Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

Looks like this is the first one I'll join a happy hour group for. Had I not bought the $3 Commandos pack on Steam last month (which seemed like a great deal!), I'd be more excited.
I just got an email about 30 minutes ago with this. Am I missing something? Website says $6.25. I mean, I know we're talking about $.26 here. Just surprised.
I always seem to know about these bundles long before I get my subscription email. If I wait to get a notification before checking out the bundle page the average price has already gone up quite a bit from the starting price.

I give thanks to the CAG early warning system!
Looking for a spot in a happy hour group, PM me if you have on spot open, thanks.
Looking for the same :D

I'm only interested in Ion Assault, Air Conflicts and Cargo since I already have All the Commandos games... even Strike Force!

Edit: I REALLY want Cargo and Air Conflicts! Yeah, guess I'll be looking to join in a Happy Hour group buy. Please and thanks!

For all of the people requesting Happy Hour Group Buys... Have you ever thought of hosting one yourself?

Instructions for how to do so should be in the first post. This topic really needs a new thread.

fuck right when I'm in the process of doing a fresh reinstall on my computer. Still though, I am interested in a happy hour spot when it's on if anyone has one is available. PM me and I'll get back as soon as I can.

The Gala site is pretty incomprehensible. I thought about hosting, but never felt like I knew what I was getting into.

The first step is to buy one non-gift pack now, yes?

I too am in favor of a new thread with a proper OP, but I don't have the dedication to do so. but if someone did, I would use their thread. As this happy hour stuff sounds intriguing

It seems to me like the first person to buy a pack is the one screwed, because he's giving everyone else a discount? I hope I'm looking at it the wrong way, but that's how it seems to me.

At first people were complaining they paid full price for their bundle and everyone else came along for the ride when the four packs popped up.

Someone came up with the arrangement where the host sells off the happy hour packs for an even split of what they paid, so one non-happy hour bundle and four happy hour bundles have been costing everyone, even the host, about $1.90.

Some hosts sell multiple 4 packs and can make a few dollars off it. And the host get Gala Points!

(Crazy I know all this and can't figure out how to host on my own.)

The solution is to make a wiki-thread.

I've noticed a tendency on the part of Indie Gala to feature a bunch of games from a particular publisher. Just off the top of my head, here are three publishers that they've relied on pretty heavily. All three of these still have games left in their catalogs that haven't appeared in any Indie Gala bundles, so it's possible that some of these might show up in future bundles.

 • Greed: Black Border (IG3)

lol, I noticed that too. But I didn't have the heart to mention it in my post.

The host isn't screwed, he pays as much as anyone else in the group and actually comes out a little ahead (Galapoints ZOMG!!!). All a host needs to do is pay $1 for the bundle in the first week, and when a happy hour pops up, buy another bundle for above the average price (in this case it'd be $6+ depending on the average price) with the "gift" option marked on the Indie Gala site. Then, all there is left to do is split the cost of the original bundle purchase, and the happy hour purchase ($1 + $6.X) between everyone in the group. Everyone ends up paying the same.

I'd be up for joining either of your groups if you end up hosting. I remember wasting sooooo many hours on the commandos series, be nice to see if I've gotten any better ..or worse, over the years.

Alright, since there's so many people interested in the bundle this time, I bought today and will be hosting a 4pack. Please pm if you want to be included.

Yeah, they didn't update it for the android bundle either IIRC. The happy hour is legit though, I just got 4 gift bundles.

Ok, i just bought a gift pack. If you're interested, it'll be $1.82 a piece via Paylpal GIFT. PM me if you're interested.

If you've already arranged to buy from somebody else, please wait for them.

The End is selling it at the correct price. Not sure why M_F_A_H is selling it for less, maybe he just wants to sell them faster? The average price has been consistent since happy hour went live.

EDIT: Nevermind.. as The End pointed out, M_F_A_H is leaving out the initial $1 purchase.

hmm M_F_A_H must not be asking for compensation for the initial purchase.

Well until M_F_A_H runs through his lot, buy from him. I've gotta go eat dinner now anyway.

Yeah, because I sold the keys from my first purchase so it was pretty much free to me.

If I'm causing a problem then I can raise the price if you want.

It's fine, was just curious about the pricing was all. Sell as you like!

M_F_A_H bought on the early fake happy hour that was actually just a goof up on the Indie Gala part. Then he complained and they gave him two extra bundles to make up for it. I bought one of them @ the $1.56 price.

Edit: Ninja'ed by M_F_A_H

Anyway, the whole math on this happy hour stuff makes my head hurt.
How long does Happy Hour typically last?
They said this one will last "all night" according to their tweet. Usually the first happy hour isn't very long though, maybe a few hours.

That was actually the Gala Mobile bundle. There weren't any fake happy-hours this time.

what date is the cutoff for the 4x1 happy hour bonus? It says June 2nd but thats wrong. I bought my bundle on the 25th. I beat the average to get the extra games though. Haven't bought an indiegala since they started doing the happy hour so I didn't realize you could pay the minimum and then get the 4x1 bonus during happy hour. If I'm good for the 4x1 I'd host a group but it would be $2.50 a head since I didn't buy in for a buck in the beginning. It would be an even split. Let me know if you're interested.

Edit: I bought it the first day so I'll get the 4x1. I have one person in at $2.50, still have 3 slots open. PM me if you're interested.

Also already have Void so I'm looking to get rid of my extra code. I'd sell or trade for another Steam game. PM me if you want to work something out.

It's alright man. Now that I know that BigSpoonyBard was just kidding about chopping my head off (I was worried for a second because of his avatar), everything's OK.

Oh and I'm back from dinner. Had spareribs and they were deeeeeelicious.

I still have one bundle left, if you want it, it's $1.82 via paypal GIFT. After it's gone, I'll fade into the background for a while and let others host. If you've already arranged to buy from somebody else though, please wait for them.

If you're interested, PM me.
