Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

Finally got my keys (there was about a 2 hour delay overall). I had emailed support and they sent a nice response back apologizing and saying that there was a long backlog of orders.

Anyway, they gave me three sets of keys (instead of two) which is awesome. Maybe they did it to make up for the delay. Not sure, but I'm happy to have three sets!

Thanks Cheap for being so generous and hosting another awesome group buy. Sent you a PP gift. :bouncy:
edit. wow received my indiegala gift as I was typing this. lol talk about fast, no wonder you're like a fox.
Is this the big one? Are we finally going to get our group buys?
All I can think of is earthquakes now thanks aus. :)

OK. I am sending these out as I get them while I am logged on to CAG. If I'm not around then I'll get to them when I get home (got a comedy show and a few other things to go to today).

I should be caught up to everything sent (not within the last 5 minutes). If you sent payment before then and have not received anything, check your email and if nothing is there PM as I sent them all out but the IG site is buggy today.

Thanks Fox, I'm going to send extra, but don't want it confused as paying for multiple bundles, so look for a "tip" in a few days. I mean seriously, this thing came in for less than a buck. As a matter of honor, no CAG should pay less than that. I mean free is better than paying less than a dollar, that's just insulting.

And also, just to clarify for anyone reading this. I decided to host two extra bundles today after seeing so much interest in the group buy thread, but by that time the price of the gift packs had gone up around $5 bucks, hence why the later bundles are slightly more than the early ones I hosted. Still a steal at either price.

Same. Still waiting on a response from their support regarding my missing key...

Should've said this earlier but - I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have remembered to check today, so thank you for bringing it to my attention. :D Even one copy of this bundle is an insane deal at the beat-the-average price, and this is by far the best Gala package yet, even considering that it's almost exclusively two franchises.

I'm getting an "Error Over Quota" message, but I do have to say mink-e was an outstanding group buy host. He got me the code so quick after I sent payment that I accidentally deleted the PM when I hit the quota. Good thing it's in my email.

Indiegala growing pains.

Me too. Was about to post about it because I have been getting it for the past few hours now. Worked earlier today but I wasn't near my computer. I was in fox's group buy. Also, thank you much fox. The price for this bundle was unbelievable.

Yeah, the sites been down for me for hours now, so I have everyone's payment emails and will send out the rest of the bundles once it comes back online.

I await your email, my good Fox. So many great games in this one for such a low group buy price!

Finally. Now I can check to see if the bundles that Fox sent to me are now linked to my account. I had been waiting hours just to find out. Unfortunately, the answer is no.

What does it look like on your end Fox (or anybody else who hosted and sent bundles out using the new email feature)? Do the bundles disappear from your bundle page list after you send them out? Or is there at least some sort of note that the bundle has been sent to somebody?

On my side it lists the bundles and underneath in italics it says "This bundle was gifted to EMAIL"

So good for tracking. Also, if anyone who got a gift bundle from me is missing any games on it please email Indiegala support. Tell them you received an IG9 gift bundle and it was missing certain games. Tell them what games were missing and include a copy of your gift URL so they can confirm.

They should then send you the missing keys.

Thanks.

Mine was missing three but I contacted them via email yesterday and they emailed me my missing keys this morning, was rather painless. Didn't bother you with it since it was their mess up.

Nice. I was expecting mostly music. Smooth Operators just came out on XBLIG and I've heard some positive things about it. Glad I didn't waste... a dollar (who am I turning into to!)

These guys are obsessed with F-777. I believe that this marks the 5th time that their music has be featured in an Indie Gala Bundle.

I've been going back recently and listening to the music from all the bundles (except Mobile 2, which I skipped) and I can conclusively say that most of what I've listened to is crap. So far, I like Star****er "Reptiles" from IG1, Baron Von Luxxury "The Last Seduction" from IG5 and I kinda like the two Lullatone albums from IGM1 & IG6.

EDIT: I haven't listened to it all, so there might be a few more gems in there.

Wait, what?

A legitimately indie game in a recent Indie Gala bundle?

What is the world coming to?

Happy hour is live right now...I bought for $1 during the first week so I could host a group buy. Just seems confusing as hell
Happy hour is live right now...I bought for $1 during the first week so I could host a group buy. Just seems confusing as hell
Go to your bundle URL (it was emailed to you when you paid the $1 the first week.

Click on "Indie Gala 9" link.

Then scroll down and you can buy bundles directly from that page.

Make sure to click the IS THIS A GIFT box.

Then enter one of the following amounts:

Give 2 gifts for more than: $12.09
Give 3 gifts for more than: $17.27
Give 4 gifts for more than: $22.46
Give 5 gifts for more than: $25.91

Or beat the regular average ($5.95 I think?) for only one gift.

Each gift will then be multiplied by 4.

I would gauge demand before buying if I were you.

I just BTA for $6 and got 4 gifts. I saw your post but the amounts are sorta confusing, I mean if you BTA no matter how much you put in it will only be for that one gift right? or does it work differently when buying gifts...cuz what your saying is if I pay $12.09 then I get 2 gifts (or 8 total), which would be the same as BTA/$6 twice right?

LOL... wow, I hadn't noticed that. Their gift packs are SUPPOSED to save you money. But I see that if you buy 2 gifts they actually cost your MORE. LOL. When you get up to 5 gifts you do end up saving like 5 bucks over buying them individually.
