This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

Went to a few targets today. All of them had the playstation eye and eye of judgement at full price. Guess everything just sucks where I live.
 
I was hoping to buy The Club (PS3) for $14.98 this week, but they were all gone.

I got PaRappa the Rapper for $9.98 instead, which is still pretty sweet.

I actually remember when you told us that the time it happened. Wasn't his excuse something like the clearance copy had to be sent back or something?

yea I think I said that the manager said the one on clearance is on "recall" while the higher priced one was ok to sell.

The only difference between the two was that one had a free movie ticket to see FF:ROTSS and the other one didn't.

I remembered when the manager said they were also recalling the gamecube version I stopped him dead in his tracks and said they aren't making any new game cube games.

I saw 1 copy at my local Target too. Somehow is the WORST Wii game ever made. I highly refer DS version instead.

2 copies of Heavenly Sword in Galesburg, IL for $29.99 along with a ton of copies of Scarface for PS2 @ $9.99. Also saw NBA 2K8 for PS3 for $19.99 and several copies of Tony Hawk Proving Ground for 360 @ $19.99.
 
I have an update, the huge stack of pokemon mystery dungeons are back at my target and this time they are marked to 7.48 each, they must have shipped them out and returned them to the store, weird stuff. The pokemon guides are gone good thing I got mine when I did, there were a couple other guides for cheap like 2.50 each. The pokemon XD gamecube skin is down to 1.25 but I already have one on my gamecube and one extra skin! I found a few out of the system items, some disney music player and something else I forgot what it was. Anyone know what they do with these when you bring them to the register, do they just take the price on the sticker or do they assign a new price to it? The clearance games are really cleaned out here, not much left.

Picked up the Club for PS3 for $14.98 and Guitar Hero 1 for PS2 for $19.98 at the Target in Ocala.

Also had Shrek for PS2 for $9.98, GT 4 for PS2 for $9.98, NCAA Basketball 08 for PS2 for $7.94, DK Jungle for Wii for $34.98, and quite a few of the red Pokemon game, the newer red one, for $14.98 for GBA.
 
I don't mean to only post to make unreasonable requests of the OP/MOD, but when a DPCI is posted can we get it added to the OP? That would be awesome.

Dang if anyone is able to get F1 Formula One Championship for PS3 GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!! The game is selling for $40-50 new on Ebay. I bought one copy for $15 and man I wish I would have snagged the other 8 copies that were there!

Is that a new clearance game? I dont think ive seen one for awhile and kinda remember someone saying it was a clearance game from awhile ago?
 
snagged Timeshift for 9.98 AC... decided i wouldn't see it any less b4 it sells out so i went for it, also i found 2 pink batteries that came out of nowhere for 2.98 a piece and got them (even though i have 3 white and 1 black battery)
 
Found 3 copies of :ps3: NBA2K8 for $19.98, 40+ copies of Donkey Kong for $29.98, and about 8 copies of some magic trick game for the DS which i belive were marked down to $14.98. Also found a PSP carrying case marked at $17.98 which I will have to wait awhile for the price to go down more to at least $12.
 
Snagged Zelda TLP for GC for $12.48 and The Club for PS3 for $14.98! (Hid both two weeks ago when they were both, $30 a piece ;) They also had the Beavis and Butthead UMD compilations for $7.48 (passed on those) Also that MX vs ATV game for the PS3, there were tons but they were still at like $35 or $30 on clearance. Also Tony Hawks Proving Ground for 360 was $19.98 (Stashed a few of each for next time) :bouncy::bouncy::bouncy::bouncy: Also, Heavenly Sword is STILL for the 3rd week in a row, $41.98 :(
 
I can't find HS (PS3) anymore. I printed the UPC (711719813224) and it always scans at $59.99! ... even at the store that had it on clearance for $29.98. Go figure.

Yesterday, I stopped by a new Target I normally don't go near and picked up 2 copies of :360: COD2 (Special Edition w/ bonus DVD) for $9.98 and I was able to use the $10 off coupon on each. Heh, I figured I could push it 1 more time. Coupon had the original expiration date too.
 
Yeah, I tried once to use the 360 coupon past the expiration date. The guy tried scanning it, but never actually scanned it. Then he noticed the date. I told him how the store I used to work at had a grace period and he said, "Okay, I'll try it one more time." Then he held the gun at it without actually scanning it. He apologized and said, "Yeah, it won't work." YOU DIDN'T EVEN TRY ONCE!
 
Needed a new pair of sunglasses after losing mine, so I popped in the Denton, TX store. Here's what I remember:

CoD 2 (360) - $9.98 (3-4 copies)
Viva Pinata (360) - $9.98 (3-4 copies)

Since I was getting sunglasses anyway, picked up The Club for $9.98 after $5 off $25 coupon. Now I just need to play it and see if I want to keep it or flip to blockbuster.

Found a lone copy of The Club (ps3) for 14.98, picked it up but still deciding if I should keep it. Also scanned HS and it is ringing up for 41.98, may pick it up if I can find it for under $25 I already beat the game once on a rental but I really liked it and would like to add it to the collection.
 
I found MX v. ATV PS3 for 28.98. It was 10.00 cheaper then at the TARGET near my house. I also found a Wii Fit..This woman had 4 of them in her cart! I got the last one..Im deciding if I should keep it.:roll:
 
What's the deal with Heavenly Sword? guess its just my Target, they still have it for 59.99 as I checked with the DCPI numbers
