This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

Hopefully UT3 ps3 will drop to 9.98 tomorrow and I can score one. As well as Scene it 360. 2 Targets near me have a few copies of each. *crosses fingers*
 
I scanned COD4 (PC) and it came up as not in the system. I took it to the checkout and the cashier called an assistant to find the price. They looked at the back of the store where the other clearance PC games were and said that since most of them were $4.98 then COD4 must be too.

Most likely those are out of the system and have been "salvaged" by now since they are months old.
 
I tried doing a return and repurchase today with one of the Wii cleranced games but bummer got denied, hopefully it gets back on shelf tomorrow morning

at the target by me it has been there for 3-4 weeks, only one copy, so no one is buying it here at that price

also Smackdown vs raw and UT3 for the ps3 and battle of the bands for wii were still 19.xx or 20.xx, no markdowns for them in my area.

It is in some places, I scanned the UPC for it in 2 different Targets last week, one had it at $9.98 but didn't have any instock and the other still had it for $19.98

I'm hoping the second Target might have dropped it to $9.98, cos they actually had a few instock.
 
Found the COD4 (PC) over the weekend at Tustin Market Place Target, and the CSR wants $ 49.99 + tax for it. It's not in the system. I told him that it should be 90% but he doesn't want to sell it for $ 4.98 so I left it there.

Also found 5 X360 GTA 4 at $ 62.98 and a lot of others but still at $24.98 price (Condemned 2, Nights, etc). Crazy prices..
 
Well, I finally got around to stopping by Target in Mt Juliet, TN during lunch. I generally don't go b/c their prices are never near what I see posted here. For once they were. I scanned all with my barcode sheet to validate the prices. I'm gonna stop by another one on the way home hoping they have Bully.

Picked up Viking and Condemned 2 for 360, both for 10 bucks. Lost Odyssey had dropped to $29.98 but I passed. I'm hoping for one more drop on that one.

I checked 2 other targets today during lunch and they have yet to lower thier $9.98 PS2 games down to $4.98 so I can say not all targets are lowering them today.

Damn,, I forgot to check on the 1 copy of Viking that was lingering around that I had my eye on.. I was happy to score god of war, FFxii and KUF that Viking completely slipped my mind..
 
Spiderwick Chronicles for the DS was $3.74. Which is weird since the clearance sticker said the original price was $29.99 and it was now $3.74. It was not an as is sticker.
 
Anyone know the DCPI numbers for a couple of things like Lost Odyssey or Grid and the GTA specail edition. My target is way to lazy to check these out of the case for me so it would help alot

Well shit, that's what I should have done. I had a copy in hand the other day and had a young guy in Electronics price check it. Came out OOS, He tries with the monster antenna price gun, then goes walking to the isle, sees a COD4-$49.99 tag and tells me that's the price. Will head to front register next time.
 
Has anyone seen a drop in "Scene It" for the 360 yet?

I tried doing the same thing with COD4 today. Found the last copy and told them I found it in clearance and now it's not scanning on the price checker. After some running around the store the lady told me it was $49.99 and not in their system...

Woot. Snagged Kingdom Under Fire at the Chandler, AZ Target on Frye Road by the mall. It was 9.98, and they had three copies left.
Their lone copy of Unreal Tournament disappeared... hope it didn't drop to 9.98 and I missed out. Nothing else really notable. One GTA SE for 62 still.
 
Skate PS3 dropped to $19 here. Any word on Unreal Tourney for PS3 hitting $10? It's been $20 at the one Target near here for weeks.
 
Picked up The Club for $12.48 and GRID for $29.98. I was psyched to get GRID since I first read a review of it.

I don't know much about The Club, but at that price, I figured I had to pick it up. Anyone try it here? I'm going to check out the demo before I unwrap it, though.
 
Finally found and picked up the last copy of Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword yesterday. Woot! :D

Perhaps the fact that it was red tagged for $24.48 put the casual bargain hunters off. I have it scanned and sure it was $8.74. It's odd that I didn't see it in that store 2 weeks ago.
 
My target had The Bourne Conspiracy for $29.98. If anyone is interested, I could pick it up for them if they have something I'm looking for or if they're willing to pay a little extra for shipping/time/gas.
 
SQUAT for drops today. All DS, PS2, PS3, and most 360 games did not drop.

The only drops I saw today were:

360- GTA SE is now $44.xx and DragonBallz dropped to $30

Wii- Simpsons game dropped to $15 as did NBA Live 2008 and Smackdown 2008 dropped to $7.48

Transformer DS $9.xx :ds:
Probably will pick up GTA IV if it drops again next week, along with DBZ. There were like 6 GTA's so I'm not TOO concerned about it selling out...
