Got the last copy of Dynasty Tactics 2.

They didn't have much else. But they did have one copy of the EA Gamers Pack for a penny. My Surgically enhanced eyes locked in on it and I lucked out.
 
So far, I'm not having any luck getting any of the games. The local Best Buy was out of all I wanted except Dynasty Tactics 2 and Monster Rancher 4. If anyone can snag an extra Dark Cloud 2, Arc the Lad or Fatal Frame 2, lemme know, I'm willing to pay for 'em obviously :)

woo hoo! i scored big time (well for me at least, i know a LOT of you fellow CAGers buy like 10 games a day, lol) @ one of my best buys...the first one only had boktai (i got last copy)...but the second best buy was even better: dynasty tactics 2(i got one of the last 2 copies), arc the lad (i got last copy), true crime strat guide (3 left after i got 1), nfsu strat guide (5 left after i got one), and finally 2 socom 2 strat guides (got the last 2)...this was a good day for me...all that stuff for 20 bucks and like 15 cents...thanks for all you guys' help, couldn't have done it w/ out CAG!! (obviously this is my first big DEAL...u can tell by how im typing, lol ;) )
 
the best but in pittsburgh on mcknight rd has 2-4 fatal frames left, marked 9.99

i picked up 2 copies hoping to trade one for dark cloud 2 since my bb was out, let me know if u have it!
 
Drakan: The Ancients' Gates is one of the absolute best games on the PS2. Don't pass on it simply because it's a low-profile title. It is an extremely well-designed and addictive adventure game.

My top three PS2 games:

1. ICO
2. The Mark of Kri
3. Drakan: The Ancients' Gates

If your tastes are anything like mine, you will love this game.

i got goblin commander and outlaw volleyball for $9.99 and batman and rogue ops for $4.99 all on xbox at a bestbuy in yorba linda , ca
 
In addition to the last Fatal Frame II and X2: Wolverine's Revenge, I picked up 2 True Crime guides and then Jak II and Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando guides. Didn't see those on that guide list...so maybe they're new...

Some BB don't have these games clearenced yet, so there is a bit of YMMV, also just like the CC deal the games could be marked higher but scan in at clearence price.

Oh, and here's my goodie list, from the Best Buy in Waco, TX.

Dynasty Tactics 2 - Last copy
Monster Rancher 4 - Last copy
Mafia OSG - A few copies left after mine.
C&C Renegade OSG - Last one
EA Gamer's Pack at $0.01 - Last one.

The guides were both $0.01, and I picked up the new Drowning Pool CD while I was at it for $8.

Now, if I can find someone to pick up the other 3 I mentioned earlier (AtL PS2, DC2, and FF2), I'll be glad to paypal some cash. :)

Yeah the local Best Buy is perhaps the worst ever, which is odd considering it's only 4 months old. I had them scan RE code Verionca and it was a totally different price than on this list (like 10 or 20 more), this was Monday evening.
They are probably just behind.
 
Snagged the last Dynasty Tactics 2 at Woodbury, MN BB. No FF2, DC2, or AtL. They had 2 Sphinx's left though and tons of Havens. I've been looking for Whiplash too, but no dice.

The Best Buy in columbia MD had a couple of the titles available, but nothing great. No DT2, FF2, DC2, Sphinx, or Botkai. (I had them look it up in the system.) They did have Outlaw Volleyball (but who would buy it... 15 or so copies left.) Rogue Ops (plenty of copies) Mace Griffin (5 or so copies) and that was about it.

Heh, I picked up Outlaw Volleyball as well. It does kind of get old quick. But I had fun with it when 3 buddys came over.

After you play a dozen or so matches you basically get the game down cold and it really just feels like going through the motions in order to beat the CPU, basically it just gets too easy. Still, for $10 I'd say I got my money's worth.

It has a few funny lines, but most of them kind of fall flat :lol:
 
If anyone in Maryland is looking for Castlevania for PS2, the Waldorf BB location supposedly has over 100 copies in stock, or so says their online inventory system.

I found it interesting that the announcer is one of the guys from The Daily Show. The same guy that was the rival news anchor in Bruce Almighty.

I've got a question that maybe somone will know the answer to. These are clearance prices right? So does that mean once they are gone they are gone from your Best Buy for good?

hi argyle, i'll check on that goblin commander for ya. i know that the bb is out of dt2.

btw, i got the last arc the lad and mace griffin at my bb yesterday (on top of the last dc2 at a diff bb by my work). somebody had "misplaced" the atc in between all the american idol games, LOL!
