreciate the opportunity to assist you today.

We apologize, but we are unable to provide further support without a valid, unused redemption code or a photo of following items:

The redemption insert or the DVD / Blu-ray case showing the UltraViolet logo found on the front of the packaging.
The receipt showing the movie title you are requesting.
Thank you,

I got that response too, I did a chat instead. I think they are still opened. I took a pic of the front with my receipt and a pic of the back of the j-card. The front doesn't have anything, unless you haven't opened it and still have the Target Ticket sticker on there.

I trow the J-card out i Take a picture of the steelbook and receipt

The art is slightly different. The Target one has Baymax's reflection on the bottom without the armor.

I would like this one a lot more if Baymax was centered. There is just too much empty space on the right.

It's not a great design imo either. I ordered the zavvi so I can take out the 3D no one cares about but me and likely sell one of the steelbooks back at cost.

I know the info is floating around here and blu-ray.com, I emailed WB and they're about useful as an asshole on my elbow.
I don't know man, jogging, need to poop, don't need to stop...

---

I ended up finding 2 copies of the JL Target steelbook on Wednesday. I picked up a gift receipt if anyone wants one of them.

I like the target one better but wish it dis have 3D
It's Disney being on their anti-3D kick in the US, which started with Frozen and extended to Malifecent, Planes: Fire And Rescue, plus now Big Hero 6. If you want 3D, you need to order from somewhere else, such as Zavvi, to get the 3D. You can't use the digital copy code from the UK title in the US, so you may end up double-dipping to get everything.

Went to target again yesterday, for miscellaneous stuff, and found another Throne of Atlantis steel. Picked it up since they seem to be limited and I need to hopefully make some trades for steels I missed out on

So I just opened up my JL:TOA Steelbook... looks like some minor dinging on the top and bottom edges from that damn spider wrap. Worse damage is inside where one of the disc holders *fins* broke off so I have to be careful with the BR.  And of course no code....

Now will they give me a UV code or is it linked to Flixster??  The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 had this and I had so many issues between Flixster and Vudu with the code provided, until they manually put it into my account.

Flixter doesn't give codes, they will input the movie into your Flixter account which is linked to your UVVU account and then in turn show up on VUDU.

With this screw up, they should give you a previous DCAU movie for free........ I can't find my code that came with Assault on Arkham..noooo!!! what did I do with it?!?!?!?

I've been thinking it over and I decided I will likely be getting the Dracula Untold steelbook from Wal-Mart on Tuesday, provided it is under $25.  The design looks really nice and I've heard some good things about the movie despite the lower score on RT.  Not having to worry about buying a 3D version (which ultimately stopped me from getting the Hercules steelbook from Wal-Mart since the steel was 2D only and I wanted the film in 3D) is another factor.

Anyone else thinking of picking it up?

I haven't looked into it but now that you mention it, did they ax the 3D from coming out? Bastards!!!! The cover art looks nice, I think it's $22.99 everywhere right now so $25 wouldn't be too much of a ball buster.

HMMM.... a reset password request hasn't been sent to my email in over 12 hours like I did yesterday...checked spam not there...hmmm...  I know I have a flixster account.  If I could get my account details I can hit a chat and get the movie inserted.

I am picking it up since it is a fair popcorn movie and it is a steelbook.

Google something like "should I see (movie) in 3D?" and you will find multiple results.

One end result as an example:
http://www.cinemablend.com/new/3D-Or-3D-Buy-Right-Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-Ticket-66660.html

Cinemablend.com is one I find routinely when putting in a search like the one I mentioned above.

No 3D for this one:

I dunno.  Everyone has a different experience with 3d.  Lately all 3d has done for me was to make the image look glossy...very little pops out.  Godzilla felt very underwhelming in 3d.  The only movie I felt that used 3-d very well and worked for me was Resident Evil: Afterlife.

I was thinking that but it's listed 02/2/2015 in the first post iNdex

So what's the deal with some steels getting BR/UV/DVD and others just getting BR/UV and no DVD , yet charging full price?

Is it specific companies that don't involve DVDs? I've noticed it but I don't really pay much attention since I never use the DVD.  I really only get the Marvel steelbooks anyways.

DVDs are slowly getting phased out. which is why you see some titles get "re-released" as BD only when they initially release as combo packs. Revolution S2 and Arrow S2 have both been "re-released" as no combo pack and no digital copy, either.

It's hard to say, as you'd have to start checking releases to see, though Disney won't get rid of the DVD copies for at least the animated features, since most people that buy them use the DVDs away from home or for their kids. I do wish that with Disney's renewed push for digital copies in their releases, they would retroactively provide them for people that bought past releases that didn't come with them or when Disney re-releases it with a digital copy like Sleeping Beauty.

Dracula Untold (Steelbook) (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD) (Walmart Exclusive) (Widescreen)
$24.96 is this going to be cheaper in store or same price

It will be interesting to see how long BR will last once the new BR format hits the market. I say 5 to 8 years. I know DVD's have been around since the mid 90's.

So anyone else having trouble doing live chat with Flixster for them to insert the TOA into their collection?  It keeps on saying live chat unavailable...  I read about some of you guys are reporting that you get a SOL when doing an email and better success doing live chat.

wow..they sure are anal about that damn sticker in the front.  needed to send another one with the sticker.  Good thing I kept it.

That reminds me, I tried to redeem Batman:AOA over the summer but it said the code was invalid... misplaced the card and threw away the receipt and back card....grrr...  was probably the best movie I have seen from the DC collection so far next to DKR.

So same price then online price and how it's sold out online
