This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

Multiple copies of both Tabula Rasa and Timeshift for PC for 12.48, Christiansburg, VA location.

Not new drops, but good for those that are looking.

And why hasn't Def Jam:Icon for 360 dropped yet? Thing has been at 29.98 for a few months now on the clearance racks.
 
No new drops at my local Target - gaming chairs still at $27.98 (although there are some in the Furniture section as well, so maybe they'll drop with housewares), Spider-Man FoF and Bee Movie 360 as previously noted here, along with the PC games already mentioned.

Picked up Tony Hawk PG LE (360) for $7.34 today.

Hadn't seen Kane & Lynch PC posted yet - saw it clearanced at $12.48, down from $49.99. If I didn't have a Mac, I'd have jumped on it.
 
Got Jericho PS3 for $24.98 in Dublin, Ca. They had one copy left.
They also had a sports game for PS3 for $29.9X, can't remember which one but it might have been hockey 2k7. In any event that one didn't seem much of a deal to me.

The biggies are Kane & Lynch as well as Timeshift for $12.48. :)
 
Issaquah WA - Jericho PC at $12.48, Kane & Lynch, Timeshit and Universe at War PC all still $24.98. GFlex gaming chairs down to $19.99, still too expensive.
 
target in burleson,tx had kane&lynch, two worlds, tabula rasa(pc versions) all 12.48. Also the target exclusive Halo heroclix 2.48 if anyone is looking for these. tony hawk PG for wii was still behind glass but marked at 34.48.

Got myself a copy of Jericho too. The Targets in my area suck monkey nuts and never have anything good on sale so I was surprised to actually find it. :bouncy:
 
Folklore was about $41 at my local Target. Would have bought it if it was $30. I know $10 difference but I'd rather save as much as I can. Plus I already bought a brand new Warhawk w/headset off eBay for $45. Only problem is that it hasn't come in yet. Took the seller 5 days to ship it out and its been almost 2 weeks since then. Thought I could handle the wait since hes known for being so slow but now its killing me. I was thinking about buying the last copy of WarHawk at Target and return the eBay one but I forgot if it would be completely sealed or not. Might as well wait let some lucky gamer get the last one.
 
Grand Rapids has Elebits for $27 and believe it or not, Ghost Squad rang up at $29.99. (Rang up item not found at the price checker but the after the real register scanned it, $29.99 came up after about 3 minutes.

They also had Timeshift and Kane & Lynch for $24.99 each.

So much for finding a good deal.

Which GR store are you going to? The one on Alpine? I've noticed that the deals there have been disappearing over the past year. Think it has something to do with the new Play-N-Trade store that opened down the street. Several times I've seen them selling stuff (at full retail price, of course) from the Target clearance pile that wasn't there the week before. Same goes for the Circuit City clearance games too.

Nope...It's cause when I'm in town I get there first (and have connections). ;)

But no seriously, they have various different clearance sections at the Alpine one and also they don't have as much Clearance in the open.

Where is the Play-N-Trade at near Alpine??

P.S. I have noticed the CC right by that Target always being absolutely raped in the Clearance game area.

Nope, went to the one on off of M6 in the Gaines Township Plaza. Never been to the Alpine one.
 
The Strongsville Target in NE Ohio has the worst display of clearance titles - there is none! They're all still in the glass case. For the Xbox 360, some, like Spider-Man: Friend or Foe have red stickers on them, but the price listed on them still states an older price of around $34.98 or so. Same with games like Blue Dragon, too. They also still have Meet the Robinsons still in the glass case, but when I punched in the DPCI, the game is out of Target's system, but the game is still in the cases for $39.99 or so.

Nah. Fellow local CAG. PM me if you're looking for stuff in particular and we can help each other out. I mainly look at Target for decent deals on 360 games when they're clearanced. Isn't the Strongsville Target awful? I have better luck at the Great Northern Target.

Most of the Targets around here are poor. They usually have stuff when it's first announced at 30% off. But nothing ever stays around long enough to drop down to a CAG price.
 
Just picked up Breeder's Cup (Xbox) for $4.98 today. Saw Blue Dragon but it was still priced at $29.98. Hopefully it'll drop next week.

The Play-N-Trade store is right down the street a mile or two. It's right across the street from Wal-Mart and inside some kind of mini strip mall. I've been there 5 or 6 times so far but have never bought anything from them. Prices are *okay* but kinda high. Still better than Gamestop though. And they cary PS1/DC/NES/SNES stuff too.

Yeah, the CC clearance section blows. I usually have better luck at the one on 28th street. That's where I scored a couple of the $25 SanDisk 4GB pro duo cards at christmas time (which just happened to be another clearance item Play-N-Trade was selling)

I bought Meet the Robinsons for $2.46. The guy gave it to some chick with a super scanner of sorts since it wasn't ringing up in system.
It was the only one left.

This Target was the ghetto one on Yale, between 11th and 21st. The one on 71st rarely has the stock to sustain the big markdowns like that (with the exception of stuntman on 360 for 24.00 a few weeks ago). It's also near the campus, so I can make quick trips there.

If you add me, when I find good deals I can let you know where they are having them. I go to broken arrow's gamestop as well, so I drive around a lot. Anyway, no competition from me, Im new to CAGing anyway :p

Picked up Tabula Rasa, Timeshift and Kane & Lynch for $12.50 each. Saw a bunch of console games on clearance. Here are the one I remember:

Some So Cal Targets still have some Star Wars Ep 3 Xbox and NFL Street 2 Xbox for $7.48, but I doubt anyone here is interested. They make great gifts though.

Another title I remember seeing, Tiger Woods 07 Xbox $7.48

Alright, I will have to pay a visit there in a couple weeks when I go home from school for break. Quick question as to a better idea of the location, is it on the North side of Best Buy by the SuperCuts, or south side across from Fire Mountain?

More competition than I thought. Back away from my North Canton Targets.
 
Clifton Target has loads of PC games, but a shitty selection of clearance console games, all of which are at 30% off. I only took one Kane + Lynch for $12.48 for Goozex, so all the rest are still there.
