I think talking about dogs is a lot better than some of the nutso ways these things get off the rails, however I did let myself so way off topic as well. Targets are dead out here lately, so I hold out hope
 
Anyway, back on topic. Just check the other day, nothing to report. Few games I checked out of system. ( sega genesis collection, Diablo collection). That’s it.

I asked my buddy that works at Target, he said he hasn't seen much of anything going on clearance lately. Mind you I asked about video games, tech, etc not all departments.

SARS was way worse. Just like this is worse than most seasonal flus. You're not even comparing the same order of magnitudes.

Flu is about 0.1%. COVID-19 is about 1%. SARS is about 10%.

The reason it's a big deal is because that rate is about the same as the Spanish Flu, with a higher R0. That flu killed 40-100 million people.

Was under the impression that this was supposed to be a Target deal thread and it turned into a discussion thread about dogs and viruses. Can we please take the completely off-topic discussion elsewhere to where it is appropriate?

On Topic: My Target hasn't had any clearance worth mentioning in Almost two months. Even the Valentine's stuff was lackluster. It's like they aren't even trying anymore. As much as I'm not a huge fan of Walmart, they are really kicking Target's butt when it comes to clearance games, and $50 new release games.

So my dog doesn't have covid-19, which is already more deadly than the flu. Whew, no need to race to Target to find clearance masks, mostly because their clearance items have been nothing of note in months

And the next closest holiday would be st patricks day so we have until after that for any clearance at best besides random stuff.

I saw these one dollar kombucha at Grocery Outlet, and I haven't tried them yet, but they may be that brand. The name sounds really familiar.

Same exact story here. It's only at one store and about 20 miles away or so. It's a smaller store and it may not even be on the sales floor because they don't have a ton of room there. It's showing $80 everywhere else. Kind of tempted but I think I'm gonna hold off for now. It might even drop at other stores as well in the meantime. Didn't some overseas versions come with a 6-button controller instead?

I think the best deals I ever got from Target Clearance were Mario Maker 3DS for like, $8, as well as Sonic Mania Plus (PS4) for super cheap ($12 I think? dont remember).

I don't know, but historically speaking 'slime' was a thing on Nickelodeon going back to the 1980's on a show called "You Can't Do That on Television" and long before the whole more recent slime-making fad, so perhaps it could have something to do with branding as it relates to that sort of thing.

I did get mine for < $20 over Christmas at Target somehow though, I don't recall. I think I had a price match or adjustment. But it seems like the gravy train on Ubisoft Gold edition price merging has been over for quite some time. I used to check on this listing weekly last year.

This might be the Deluxe Upgrade which requires the full game separate from this. The Xbox version shows on the picture that it is the Deluxe Upgrade and not the Deluxe Edition that the PS4 listing shows. Not sure if it's worth the risk or if Target will refund you for the listing error.

I took one for the team and it is indeed not the full game. That would require a separate purchase.

I got the last copy of Judgement, but my mom distracted me, and I forgot to add the extra 5% off to my wallet. I did have $6 of free Target gift cards saved from using Shopkick, so I only payed $12-ish. But, it would have been nice to get that extra 30 or 40 cents off.

It's a spinoff of the Yakuza games. If you like those, you'll probably like this. It has the same kind of beat 'em up/rpg gameplay. And, you can go into SEGA arcades in it's semi-open world, and play arcade games.

I've noticed Targets around me are getting stingier with clearance percentages lately. Rarely does something reach 70% off now. From what I've seen once they reach 50% they stay like that for a few months until they get bought or removed from inventory.

Mine will do 70% most of the time, but never 90% like they did years ago. I noticed a lot more "repackaged" stickers instead of clearance ones though, and I am under the impression those don't get marked down regularly like the clearance ones do. Is that true? A lot of the repackaged items are still sealed, so I don't know whats up with that.
