I missed out on the games universe deal and I just remembered about the game today. My total after shipping and tax came to $32.30. It's the best deal I can think of. If something better comes up or there is a preorder bonus somewhere else, I'll cancel this order.

Tales of the Abyss

Use the coupon code TCHFKFCN at checkout to get 10% off. Expiration date is unknown.

Your order is not charged until it ships.

Not bad! That coupon basically takes care of the shipping charge, and since the game's MSRP is $39.99, this is a pretty good deal. I bit, especially since the order won't be charged until when the game ships.

I just hope they don't end up cancelling these orders because of a "misprice". I guess we'll just have to wait and find out.

Anyway, thanks chaarlieee!
good way to answer my question.. that explains alot.
It was said in the first post. You're not charged until it ships.

I just pre-ordered it, and on the email, it says:
Please note: At least one item in your order does not yet have a price. We'll e-mail you once it's announced by the publisher. (Don't worry--we won't ship until you approve the price.)
So, I guess it'll probably jump back to $39.99. If it does, I'll just cancel it.

If they don't honor the price the have it at right now, I get to complain.
Yuh, but do you have 10% off? Or maybe a price guarantee?

Edit:
No you don't because the confirmation email stipulates that the price is not final. The most you'll get is probably,"Oh, ok. So don't buy it."
I don't get to complain? What is this, a law?

It doesn't really matter to me if it says the price is not final. I can just go buy the game somewhere else if they don't honor the price, but I still want to complain about them listing a price and then getting a confirmation email that says the price is not final.

Hah, hah, hah! Oh wow! Whatever. Bump Target. I'll wait until it's $20 at Gamestop anyway.

Just got the same thing. Oh well.

lol, same here. Man that was fast. >_<

Not currently available? It's a fucking preorder. Those idiots. :\

EDIT\Guess I'll be ordering this at Walmart.com. It's actually just a couple dollars more anyway, I just hope it doesn't get cancelled too. :\
Same thing happened to me too. Does WalMart charge you right away or not until it ships?
From previous experience (I preordered the "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children/Final Fantasy: Spirits Within" bundle from Walmart.com) I don't believe they charge you until your order ships. I can't be completely sure, but I'm fairly certain that's the case.

Eb/gamestop just added limited edition laser cell when you preorder Tales of Abyss.Sure, it cost an extra $10 buck compare to Target, but considering this might be a highly collectable item.Xenosaga III artbook are fetching as much as $30 and Tel-elos poster from gamecrazy going as much $60.Sometimes it worth preordering just for the bonus, that alone might able to cover the cost of the game.

An artbook might have ALMOST made me cancel my gamesuniverse.com order, just because I have the other 2 Tales artbooks this gen. But I'll pass on a laser cell.

A laser cell is enough to make me throw down a preorder, get it and the game, and return the game the next day (since the bonus isn't listed on the receipt) ;) Then I'll grab it from some other place for $29.99.

meh, I'd have to see the cell first, or my Walmart.com preorder would have to get cancelled before I'd pay the extra $7. Even then I just asked one of the CSRs at a EB close to campus and he gave me one of the Xenosaga III artbooks, no problem.

Still good to know though! Thank you for the info!

Thanks for that info. I preordered one. The laser cell looks kinda ugly so I can just put it on eBay.
