Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

"There" as in indie gala 8 or 5? You must be more specific. Mine still aren't listed in my indie gala 8. I'll email them about it but I am on vacation this weekend so ill wait. I'm also trying to buy IG5 from someone that supposedly has copies left so if that happens i probably won't email indie gala about the missing dl links. But as it looks now ill have to email them. Hopefully bad rats will be in a future bundle.

I have a development to report on the missing games from the IG8 bundle page. As I said before, I bought from Fox and my bundle page doesn't contain Achtung Panzer, WRC 2010 or SBK X. This hasn't changed for me.

However, I also got a copy of the bundle that I won off of Steam Gifts. On the download page for the bundle that they sent me, I have access to the missing games. In fact, I just downloaded them. So it looks like it's something that got screwed up with Fox's order. I would guess that everybody who bought from Fox is experiencing the same problem.

Then I will email them about the issue because that is crap. I haven't checked any other link but my own, but I assume they are all the same.

Edit:
Just emailed them and will let you guys know what they say. In the meantime the URLs for the DRM free DLs are not tied to a specific account as far as I can tell so if anyone who bought into my group wants to DL just PM and I will send you the links once I confirm you were in the group buy.

Thank you much sir. I'd love a link but I won't be on my comp till later on Sunday as I am on vacation right now. So no need to send me the link if it comes up before then. I'm also in your group buy for this indie gala 9 (no real need to mention that, just excited to get worms golf ect. for under two bucks :))

I appreciate you guys checking in about this dilemma, this community is awesome. I'll end up hosting a group buy in the future, but I'd like to host a couple of 4 packs before that just so I don't screw up.
"There" as in indie gala 8 or 5? You must be more specific.
Sorry. They are gone in IG8 and there in IG5. Which means the Panzer game is missing entirely. It also means that it has to be a glitch.

Alright, IG just responded and told me this should be fixed now and to check to confirm. So if anyone who was missing theirs from my group could check and see if the links are there now so I can let them know if it is fixed or not.

Thanks.

Yeah, they're also back on both of the gift links that I bought from you Fox. So between you, KillingMachine, golfer & myself, that's at least a quarter of the bundles accounted for. That's a pretty good sample size. It's safe to assume that everybody else who bought from you now has their bundle fixed.

Thanks.

I'd like to point out it wasn't just Fox's bundle, but I'll assume every bundle.

I got my Indie Gala 8 gift bundle from BrolyB593, and it was missing those games which are now back and fixed, so it's cool. Thanks for emailing them.

Also, my Indie Gala 5 had those 2 games at all times no glitches.

I was wondering if any of the other bundles had the same problem. Good to see that it's been fixed across the board.
I would also like to be part of a bundle. If anyone has one starting up lease let me know. I would like to purchase two if I could.
You should try asking in this thread.

This was a great bundle to buy into, but now I have Alien Breed 2 and 3 and not the first one. Oh well.

Apparently even more bonuses will unlock:

Alien Breed 3 and Worms Pinball unlocked now, NExt bonuses in the next few days!

Mayb some music? Someone said they were hoping for a PC version of the Cthulu game.

Anyone else think it's ridiculous that Indie Galas timer is displayed in seconds? I don't remember it being like that for past bundles. Who counts days in seconds? Seriously.

It is completely ridiculous. The other day I did the math to see how much longer there was because I was surprised no happy hour had taken place yet. It's not difficult math, but its dumb they make you do it if you really want to know how much time is left.

Wasn't Alien Breed: Impact supposed to be in this bundle? Maybe it's one of the other unlocks? Or maybe I just thought it was going to be since the other two games are. :)

Worms Pinball and Alien Breed 3: Descent are the unlocked games. This is a really good bundle! I just hope a happy hour kicks in so I can gift all these games to my family!

This.

Alien Breed: Impact was already included in Groupees Build-a-Bundle 2 few months ago.

You should try asking in this thread.
There are 15 people on the wait list for another Happy Hour group so if you are interested and haven't signed up yet get over to the above link pronto and add your name to the list.

I would be happy if they threw Alien Breed in as a secret bonus to complete the trilogy.

Thanks. I was completing my post as someone else was answering that same question so I went back and edited but not before you quoted me apparently. :)

Last one they took 7 days or a little more as well. The first happy hour that one started really early on a Saturday morning and literally lasted around an hour.

Then they did another later that same day. But HH is definitely getting a little scarcer. It also all depends on the sales. This one has been selling pretty briskly so far hitting 10K and almost 11K with not happy hour. That's pretty good for IG. I still expect some HH though not as many or as long as before.

Man, I've had entirely too much going on to be keeping tabs on Indie Gala and their increasingly infrequent happy hours. If only I could get an email or PM when it happens...

... I guess there's Twitter, but I try to forget it exists

Twitter is good for free game codes and bundle announcements, that's pretty much it ;). Same with facebook lol, the only reason I use those services.

I was gonna buy this bundle for $6 to get the bonus games, but then I realized that Im trying to pass on AvP for $4 which I would actually play, and this would be $6 for like 7 games I'd probably never play

I was beginning to think this happy hour wasn't going to happen. My brother will be pleased that it did.

However, I purchased the bundle and have been waiting for 30 minutes to receive my keys. It's usually instantaneous. The site seems to be getting slammed pretty hard. Other people in the Gala Chat box are complaining about the delay as well.
