Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

Do they seriously expect people to download 4GB of bonus content for The Void? Does anybody actually like the game enough for that?

For those wondering, I can confirm that the added stuff appears in the gifts. So check your gift urls if you still have them. That being said, here's a couple free keys for the commandos games:

4XNKB-IJK2M-WJMJQ
4WK0I-RNVRQ-3RBQY

TRAUMA? Well I can honestly say, I wasn't expecting that.

I kinda agree with sunghost. I already have Trauma from one of the Humble bundles. It would have been better to get horrid Henry out of the way.
Do they seriously expect people to download 4GB of bonus content for The Void? Does anybody actually like the game enough for that?
Well if they did care enough, they probably would have done so already. Apparently all of The Void bonus content is available for free on the Dev's website. This was pointed out in this thread several days ago by somebody here. I apologize to whoever you were for not giving you credit for that, but I don't have the heart to search through 10 or 11 pages of indie Gala talk to find your post. So I'll just give you a generic thank you.

Just you wait until they do the Dear Esther/Dinner Date bundle.

I guess there's another Happy Hour going on.

I would imagine that at this point, almost everybody who's interested in this bundle has probably already bought it themselves, or has taken part in a group buy. But I just thought I'd point it out anyway.

I didnt have Trauma it was included in a HIB before I started PC gaming again....so I'm glad it was in this. I played it for a little, turned it off and I will play it again, but first I'm going to need like 1/8th of mushrooms and 1/4 of some of the dankest pot in the world.

I enjoyed Trauma when I played it a month or so ago. Doesn't take long to play it. Even shorter if you're not going for the multiple endings each episode offers. I clocked in 2 hours to see pretty much everything.

I've got a few of the previous IndieGala for sale for $2 a piece. Includes:
Making History: The Calm & The Storm, Beat Hazard, Razor2: Hidden skies, Ironclads: High Seas, Ironclads: American Civil War, Ironclads: Schleswig War 1864, Ironclads: Anglo Russian War 1866, Ironclads: Chincha Islands War 1866, Space Empires IV Deluxe, Battle Mages, World Rally Championship Racing, Bad Rats, Disciples II: Rise of the Elves, Puzzle Kingdoms, Ninja Blade, and SBK X: Superbike World Championship

I'm still interested in joining a group buy for this latest bundle. I can offer Paypal or trade the previous bundle that included: Making History: The Calm & The Storm, Beat Hazard, Razor2: Hidden skies, Ironclads: High Seas, Ironclads: American Civil War, Ironclads: Schleswig War 1864, Ironclads: Anglo Russian War 1866, Ironclads: Chincha Islands War 1866, Space Empires IV Deluxe, Battle Mages, World Rally Championship Racing, Bad Rats, Disciples II: Rise of the Elves, Puzzle Kingdoms, Ninja Blade, and SBK X: Superbike World Championship...

I too need a group, or can join yours [if you decide to host].

Is anyone interested in doing a last minute group buy? I've been holding out on buying the BTA bundle for the price it is right now because I only want three of the games in it. I'm also up for buying a spare Happy Hour bundle or separate keys (Ion Assault, Air Conflicts and Cargo are all I want). Let me know!

Just a heads up guys, Happy Hour is on, its maybe the last one.

I could host a group if theres enough interest.

edit: Oh well, I'll do it, $1.90 a piece.
edit2: Sold!

Since it appears someone came in and deleted all of the recent posts with impunity, I'll repost the relevant information.

- Current Indie Gala bundle ends in 36 hours
- Happy hour is on

So if you were thinking about purchasing this bundle but haven't yet, make a decision soon.

Anyone care to explain how happy hour works?

... from what I can tell you purchase as a gift and you get extra codes, in this case 5 slots.

So if I beat the average as a gift I get 5x the full bundle plus bonuses?

There are shysters in that thread peddling bundles for $3.50. This thread is more ethical.

Thanks, so let me see if I got this straight. In order for me to have gotten the best deal I would have had to beat the average for myself in the first week (x1) and then beat the average yet again on another as a gift during happy hour (+4x1), so I'd wind up with 5 bundles for the above average price of 2?

It's a little confusing, I tried it before I got a response and it showed 5 email slots. It said to leave them blank and you'd get links but I only ended up with 2 sets of links for $6.26.

edit: I just came across this on their site ...

Give 2 gifts for more than: $7.67
Give 3 gifts for more than: $10.96
Give 4 gifts for more than: $14.24
Give 5 gifts for more than: $16.44

... so I could have spent the extra $1.42 and got 4 instead of 2 ... anyone know if I can donate the extra $1.42 to get the extra gift?

:dunce:

It's not really that hard to figure out, honestly. You buy in the first week, you get the best deal for happy hour. The best deal would have been to buy for $1 in the first week, then buy BTA bundles (four for the price of one) during happy hour, sell the other three links, and keep the extra one for yourself. And you often gain money by hosting more and more four packs, meaning your "deal" only improves the more you host. Thanks to The End, bundles are priced higher to offset the cost of the original purchase in the first week.

If you bought it in the first week, any gift you make during HH is quadrupled. I don't know how much more we can help you because the way it works is so glaringly obvious.

You don't have to BTA to get 4x1-- you just pay $1 within the first week to set yourself up for later. Then, when the Happy Hour comes around, you BTA to get 4 BTA gifts.

It is slightly convoluted but you'll get the hang of it.

Everyone always asks how it works without bothering to look through all the posts that explain how it works. And there's a question mark on the Indie Gala page you can hover over to read everything we read when we figured it out.

I'll just edit the information into the OP (since it's now wikified).

By the way, what you posted is wrong. Just go to the website and look at "Info Here" in the very top section. There's a question mark you hover over that will answer your question exactly. You should have four links if you used the same e-mail to buy in the first week and to buy a gift during happy hour. You should contact IG if you only have two links.

I edited the OP and put in all the information people should need about Happy Hour and group buys. I also updated to the current bundle and made a section for past bundles.

I totally forgot about the Mobile bundle...added that one in too. I tried not to miss anything. It should be more accurate than the wikipedia entry now. ;)
