Target Clearance Thread XXII

app says $99 for me,  but once you get in a store and get on their wifi, it changes to that particular stores' prices (most of the time)

Picked up Bose SoundTrue headphones for $53.98 (DPCI 057-01-1500) and they had the Mario Maker Cube for $2.50 (DPCI 207-00-0418).
 
Found a HP Deskjet 1510 printer on clearance for $24.98 while I was picking up the Target Exclusive Jurassic World Combo Pack. DPCI 056-03-0015. I'm not sure on the quality but I did need a need printer to replace my old HP.

If it comes with ink, it is cheaper to replace the whole damn printer.

Sorry dude I drove to one target which said they had two guy was also there saying he used brickseek haha we both ended up empty handed. Called one store even though it said they have none said we have one ill hold it for you it was not clearanced tagged.

So i found a target that had some of the clearanded Vita titles but ar crazy high prices with clearance stickers. If i returned them to my local target, would I be able to rebuy them at the lower price?

As always, yes/no-maybe so. YMMV. If your local Target has them in the system at lower prices, and if they allow you to return/rebuy, then yes you can get them at the lower price point. You may also get denied on the repurchase after returning them ("I can't resell them to you they have to go into the electronics go-backs until some later time when they get put back in the electronics secion") or they may be out of the system at the other store (at which point if you returned them, chances are they would be "salvaged" out).

Gotcha. Thanks. My local Targets clearance section always sucks so I was excited when I found those Vita games at a distant Target. Oh well...
 
It is always YMMV but I've gotten pretty lucky with the following: Yes, I'd like to return them unless you can do a price adjustment. They usually follow-up with "Let me see. Ok, we're not supposed to but I'll do it this one time."

 
I barely do it unless it's a very VERY great deal. Last time I did it was for a $500 50in TV that was $180 at another store. I was told I have to wait for it to go back on the sales floor. Fine with me. When the store opened I returned it and waited in front of customer service until someone came to put it on the sales floor. Since no one else was there they really couldn't give me BS about it taking 1+ hours to do. I followed the guy as he put it back on the floor. Immediately picked it back up and purchased it for $180.

I remember one time after returning something I immediately went to someone working in the dept and told them someone had returned the item and I wanted to purchase it. The employee went to CS, grabbed the item, changed the price and handed it to me. I talked to a manager afterwards and told him his worker went above and beyond and should be commended without giving him the details.

 
was grabbing assassin's creed when I saw a printer/scanner marked down from 150 to 45 the epson expression premium xp-620.  I remember someone mentioning it on SD or maybe it was this thread but the DPCI is:

056-03-0051

seems like a pretty nice printer, see it selling on amazon for 100 from a third party. I think it's worth it just for the ink but idk if I'm a keep it or not.

I have the xp-600 and the thing I dislike is that even when the black ink is good, all the color ink cartridges must have ink too. Not that I don't need them, just annoying that I can't print anything when they do run out. I'm sure this isn't the only printer that does this. The color ink actually is used when printing black ink, which is why all are required. Just something to think about before purchasing any printer. I got it mainly for printing to cd/dvd's .

edit - before anyone says "but they mentioned xp-620", I can read...

yea but chances are they are both like that, most are like that these days to sell ink faster.

what about the scanner? can you use the scanner if there is low ink levels? my current printer won't even scan to my pc when I have low ink...............like wtf. and pretty sure thats an epson as well.

Really don't need the printer but seems badass for the price and is basically like the purchase of new color/black ink that's usually close to 40. Haven't opened it but I assume there's ink in there.

The scanner works fine on the xp-600, though I find that ridiculous for any printer to limit a function that can be done without ink. I understand if it not work if you were using the copy feature. Even if you open the box and there is no ink, I would hope you could take it back if you choose to.

yea it was ridiculous, was troubleshooting different ideas for a couple days and saw that could be the problem on forums. It would give some error like no scanner connected. once I got the new ink tried it again before opening and putting it in, didn't work. put it in and instantly worked, no need to reboot, didn't have to restart the windows scanner program or anything.

 
Has anyone played around with the $10 off $50 toys purchase/$25 off $100 toys purchase coupon that expires tomorrow?  Specifically wondering if it works automagically on Legos (despite the disclaimer of "not valid/applicable on Legos").  Target rarely codes their coupons to correctly deny such limitations, however lately they seem to have been "getting them right".

ha it is a very nice set, I think it's well worth it, especially to someone who comes across it randomly and never played it. I have zero use for the game and haven't looked but pretty sure it'll be trading under a buck.

man this was at $15+ for a long time, then the second it drops to 7 all the copies anywhere around me are gone and it even looks like the dpci is out of most of the stores systems
