Same here, most pawns sell GC games for $7 when Xbox/Ps2 go for $5, It's nice though because since i buy so many games they give me a discount so i get most games for $3-$5. Sometimes they actualy call me if they get a new box of stuff in.

I meant the Xbox versions. Sonic Mega Collection plus/Monkeyball DX pack & Sonic Heroes/Monkeyball DX pack.

Sinbox, Dog's life is uncommon. For $5, you definatly should grabbed it.
 
Crap, I even went back to the sale to buy out what was left and i t was still there, They acted like they have alot of sales so hopefully i can get it later this year.
 
hey derrick1979 i live in milwaukee and have been looking for some pawn shops too. the only one I know that has games are docs and moline jewelry.
 
I have a bit of a question

A local pawnshop has a NES for 10 bucks, which I am sure I can talk down to 5-6, but it comes with no controllers or chords, and I have no idea if it works or not. Think its worth the risk?

Pretty unique find today for pawn shops around here, stopped at one on the way to work and got 4 common cart only Jaguar games.

Everyone, please ignore my post saying I will pick up games for CAGs for cost+shipping. I am no longer doing that, since twice already I have bought something & then the other person backed out. Sorry, CAG, but now I'm stuck with an extra copy of Yakuza & a copy of Resistance which i can't play. The only CAG who this does not apply to is Cranguy, if you want stuff, I'll get it for you.
 
I picked up Resident Evil 4 for Gamecube for $4 and that has become one of my favorite games ever. After I beat it I sold it to Gamestop for $12 knowing I was going to eventually get the Wiimake. So basically I got paid $8 to play the game! My dad then got me RE4 Wii for Christmas.

it was $16 after tax ($15 originally), so I am asking $20 shipped, and it's disc only. I have it on Ebay with a few watchers but I can pull it down if you want it.

Damn It!! Seriously i need to find a Pawn that prices all 360 games at $15. A few of you guys have them. I found one that had a universal price . .................... of $45 for any 360 game (including platinum hits and games like the godfather) and i found a guy with overlord but he decided to give me a deal of $35 because the gamestop sticker was $55 (even though i told him that was a old sticker) yeah another way gamestop has fucked me
 
MY pawn always sells me 360 stuff for $15, $10 if the owner is the one at the register, he's cool, I always take him electronics i find cheap at garage sales so he hooks me up when it comes to games.

But sinnbox does your guy have a nice selection (i would beat a nun with a stick to get mass effect for $15 or less) or is i all like sonic and godfather and such?

sorry to make you hate me, lol. Ya, I got Mass Effect afew weeks ago, and today I got Turok, and Dead rising, just in trade for a DVD Player!! HE dosent get much in but when he does it's usualy good stuff. some people in my town will go buy a a $60 game beat it and trade it within a week, they had army of two in 2 weeks after it came out(I didnt get there in time.) I have also found some sweet stuff Like Rival Schools and Alien trilogy(long box ed)for PSX for $3 apiece.

another pawn up in Fort Wayne(about 20 miles) sells 360 stuff for $9.97, but they never have much in stock.

well if you find any imports (gundam, anime-esc, rpgs, etc), LMK cause ill most likely buy if i dont have it already and i wont back out!

I actually do have Mobile Suit Z-Gundam for sale for cost + shipping. Cost was $8 so shipping should be around $4 if you want it. It's in great condition.
 
Found Ninja Gaiden Black for $7 at a pawn shop yesterday.

fucking finally... I only have about two pawn shops that are close to me, since I refuse to go the 20 - 25 miles to Tampa which is already pretty combed over (but has like 10 times the pawn shops, no joke, but the gas kills me to come back empty handed), and it took me a loooooooong time to get a hold of this game.

I got lucky since someone just sold them about 12 or so Xbox games, all the rest of them were shit except for this gem. Sure beats the Ebay price / Gamestop's $25 used price. Was complete too, just has one scratch on it... manual is a bit beat, but saving a good $15 - $20 (After tax) makes it worth it.

I saw Fatal Frame II, but not at a pawn shop. It was at a Blockbuster up the line from me near the NY border for $15. It was missing the manual, but the disc and case art were mint(disc needed some dusting, that's it).

How much would you want for Yakuza shipped(for which systemand is it complete/mint)? My zip code is 18504. I figure you could ship it first class as long as it's not too heavy.
 
Fatal Frame II...I missed one of those last fall, I saw it at Blockbuster and was fresh out of cash!!

I know what you mean, I have the problem of buying anythign that i knwo is a good deal weather i'm gonna play it or not...Thankfully I can throw them on GameGavel and get my moneyback.
 
This is why I'm now kicking myself for cleaning out the local Kmart of their HD-DVD drives and buying 4 seasons of 24(seasons 2-5) from a thrift shop in NY because both of them are sitting here and it equals up to over $60 sitting in my room collecting dust right now.

I may try the one flea market here on Sunday(assuming I don't melt to the pavement when I go outside my house due to the heat the next week or so)and see if I can get one of the game/movie guys there to buy most of it for $50-55.

LOL, I always sped way to much on games, I have a bad habbit of withdrawing $100 each friday and using that at Fleamarkets/Garagesales on Saturday then using my Debit card at the Fleamarket on tuesday...I also hit K-Mart pretty often, they actualy tagged the HD drives when they dropped to $50 so i missed them(another guy hits clearance also but he mainly only grabs tagged stuff.)

See, I was lucky because the HD-DVD drives were shoved in the back(and covered with dust), so that's how I scored all three at my local Kmart.

But apparently someone must've just recently hit my Kmart and hit it hard, since every remaining copy of VP2: Silmeria and some other clearance titles disappeared since I grabbed the drives.

I may still stop back and grab a PS1/PS2 memory card adapter before they disappear too, but I'm still debating that at this point.

I just hope the flea market guy takes one of the HD-DVD drives on Sunday or so, since I may end up returning them once they're out of the system, so I know they'll truly languish there.
 
IATCG-My copy of Yakuza costed $9 after tax and it usually costs about $3 (2.80 to $3.25) to ship so if u want it for $12 shipped, lmk.

Got Valkyrie Profile 2 for free today. My freind bought it for $6 on out last venture out but didn't like it so he gave me it along with Echo Night. Is VP2 better/hard as VP1?
 
Is Yakuza complete and what system is it for? Minty or scratched up? I just wanna get those questions out of the way before I grab it and find out it's a generic case copy.
 
It's almost perfect. The only flaw is that in the disc holder the pawn wrote "77" to know where the disc was. It can be easily removed. If I'm not mistaken, PS2 was the only system it came out on.

I'm gonna have to think about it, but I know if I don't grab it, I'm sure someone else will. I wish the pawn shops around here sold games for $9 after tax, most times you're lucky to get out the door paying $15 BEFORE taxes.
 
Well, looks like 80% of my pawn hopping is comming to a close. I was in a minor accident today (rear ended someone, not really any damage but it was reported), so I officially dont wanna drive anymore. I have always hated it. And, being that I work just to pay for gas/insurance/rent and have maybe $10 left over, I decided just to sell my car & buy a bus pass. I will most likely now only visit the 2 close pawns & just go to the further ones if my mom passes by while on the way back from a relative's house. Well, I guess this is great news for my local hoarder.
