Where is the weekly ad?
They ended the weekly ad for more rotation of deals. Please check the homepage and deal link for the current deals.

I can't find a trade in value for an item?
It might not be tradable or calling a store to find the value may be the only option.

How many copies of a game can I trade in?
You are allowed to trade in 4 copies of the same game (same system) within a rolling 30 day period.

Are there trade limits?
Yes, $500 cash minus some electronic trade ins and or $2000 trade credit in a rolling 30 day period.

Can I use the $5 monthly coupon on gift cards?

Yes you can in store but not online please note not all gift cards will apply to this rule.

I have a $XX.xx pre-owned reward certificate, and I want to use it on a B2G1 transaction. Should I?
It depends. If the three games are equal value, do not use your certificate. The value of the certificate would be applied to the free game, which would not benefit you. If one game is more expensive, you can use the certificate to make it the same value as the other two games ($5 reward certificate applied to transaction with two $10 games and one $15 game would make all three games $10).

TERMINOLOGY AND LINGO:
ASL/SL: Assistant Store Leader, Store Leader; manager positions at GS.
B2G1: Buy two, get one free.
GS: GameStop
JD: Junior detective, an employee who is out to get someone
LP: Loss Prevention; this is the department that actually bans accounts after being flagged.
TC/TiC: Trade credit.
TIV/TV: Trade in value, or what a game currently trades for. When posting a TV for a game, always use the base value.

Has anyone tried trading in games today and pick something up to see if you get 40% instead of the usual 30%?
I assume you are referring to the 30% bonus when trading towards a new or preorder game, then add extra 10% for Pro week, could make it 40%. That would be nice. I do not see the 30% bonus posted on the website or in recent email newsletters, so I am not sure if that is active during Pro week sales.

Sorry about that. Yes the trade bump is what I was referring to.

Dang just found out one of my local stores closed last week. Was there for a pretty long time (20 years or so) and was in a good area too (big shopping plaza). I only have to go a couple miles farther to the next closest one but I'm still kinda surprised since it always seemed busy whenever I went.

it is still on the trade in page, so it should work, just a question about how the extra 10% pro is added to find out if they stack.

Good deal if you have Pro membership and don't have MS bucks to burn. Otherwise it's the same price on Xbox. If only you could still use gift cards/trade credit on digital goods... 🥴
GameStop just backtracked on the prices. Pro membership means little to nothing now.

Cuphead Delicious Last Course digital XSX is currently $7.99/$7.59. If that price changes suddenly, then we have a mole lurking here.

Not sure on prices, but there was a promo "Save Up To 50% Off Select EA Digital GameStop" that ended at midnight central and all 3 games were included with it. I don't monitor digital items, so I have no idea on what prices were.

For Cuphead, it's just the DLC, so $7.99 price makes sense for that.

Midnight central on a Monday/Tuesday, so odd!

The sale on Xbox ended. EA is one of those rare companies that put their digital codes at other retailers on sale at the same time as Xbox. Not all the time and not all retailers though. Sometimes Newegg or Best Buy matches but it is usually Gamestop.

I can confirm, traded in a bunch of common games and junk extra controllers and put 5 bucks towards Mario & Luigi Brothership and got that sweet sweet extra 10%.
Oh wow, just assumed they didn't stack for the 40%. I'll have to trade some stuff in when I get a chance then

Any good flips this week then to take advantage of this deal?

Oh I couldn't tell you. I don’t follow the vagaries of GS TIV’s close enough to have any idea. I just trawl my local pawn shops and thrift stores for things to trade in. This week I found WWE2K23 and left 4 dead 2 for about 6 bucks total, should trade in for $30+ in credit.

I was shocked. I ordered Space Marines 2 and and Mato Anomalies (used) and they both came in their original packaging🤯

(and I hate ordering from GS, but it was the only way I could get a physical copy of Space Marines)

Most people don't like Mato anomalies seemingly so it coming with the packaging doesn't surprise me. Amazon still has probably a pallet of them going by it being in game sales on woot all the time.

I think each store only got 2 30th dualsenses for pre-order. So far online, it seems to add the 100 at the start of each hour. Even though it shows not available, you can add to cart.

So you'll pay tax twice? Once on the psn cards and then on the purchase of the digital game?

Not sure that's actually legal.

PSN cards etc are considered gift cards. And shouldn't be taxed...
I purchased Lost in Random, Panzer Dragoon Remake, and Realms of Ancient War when they were dirt cheap several weeks ago on the MS store, no sales tax; in addition, there was no sales tax charged on the 360 Marketplace right before shutting down (R.I.P.). I also purchased the seasons pass for Marvel's Midnight Suns earlier this year on the PSN store, also no sales tax.

weird, not showing tax for me online. you guys have me worrying I should go in store and buy some up with my credit just in case it changes. I was going to keep it and see if i could get a ps5 pro from gamestop but i am worried they will be gamestop and force a bundle or make it pro only and my pro expire 11/4.
