Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

good luck[/quote]It's YMMV, but I think the Halo controller is an extreme YMMV like when only one store here clearanced the Logitech Xbox Wireless controller. Seven stores had them, but only one clearanced them and NOONE else posted in this thread that they saw the same deal at their Targets. I only remember a couple of people have actually gotten the Halo controller on clearance. As for GRAW 2, has anyone gotten it clearanced on 360? I haven't paid that much attention to it, but I know the PC version clearanced out recently and the PS3 version is clearanced, but has anyone confirmed the 360 version is clearanced? Also, possibly adding to the confusion, the 360 version of GRAW1 is clearanced right now.

I nabbed Blue Dragon this evening for $14.98. Looks like they took them out of the case since the one copy I found was sitting with the other clearance games. I saw NHL 2K8 but it was still ringing up $29.98 (PS3). Technically I got the game for $9.98 since I was able to use the $5 off coupon. I bought about $45 worth of merchandise total (groceries and a few other non-game or toy items we needed). I had the coupon with me so I figured "What the hell, all they can do is say no". I even told the cashier that I didn't know if the coupon applied. She took it, scanned it, it deducted $5, and said "looks like it does".

It look like another CAG visited the store ahead of me. There was a stack of about 4 clearance titles sitting right next to the price scanner in the area.

I did get Kameo over a year ago for $7.48, so I kind of wondered how true that was. He did tell me about how clearances applied to other electronics as well. Quite the helpful employee.

Clearance prices do bottom out at 75% off, but I think it's 75% off whatever the price was when the title entered the clearance cycle, not the original msrp. Since Kameo was likely $30 by the time it entered the clearance cycle, it bottomed out at $7.50.

I feel your pain, since there have been numerous warnings in the Kmart thread, as well as the guide thread to keep the trade posts to a minimum or keep those requests in a seperate 'discussion' thread.

It never works out though, as is evidenced by the discussion thread I made for the game guide thread, which has gone mostly unused.

Apparently, even a stern 'warning' from the head cheapass himself hasn't deterred the trade posts here(of which I've been guilty of and will go and remove post haste NOW).

Yea mine has a huge (its own end-cap) of cords and a few other things.
VGA for wii, 360, and Ps2. 12.xx. Ps2 probably was cheaper.

AV cords for ps2, 360, and wii. I think some hdmi cables too. memory card for 360.

ALL CORD WERE Psyclone brand.

Also 3rd party 360 dance 31.xx pad and steering wheel. Not sure the price of the steering wheel.

Some other stuff. They had literally 10-20 of each. Exception, was the 360 memory card.


All stuff was 30% off.

Just got back from Target in Grand Rapids. I got Lego Star Wars (X360) for $9.xx and Jericho (PC) for $7.xx. They also had Crackdown & Stranglehold for $29.99, Universe at War for $12.98 and Avatar for 12.xx.

All the clearance was at the backside encap, after my wife and I sorted the massive pile of stuff, we were looking in the case and one of the Target employees said to the other, "you gotta see this, I really like this." We felt like saying, "we did that for ya, buddy". haha
